About Dia Napolitano
Born & raised in NOLA. We love our city.
Dia Napolitano purchased this House in 2013
Why Dia Napolitano chose Bywater
I grew up uptown & have always loved the tall ceilings, wood floors, ceiling fans and the charm of these old houses. We love to entertain & this property has a large side yard. We love that we can walk to the Marigny & the French Quarter. The house is a block and a half from the entrance to Crescent Park that allows you to walk along the Mississippi River. Being a block from the river we always have a nice breeze in our yard even on the hottest of days.
What makes this House unique
The Bywater is a neighborhood where people know their neighbors and everyone is friendly. It is full with excellent neighborhood restaurants & bars. If you want to go for a swim The Country Club is a few blocks away and for a small fee you can use their climate controlled pool year round.

Three of us came for a weekend and this was the perfect place for us. Very quiet and very safe! Relaxing and enjoyable weekend! Dia and Tony were easy to work with and had good information. Beds were very comfortable!! I would highly recommend this place!!
Perfect Place for me to stay.
The Bywater is a great place to stay while in New Orleans. Walkable to the French Quarter. The house comes with snacks and coffee. This makes the stay that much easier.
We loved it! We shall return. Cute, clean, convenient, and the best host and hostess ever.
Being a frequent VRBO customer, I was so impressed with all this rental and the neighborhood offered. I
Great quiet neighborhood. About a 15 minute lift drive to the convention center.
We had a Great time 3 girls stayed comfortably for a conference in NOLA. Dia was hospitable and had coffee, water and a few snacks waiting for us. The house was an100 year old home remodeled and was clean and comfortable. No need to bring towels or linens. Dia had a map and brochures for us to look at. She came over to meet me and say hello. The first day she even took me to the grocery store and around the neighborhood to get us set for the next few days. The trolley will take you into the convention center but it is about a 1 mile walk from this house. You can get on bus #5 to get to trolley but we took lifts in to cut down on time. Frenchman street is nearby and can be walked to. The house is in a artsy old town neighborhood. We had no problems with getting in or checking out! She has all the details layed out for you. A great place and you get a feel for the city instead of staying just at a hotel. Thank you! The only thing that would have been great is a full size mirror to help with getting ready in the mornings! There’s a hot tub in the back yard which we didn’t get to use but it looked super fun! Dia is an amazing hostess!!!! Thank you!
Cozy, clean, safe
We loved this little house! It is just as pictured, very cute and clean and comfortable. We had never been in this part of New Orleans before, it was very fun to explore the neighborhood. We had food and wine at the most wonderful place, Bacchanal, that is only a few blocks away. The home felt so safe, and was a very inexpensive cab or uber ride to the quarter. Dia is terrific, she answered all our questions, gave us a tour of the neighborhood, and left a ton of valuable information for us. Would ABSOLUTELY stay again! I would note that it's a small home, perfect for two people but might be crowded for more than that. It's stocked with everything one could possibly need (although we did kind of wish we had a full length mirror). She even supplied coffee, water bottles, tea, chips, sugar....linens, towels, etc. This rental did not disappoint in any way. Highly recommend.
Comfortable house in the heart of the Bywater neighborhood
Dia & Tony were very friendly and helpful hosts with tons tips & fact about NOLA as well as neighborhood sights/must try things. This is a very comfy house with everything you need, plus lots of extras. Its very close to the bus line or about a 1.5 mile walk/bike ride to the French Quarter. If visiting NOLA, I highly recommend staying here and checking out all the little neighborhood gems, brewery, pizza, art, stores etc...
Located in the heart of the Bywater within walking distance of the French Quarter & the Marigny (Frenchmen Street). Don't like to walk - the #5 bus, Uber or taxi will have you to the Quarter in minutes. Plenty of parking spaces by our house. Entrance to the beautiful riverfront Crescent Park is just around the corner. Want to sip some wine & listen to music, Bacchanal is 6 blocks away. Want to sample some praline bacon, Elizabeth's is 4 blocks away. Want to go for a swim, the Country Club has a climate controlled pool & is accessible to anyone for a small fee. Want to sample New Orleans best Pizza, Pizza Delicious is 5 blocks away. Faubourg Wines, our favorite wine store is in the neighborhood & has free wine tastings every Wednesday. Belong to Anytime Fitness, there is one located just around the corner.
