Very accommodating

We stayed in 3 VRBO'S on this trip, and this one was the best! The hosts were accommodating in every way, and their home was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this rental!

Lovely location and terrific hosts

We really liked our accommodations but for a few things. It's a daylight basement and nicely furnished, but because it is quite dark, it needs more lamps to compensate. There were several missing lightbulbs in the fixtures we did have, too. The induction plate was too hot to cook on well (which I would have liked to have done) but there is a full size microwave. Our hosts had generously supplied eggs, fruit, cereal, bottled water and coffee (Thank you, Oke, that was such a treat!!) Our only real issue was this: in the early mornings and evenings, we could hear the thumping of heavy footsteps upstairs, to the point of interfering with our conversations or trying to sleep late in the mornings. We mentioned this to the owner as we were packing the car to leave at the end. He apologized, and kindly said we should have told them; they would have been more considerate and he was right, we should have, but we felt awkward doing so. All and all, we had a very, very nice stay.

Calgary/Banff vacation

This was the perfect place for us, easy to get to Banff from Calgary. Only downside was not being able to cook breakfast, if there was an electric skillet or something to fry eggs in it would have been great.

This place can only host 6 people at most. Thera are 2 badrooms for up to 4 and sofa bad in leaving room. There are only 4 sets of plates and cups.

Wonderful unit, close to Winsport

What a great stay! Comfortable, roomy, and everything you need from kitchenette to laundry. Hosts very responsive to questions. Quiet neighborhood and always parking available regardless of when I arrived! A must for anyone commuting to events at Winsport or the Olympic park, downtown only a few minutes farther. Would stay here again for sure!

Quite residential location easy access to Banff

We'll equiped comfortable private unit under main house, kept clean and well stocked with breakfast and laundry facilities. Friendly hosts, good internet, easy parking, easy access to unit, plenty of heating available for the cool Calgary weather. Living areas bigger than average with plenty of relaxing room. Great value for money property in quite location

Comfortable, quite, clean, all facilities and comforts of home. Location in quite residential area in the suburbs, easy parking, easy access to freeways to access Banff. Friendly family hosts providing self catered breakfast and other basic food items to assist your first days stay. Comfortable large bed and living areas in a private ground floor apartment underneath the main house, accessed from a bright clean backyard, providing easy and private access, and good heating. Would stay again.

Loved it!

Lovely, clean, comfortable, quiet 2 bedroom basement suite on the western edge of Calgary very close and easy to highway 1 access to banff. Extremely easy check in process. Street parking in neighbourhood was easy with no issues. Not a lot of options for eating out closeby, but suite has a nice kitchen area with full fridge and microwave. We would definitely stay again.

Location location location

The property was on the west side just off the #1, so quick access for our day trips to Canmore and Banff. It was clean and had a few breakfast items provided. The trampoline and Netflix were great to entertain the kids. We will definitely be staying again when in the Calgary area, and would not hesitate to recommend it to others!

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay. It's a beautiful suite in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood, close to highway 1 access west to Banff. Parking was great. I loved the music going in the suite when we arrived, nice touch! Also loved fresh fruit and other breakfast items, lovely! Thank you Oke!

Cozy and spacious

Very nice basement suite with small kitchenette. Both bedrooms are nice and spacious. Kitchenette doesn't include toaster, oven, stove, or dishwasher, but they had it stocked with cereal, oatmeal, milk, and fruit. Sofa is very comfortable and the TV included Netflix for easy watching. Owners were very friendly and helpful, even helping us get a park pass printed at the last minute.

Great property, friendly hosts

I said lots of nice things but then when I submitted site broke so briefly: we had an issue where we didn't realize we had to print out the Banff park pass, and our hosts were able to print it out for us on very short notice. It was really amazing. They also had milk and cereal and oatmeal available for breakfasts which we really appreciated. It's worth noting that there isn't a dishwasher, stove, or oven, but there is a refrigerator and microwave. Just don't plan on doing any serious cooking. :) Highly recommend this place and will definitely book again if I'm in the area.

Calgary Escape

Booked the suite as it was close to a dance competition at Edge school. It was perfect. We could go back and forth with ease and not drive in ANY Calgary traffic. For the event anyway. The suite had eggs, cereal and milk (which the almost 13 year old ate a lot of due to growing), and apples. Water bottle were also provided. We used the hot plate and toaster to make breakfasts. Coffee is there. It was a great stay.
