About this property

Beautiful & Large Bedroom in B&B in Exquiste Tropical Home- Centrally located

This house celebrates and embraces the wonderful diversity of this great country. We welcome, with arms stretched wide, our brothers and sisters of all races, creeds and sexual orientation. Together we will not build walls but a magnificent future for our children and future generations.

This is one of two beautiful bedrooms in a historic B&B home minutes away from the city center. This bedroom has a new queen size bed and a small sitting area as well as a spacious closet with a full size mirror and 2 large windows overlooking at a tree garden. Guests have access to the uber cool porch, living and dining areas as well as the kitchen for breakfast and heating ( no cooking) , and the charming back garden. We have tables an d chairs for al fresco dining and in the evening the deck turns into a romantic spot with delicate lights.
Our check in time is from 2PM until 9PM and we request from our guests to provide us with a one hour window cfor arrival at least one day before check in date.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This house is an amazing array of old world charm. It’s a gem in the heart of little Havana. Quaint streets wait for a lovely stroll. But the back yard is a true paradise, escape from the hustle and bustle around you in greater Miami and sit in a shady oasis with plush greenery around you! A lovely spot.

Our new "go to" place in Miami

Immediately felt so welcomed and confortable in this beautiful home with amazing hosts. Inèz and Woody were beyond lovely. Beautiful stay in a home full of character

We would not hesitate to stay at Ines's home again if we are in Miami in the future. She does everything to make sure you are comfortable and feel truly welcome. Her breakfasts are out of this world delicious. The beautiful backyard was a perfect place to share a bottle of wine when we didn't feel like going out for the night. A home that reflects the beauty of its host and love for people and hospitality.

Ups: Hostess/host/owner/manager very friendly and flexible. The place has a lot of great unique charm. Kind of on the edge of "town" so was good for quiet, a nice refuge. Lots of great design character inside the house. Very friendly and conversational, great hosts! Very accommodating. Downs: The single shared bathroom very packed and cluttered, many parts needed updating/replacement/rehab. No good ventilation, so a previous guest left it super steamed up and with the Miami humidity it didn't feel good in there. I didn't come to Miami for the bathroom, so it's not a deal breaker for me, but that was the least enjoyable part of the house. Not being able to control the temperature and was hos in the room was kind of uncomfortable. The extreme amount of stuff seemed to make the place hard to clean overall, so it was not dirty by any stretch but was more like visiting a relative's house where the cleaning kind of got away from them for an extra week.

Lovely weekend in Miami

Came to Miami for a weekend for the Taylor Swift concert with my 8 year old daughter. We absolutely loved our stay! Ines is the most gracious host. The place was lovely, very centrally located, with every amenity one could desire. My daughter especially enjoyed meeting Carlitos- the resident cat. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Enjoyed our experience thoroughly. The only downside was the temperature in the house. It was too warm for our comfort as well as another guest in the house. The humidity and heat were high outside which made it that way inside as well. We come from a cooler climate and didn’t enjoy that aspect. Other than that, the experience was wonderful. Beautiful gardens surrounding the house. Worldly aesthetic inside. Felt safe and comfortable with the person who ran the B&B. Felt he went above and beyond to assist with our stay. Grateful we landed here as it was unexpected due to the hurricane.

Where to watch Marlins Baseball

Absolutely wonderful, the host is very attentive to every detail from booking to check out. One block from Marlins ballpark in an historic district. Close to ethnic restaurants and other attractions.

Our Miami Oasis

Very unique and delightful home in Little Havana just north of the ballpark. Beautiful gardens and so much interesting items and curios all over the house. Ines was the most gracious, caring and warm host. She always had the insider info on sights to see, places to park and especially the best places to eat and listen to music. And her breakfasts were always the best - just what we needed to start our day of sightseeing. Some airplane noise but rarely an issue and I am a very light sleeper. The house was very centrally located and it usually took us less than 20-25 minutes to drive to most major locations, including Vizcaya, South Beach and Wynwood. A quick 10 minute Uber ride to Little Havana restaurants and bars.

I was born in Bogota, Colombia and I have been living in the states, specifically Miami, for the last 30 years. I went to law school in Colombia but early on I decided to abandon law and dedicated myself to different creative projects. I have traveled to India, Africa, Mexico, Guatemala. Nepal and Cambodia among others. I love beautiful things, color, kindness, honor and friendship. I love being a VRBO host. I know a little about Miami and share that knowledge gladly with my guests.

Why they chose this property

When I saw this home for the first time I realized the house had chosen me. We were bound by my love for old architecture, Florida pine floors, crown moldings a floor plan that was not an open plan and, oh my god, the lime green bathroom tiles. I liked the neighborhood and the way the house sat on the lot with 2 cypress trees side by side. She looked like an elegant girl going to her first ball. Through the years the house has changed but the essence is the same. Because I love color, the house is no longer white/white, because I love plants and flowers, butterflies and birds, I planted and planted again and again, shrubs, flowers, bamboo trees. Some grew, some did not but I filled the garden with green.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with the tile on the porch and you will to ,( just wait and see) the arches, the mango tree, the long green entrance by the side of the house, the small and delightful back yard and the great front porch.
