Our recently renovated modern designed 2 bedroom condo is located in Hastings on the south coast of Barbados. It is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants and being on the boardwalk allows for an enjoyable stroll along the beautiful beach. the balcony overlooks the pool and a spectacular sea view and the sunsets are to die for. Guests have access to public transportation as they are buses that travel on this coast very frequently. It is a 15 to 20 minute drive from the airport

Great condo, great location!

Well appointed with the essentials and extras. Coffee and sugar on hand;) the pool noodles, chairs and umbrella were a much appreciated touch. This is a great location and excellent condo.

Perfect home for our family of 4!

This was such a perfect vacation for us and our 9 and 11-year-old boys. Close to great restaurants. Multiple beaches to go to. And Roseanne was so organized and prepared and kept our minds at ease. The unit is beautiful and has everything you could need for the beach - towels, chairs, a cooler, bugspray, coffee, condiments. It's super easy to access plus it comes with a parking spot right outside the unit! We were pleasantly surprised with a carafe of fresh rum punch and several Carib beers, as well as bottles of water. Amazing views. The room that the boys slept in faced the road and it was a bit noisy at night with those funny bus horns, but we simply turned up the white noise function on one of our cells phones in their room and they slept well. Thank you Roseanne and Doug!

Paradise by the sea!!!

This is a return visit for us. This gem of a place cannot be beat. The condo is well appointed, the location is spectacular and the sea breeze defies words. You have direct access to the boardwalk, restaurants and beach. Rosanne and Doug are exceptional hosts. We will certainly go back!!! Thanks for everything!

Beautiful Condo with Private Pool on the waterfront

Rosanne and Doug were wonderful hosts, accommodating and communicative during our rescheduling as a result of hurricane Beryl. The apartment is well appointed with everything you'll need for a beach holiday! The building felt safe and clean, direct access to the boardwalk was secure and convenient!

Lovely Barbados Stay

Rosanne and Doug were awesome hosts. The place was immaculate and the surprise in the fridge when we arrived was a great, much needed touch. Close to beaches, bars and restaurant. Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful condo!

AMAZING & UNFORGETTABLE ACCOMODATION !!

We chose Rosanne & Doug's apartment from the description & photographs shown on line and it was just (perhaps even better ) than was advertised !!! Wonderful views of the south coast seas & sunsets , spotlessly clean and with everything there to make it a true home from home ! R & D truly are super super hosts and we would highly recommend everyone to this little piece of holiday heaven !!

Impeccable Comfort, Convenience and Cleanliness Combined!

This condo is conveniently located. I would give it a very high walk score. The hosts were very thoughtful,, friendly and helpful. The kitchen, bathrooms and rest of condo were well stocked and considered. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, I'm a bit of a clean freak and NOTHING repulsed me...nothing! Great beaches and great restaurants within walking distance. We changed locations 12 days into our trip to try another area and we missed South Oceans Villas, 203 immediately! We will be back!

South Ocean Villa VRBO home was everything and more!

Our hosts were very warm,welcoming and helpful. They invited us to contact them at any time if issues arose. The condo itself was lovely and immaculate. The kitchen was fully equipped and we really appreciated the fridge which provided filtered water and ready made ice cubes. The complimentary bottle of chilled Bajan Rum punch was a real treat! Stunning views, excellent location,secure well-maintained property, and welcoming hosts all contributed to a fantastic vacation in Barbados.

Superb Sea View

From the first minute we felt at home in the property. A superb sea view to enjoy the sunset every night. In addition the beach and boardwalk was only 2 minutes from the apartment through a private entrance. Roseanne & Doug provided a very comprehensive set of instructions both before arriving and in a guide at the property and were on hand if we needed anything. This was our 6th visit to Barbados and the 1st not in a hotel and this was by far the best. The property had all the facilities you'd expect if you wanted to cook for yourself with a small supermarket about 15mins away. If you wanted to eat out there were numerous places all within a 10 minute walk which was very convenient. If you wanted to stay at the property there was a lovely private area with sunbeds and a small swimming pool that was excellent. We also walked a long the boardwalk and enjoyed sunbeds at Rockley Beach at the end of the boardwalk. It was so enjoyable that we are already discussing returning next year. :) Jim & Jac

We had a wonderful 5 days at the condo! It is idyllic! Right on the ocean- the most beautiful view-we went to sleep & woke to the sound of the waves! Access to the private beach, right at the back of the building is wonderful and Rosanne & Doug have equipped the condo with everything you need! The boardwalk is perfect for a walk and provides access to a range of restaurants and local shopping. Everyone was friendly and Doug & Rosanne stopped by to meet us and made sure we had some must haves (coffee,milk, coconut bread) as we arrived late in the evening. The space was truly our home away from home while there. It is bright, welcoming and so peaceful. The building is secured and the unit is newly renovated. The pool area is also very nice if you want a break from the sand ☺️ We are looking forward to our next time!

