About Dia Napolitano
Born & raised in NOLA. We love our city.
Dia Napolitano purchased this House in 2013
Why Dia Napolitano chose Bywater
I grew up uptown & have always loved the tall ceilings, wood floors, ceiling fans and the charm of these old houses. We love to entertain & this property has a large side yard. We love that we can walk to the Marigny & the French Quarter. The house is a block and a half from the entrance to Crescent Park that allows you to walk along the Mississippi River. Being a block from the river we always have a nice breeze in our yard even on the hottest of days.
What makes this House unique
The Bywater is a neighborhood where people know their neighbors and everyone is friendly. It is full with excellent neighborhood restaurants & bars. If you want to go for a swim The Country Club is a few blocks away and for a small fee you can use their climate controlled pool year round.

Would definitely stay again!
This is a very well-appointed and comfortable property. The neighborhood is quaint and walkable to local businesses, but also a block from access to the river walk from the Bywater neighborhood to the French Quarter. A beautiful 20 minute walk! Dia and Tony were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I’m a native of the area who has been transplanted to Wisconsin for 30 years, so I have rented many different properties over the years, while returning to visit and I would definitely rent this one again!
The house and porch and water pressure and beds were all perfect!
Adorable home, great area
Dia and Tony have an excellent little place that was our perfect "home base" for a family vacation that included a baby. They went out of their way to make our trip as simple as possible, even purchasing a portable crib for the house (!!!), and being full of suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked, and in an area where I felt safe to walk around as a group, or on my own, between restaurants or other local venues. We'd definitely recommend it for any couple or small family looking for a place to stay that is far enough away from the French Quarter to not be crazy, but still in an area that is full of character and things to do.
Best of Bywater
Had a truly incredible time staying at Dia & Tony's lovely home in Bywater! It was so convenient, welcoming, spacious and clean. Dia & Tony came full of recommendations (all of which we gladly took) and the kindest hospitality. The neighborhood is simply the best - colorfully rich with soul & culture, perfect to walk around, convenient and full of local spots like Elizabeth's, Bywater Bakery, The Joint, Vaughn's, Bacchanal, & so many more. Would highly highly recommend! Thanks again guys!
Great Place, Great Location
Dia and Tony were so helpful. They showed us around our first night, and that prepped us perfectly for the rest of our stay. The house was wonderful and in such a convenient location; we often walked to and from the French Quarter and (as two women) even felt safe doing so at night. We definitely enjoyed what the Bywater had to offer—The Country Club, Elizabeth's, The Joint, Bacchanal, Bywater Bakery, and Pizza Delicious. Overall, awesome stay!
Cute and functional
My mom and I stayed with Dia Feb 20-24. From booking to check out Dia was fantastic!! She even took time out of her day to show us around Bywater, take us to the grocery store, and along crescent park. The home is beautifully furnished and lot of print outs for places to eat. The area is large. Only a 15 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the convention center (or you can walk in about 35-40).
I would highly recommend staying at this home, and I’ll be contacting Dia if I ever make it back down to New Orleans for a place to stay!
Located in the heart of the Bywater within walking distance of the French Quarter & the Marigny (Frenchmen Street). Don't like to walk - the #5 bus, Uber or taxi will have you to the Quarter in minutes. Plenty of parking spaces by our house. Entrance to the beautiful riverfront Crescent Park is just around the corner. Want to sip some wine & listen to music, Bacchanal is 6 blocks away. Want to sample some praline bacon, Elizabeth's is 4 blocks away. Want to go for a swim, the Country Club has a climate controlled pool & is accessible to anyone for a small fee. Want to sample New Orleans best Pizza, Pizza Delicious is 5 blocks away. Faubourg Wines, our favorite wine store is in the neighborhood & has free wine tastings every Wednesday. Belong to Anytime Fitness, there is one located just around the corner.
