Fantastic Location With Potential to be a Great Condo

The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The condo #3-202 has a great oceanfront location with unrestricted views. Unfortunately, the condo does not measure up to its potential. While the condo was generally clean, there are many areas of deferred maintenance that are in need of updating. The furniture is old but in OK condition while the various lights and lamp shades are in poor condition and should be replaced. The bathroom vanities had been updated in the past but the bathtub/shower faucets and showerheads are badly corroded. The badly corroded and rusted lounge chairs on the lanai are not inviting. There are adequate plates and silverware but only a few bowls of various sizes, which is inadequate for four guests. There are no BBQ utensils and limited kitchen accessories for measuring. Two coffee makers were found, one inside a box in a kitchen cabinet and the other in the entry closet, but neither was complete. One had a carafe too short for the coffee to be properly brewed but it worked OK in the other maker so we were able to make coffee. It should be noted that the second bedroom has a full-size kayak behind the beds and a bike on the closet. Also, if the window is left open when it rains, the rain water floods the floor.In our opinion, the owner should spend a few $1,000 to better maintain the condo and provide a better guest experience.
