About this property

The Esker Ridge Chalet, Pristine Elkhart Solitude

Experience the solitude and peace of the Kettle Moraine forest while remaining within walking distance of the beautiful resort town of Elkhart Lake! Our lovely Chalet is nestled within a beautiful, rolling landscape which was sculpted by glaciers during the last Ice Age. In fact, the Chalet is surrounded by many noteworthy glacial features, including a magnificent "esker". Breathe the fresh air and immerse yourself in the wonders of this unique place.

The Chalet will be yours and yours alone. There will not be any other guests on the property. Nobody will have access to the Chalet other than you during the duration of your stay.

You'll enjoy clean white towels, clean white bedding, and will have a mini-fridge to yourself. You'll be supplied with eco-friendly soap, and the water is fresh and clean from a private well.

We will look forward to greeting you upon arrival, after that the whole space is yours. At your request, we will set up a campfire for you each night. You are also welcome to enjoy the nature trail which meanders through our beautiful, forested property. This is as good as it gets.

THERE WILL BE NO PETS ALLOWED. We recognize emotional support animals as pets, because that's what they are. emotional support animals are not allowed. If you show up with pets of any kind, you will be asked to leave the premises. We DO welcome well disciplined, certified, official service dogs which are trained to perform a task for a guest that has disabilities. To reiterate, emotional support animals/pets of any kind will not be allowed.

If you submit a payment in this app to book the chalet, your donation will be utilized to maintain the property, stock amenities, pay taxes and cover all 3rd party fees. We are also proud to allocate a portion of your donation to support a variety of worthy charities. We loved our short stay at the Chalet--the hosts are friendly and polite, the space is well-equipped, and the beautiful Wisconsin woods surrounding us made for a tranquil winter holiday. We would highly recommend a visit!

We come for the race and then escape to the tranquillity of this house and it’s surroundings, although less than 10 minutes from the track. Jim and Angela’s hospitality was once again much appreciated!

We loved our stay here! It's the perfect size for a nice getaway for 1-2 people. The area is very private and most of the windows face the woods. There's a lovely little patio attached, too. The woods surrounding the chalet are gorgeous and quiet. Even though we didn't end up needing much, the host is great at communicating and checking in was very easy. And added bonus is being only a couple minutes from Elkhart Lake.We look forward to hopefully staying here in the future!

Just the right thing for a visit to Airventure if you enjoy the show and also like to have a more tranquil setting. The drive to OSH and the seaplane base is easy. Hosts are attentive and responsive and it is a lovely quiet setting. Bonus …. You can get some locally harvested maple syrup!!

Perfect Short Getaway

The property is beautiful and the chalet is very clean and comfortable. They have a friendly cat that greeted me and they have chickens that roam around the property during the day. The rooster is stunning! The town is very quaint and friendly!

This was a beautiful and modern chalet with wonderful customer service. It is tucked in the woods but directly connected to the owners avtual house, so not very private. Definitely would recommend as the owner was so nice and gave us fresh eggs from his chickens.

Just a slight correction. The Chalet is NOT connected to the owners home. The owner's home is on the same property but is in NO WAY connected. The Esker Ridge Chalet is a stand alone need building and guests here have the entire building to themselves for the duration of their stay.

This property was exactly as described ,clean comfortable. It was very charming to be greeted by the flock of chickens maintained by the owners. I really enjoyed my stay at Esker Ridge. I got in quite late and everything was well communicated in advance. I was able to work and enjoy the quiet solitude of the beautiful setting as there was good connectivity with both provided Internet and 5G from the tower. The setting is wonderful and the communication between the owners was really good. These folks have integrity and I would definately consider staying there again when in the area. As value for money is really good considering what you get. There is absolutely no noise and the nature with the trees in a secluded enviornment was wonderful to get back to after busy days spent in the region. There are probably more check boxes I could select if I had utilized them. WP
