In warmer months, the cabin truly comes alive. Step onto your private dock and enjoy lake days filled with kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, and swimming. We provide a canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards for guest use (seasonal and weather-dependent). Spend long days on the water or simply relax lakeside while taking in uninterrupted mountain and lake views.
Winter: Quiet, Cozy, and Beautiful
Winter at the cabin is peaceful and scenic. Soft white fairy and café lights create a warm, welcoming retreat after a day outdoors. Enjoy ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, sledding, or snowball fights. Snowmobiles can be rented in town, with access into Rocky Mountain National Park. Or stay in—prepare a hearty meal in the upscale kitchen, play games, and watch shooting stars reflect over the frozen lake.

We are Patty and Chris. Our lake cabin was established in 1977. In 2018 we completely renovated our cabin inside and in 2020 we replaced the original dock. We have poured our hearts and soul into our cabin and we love sharing it with good people.

One of the only (if not the only) cabin on Grand Lake which is available to rent. Grand Lake is Colorado's largest natural lake and is a sight to behold. Summer or winter it offers everything you could ever want or dream of in a vacation.
