Quintessential Maine cabin. Rustic, but very clean and has everything one could need, very well taken care off. Highly recommended!

Perfect to recharge and unwind

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin. Totally loved it! It is such a special family place that is so peaceful. We loved the wooden cabin, the original furniture, the fireplace, the canoe and kayak, the hammock, the fire pit etc.

We loved our 5 day sojourn to the Oxbow cabin. Emily was very responsive, checkin was a breeze, and the cabin was rustic and comfortable. Thank you Emily and Scott!

Cabin on a lake in Maine. Who could ask for more? Especially at this time of the year when most other tourists think it's too cold, so the seclusion, the peace and quiet, the serenity - all taken up a notch. It was experience we consider ourselves lucky to have had.
Sunset - sun is behind the viewer but illuminating the clouds nicely.
You can print this out and hold it upside down and tell people the lake was clearer than the sky.

The cabin is in excellent condition. All amenities were 100% functional. Two rainy days were made bearable thanks to the extensive DVD collection and during the four other days when it didn't rain, the beauty of the lake during the day and the sky during the night were all we could have asked for. It truly was a soul-renewing experience.

Oxbow Cabin

An absolute gem. Magnificent setting, exceptionally clean, and thoroughly well appointed. Moving in was a breeze. We were in vacation mode in no time at all.

Beautiful Rangley Area

The hosts thought of everything; from DVD collection to beautiful, white linens. Very cozy & comfortable cabin. Extremely quiet & restful. Suggestions for dining out were helpful & great service. Would recommend for folks looking to get off “the grid” for a few days! View from porch is gorgeous. Had coffee every morning there!

Another great stay!

This was our second year at Oxbow and it was great once again. The property is comfortable and has everything you need for a great visit. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location, close proximity to downtown Rangeley and Oqoussic.

Comfortable and charming. Front porch views of islands and Eagles. Very peaceful setting on tranquil lake. We’ll stocked kitchen. Large dining room table to eat meals. Ample wood for outdoor fires. Kayak and canoe available for paddlling.

3 night getaway to Rangeley Lake area

Absolute pristine and immaculate log cabin. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of amenities such as extra bath towels and blankets, gorgeous waterfront views and dock, canoe and kayak, no noisy neighbors and lots of loons! Allowed us to be very close to our sons who were rough camping in the remote back area of logging territory. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and relaxing location

We had a great stay at the Oxbow cabin and really enjoyed everything about it. House was well laid out and comfortable, lake was great and scenery was fantastic. Highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from it all!

Our Trip to Maine

This was a wonderful cabin to stay in. It was so so homey and just so relaxing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. They had everything you could possibly need except a boat motor. We used the hammock everyday. By far, the favorite cabin we’ve ever stayed in.

Quintessential Maine Camp!

This camp has all the character that you want in a Maine camp combined with modern comforts such as hot water, electricity, and even a dishwasher. The view from the porch is stunning! The lake is dotted with islands and ringed by high hills. We definitely want to return for a longer stay!
