Great value for the price.
Had a great time. Rode 4 wheelers. Saw a lot of wildlife. Huckleberrys everywhere. Very relaxing weekend. Steve was a great host. People in Dixie are incredible. Steve, you might have to re-stock your ice cream.

We enjoyed hosting Gerry and the boys. Great laughter and games. Gerry and his crew left our cabin in spotless and in great shape. You are welcome back anytime.
Our stay at this cabin was the best rustic off-grid getaway imaginable! The home is stocked with all anyone would want and then some! The weather was fantastic and being able to come back to a warm welcoming home and community was very refreshing. Steve knows the area well and helped us find new area's to explore, even allowed us to park our rig at the cabin while we spent a couple days on the Salmon! No cell service gave us the break from work we needed however having hot showers and comfortable beds will bring us back the next time, bringing the grandkids next time!!! Full kitchen inside, and BBQ on the back porch, wilderness surrounding, quiet friendly community.
This cabin in Dixie Idaho was actually a 3 bedroom home fully outfitted for outdoor adventure! Steve was a wonderful guide that knows the area well and is helpful in every way. Even the resident chipmunks were friendly, as were the neighbors and towns people, We explored the area in our UTV and was astonished to learn the owners of the cabin were kind enough to allow us to leave the truck and trailer at the property as we went to spend a couple nights on the Salmon River, no charge.
We would recommend this amazing cabin to anyone who really wants an off grid getaway while having all the luxuries of home. Next time, we plan on bringing the grandkids and maybe their parents, if they promise to be good and let the youngsters freely explore the area. We could not have asked for a better place to be for our much needed rest from the hassle of daily life in the fast lane. Thanks so much for the hospitality!
The cabin was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room and the half bath upstairs was great so you did not have to go down stairs at night. Lots of movies and games to play. I would stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Dixie. Steve showed us around a bit and is a very gracious host. The amenities were perfect for our family of 5. It got pretty cold when the sun when down and actually went into the negatives. The cabin was warm and toasty inside. We will definitely be back. It is a bit out there and rustic, so if that’s not your thing, then maybe it’s not for you. It was perfect for our family and we have ZERO complaints.
Location was amazing. Both Rita and Steve, check in on you and help you out if you need anything to help with your stay at their cabin. Look forward to another stay.
The cabin and surrounding area where beautiful, and there are lots of places to go for walks and enjoy the outdoors. Steve and Rita are very helpful and welcoming, I’d be more than happy to stay there again
We loved our stay the owners were awesome cabin was clean and very well stocked. Enjoyed our stay very much beautiful area to ride ATV's or horseback ride and a hot spring to swim in not far from where we stayed!!
This was the best vacation ever. Steve and Rita are friendly and helpful with information about the area. We will go back and stay with them again.

The cabin is rustic in appearance but had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay!
Overall the place was clean and comfortable! Very well equipped for almost any occasion! We even forgot ice, but the laundry mat next door had bags for $2! The rooms are larger than needed and have good beds! The heater worked great, we needed that since our ride back to Dixie was in a thunder storm and we got soaked through the rain gear on the dual sports! Took a hot shower and had some bourbon! It's was a nice place to stay and experience the outback and the magruder corridor!
Oh and the hostess Reeda, is a real nice gal, very helpful and a pleasure to spend time with!

A Hidden Gem!
If you're looking to unwire, relax, and enjoy the great outdoors, Steve and Rita provide the perfect place. All you need to bring is food and clothes....the cabin is well stocked with pots/pans, towels, blankets, etc. There are even roasting sticks to if you want to enjoy a s'more at the firepit (there's even split wood in the shed)! Showers available at the laundromat next door for a minimal fee. Plenty of parking if you're hauling in ATV's on trailers. There are no strangers in Dixie...even the UPS driver has a big smile and wave!
We enjoyed ourselves so much that we already have our dates reserved for next year!

Dixie Idaho
We were very surprised to find that nearly everything you'd possibly need was readily available at the cabin! The home had any and all amenities ready & waiting. We were very happy with the area and the locals were all as friendly as can be. I'm definitely looking forward to planning another trip next year!

Dixie Idaho cabin
What a great experience. The cabin had everything we needed to include a fire pit for singalongs and marshmallows sticks for s'mores. It was a little colder than we expected and the closet full of extra blankets was appreciated by all. Friendly people everywhere and lots of games and movies for rainy days. Great place to take kids! Their cell phones, iPads, iPods won't work:)
We liked it so much, my husband and his family are going back next weekend.