Absolute Bliss

South Ocean Villas was just what we needed on a winter sun break from the UK. The welcome from our hosts was lovely and very personable and the villa was home from home - so very comfortable. Location and amenities were fantastic - access to the boardwalk was just outside. Information pack outlining all local facilities and snippets of inside information for the local area was a great touch too. We would highly recommend South Ocean Villas for anyone contemplating a visit to the south coast. We will definitely be back!

Awesome spot

We had a great stay in this beautiful condo. Location was excellent, we did not need a car for our short 5-day stay. It was nice to be on the boardwalk for easy access to beaches and restaurants. The property was comfortable and quiet. The pool was never busy, and was a nice spot to cool off and relax. Rosanne was very welcoming, and communication was excellent despite our last-minute booking. We would gladly stay here again!

Fabulous stay in Hastings, Christchurch

We had a 16 night holiday in Barbados, spending the first couple of nights in St Lawrence Gap, then a week in a hotel resort in St James on west coast, before our stay in South Ocean Villas in Hastings. This was a perfect way to spend our final week in Barbados. By this time we were missing the independence and flexibility of having our own catering - and laundry - facilities, which the apartment accommodated perfectly. It was spotless and spacious. The location was ideal - a few steps from the pool area directly onto the Richard Haynes Boardwalk, nearby beaches and beachside restaurants. The view from the apartment was exactly as per photos in the Vrbo pics - we enjoyed watching the sunset. The beds are quite firm and the room at the front by the main road is subject to road noise particularly from morning traffic but we were so relaxed that this was not a huge problem. It was a 2 min walk to the Dread or Dead surf school (recommended for beginners’ surf lessons) and we also had a super enjoyable catamaran day tour with captain Nick and crew on his Calypso catamaran. We walked everywhere and did not need a car. In the evenings we had movie night on the comfy sofa and huge smart TV. Rosanne and Doug were great hosts and communicated brilliantly. We were very grateful that they allowed us a late checkout before a late flight back to the UK. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing property!

We had a fantastic stay at the condo-it’s right on the boardwalk with a beautiful view of Accra beach. From the moment you walk in,it’s a comfortable place with a large living area,great kitchen,but the main attraction is the perfect sitting area looking out onto the ocean. Our hosts Doug & Rosanne were so friendly and gracious,you could not ask for better! It’s close to shopping,restaurants,bars and a car is really not needed unless you want to go exploring the island. A five star experience,we are returning next year!

Amazing stay!

Our family of three (2 adults + 1 child) had the pleasure of staying at Rosanne and Doug's condo. The location was perfect, we enjoyed the incredible views, beach, sounds of the ocean and sunsets. We were within walking distance to everything we needed and loved our walks on the boardwalk. The condo was stocked with everything we needed and was super clean. Communication with the host was excellent and check-in was a breeze, we truly can't wait to return. What a gem of a spot!

Perfect in every way

The location is perfect. The boardwalk in front is perfect for walks. The balcony is perfect for sunsets. A small beach next door is perfect for a refreshing dip in the Caribbean. Beautiful ocean front condo

We loved this place from the moment we walked in and opened the patio doors to the gorgeous Caribbean Sea! How I loved sitting there, with my coffee or glass of wine, watching and listening to the waves. This is a beautifully decorated and exceedingly comfortable living space with all kinds of thoughtful extras to welcome you and make you feel at home. Situated on the Richard Haynes Boardwalk, extending from the Accra Beach to just past this site, the Villa was ideally located for my husband who jogs and for my mother who uses a walker/wheelchair for distances. The boardwalk allowed my mother to feel as if she was strolling on the beach! Restaurants and stores are all in walking distance and it is also easy to commute to other desirable locations by bus or taxi or by rented car (the suite includes a designated parking space). The elevator was very helpful for my mom allowing easy accessibility to the lovely terrace and wading pool below and just a few stairs down to the boardwalk. Best of all, each time we returned from one of our sightseeing excursions, I felt that we were indeed returning to one of the loveliest spots of all! The only other thing that could exceed the most gracious amenities was the warmth and helpfulness of our hosts!

Excellent Hosts and Location!

Excellent property, beautiful views, and key location. We loved our time here and will definitely return! Very close to Brandon’s surf break, within walking distance, and bars. The hosts were a pleasure to work with and really thought of everything to make our stay easy and pleasurable!

We offer self check in with a lock box and a 48 hour timeline between guests. I clean the condo myself. The entire villa is opened, aired and fully sanitized paying special attention to the high touch areas. All linen is washed and dried on the highest heat settings. We also provide: alcohol based hand sanitizer, disinfectant cleaners, hand soap, New cleaning and dishwashing clothes, paper towels, wipes and tissues.
