This home is popular for family reunions. Fishing is made easy off the dock. Feel free to bring a boat to enjoy miles of waterways with beautiful scenery. This property comes with kayaks, canoes and fishing poles. It is located 12 minutes outside The Villages, which is a popular town full of shopping and other activities. This home is one hour away from the Atlantic coast to the well known Daytona beach. Situated in the Ocala National Forest, this property has stunning views of nature.

Getaway

Beautiful clean and spacious home. Whole bottom floor is wheelchair accessible. Communication with owner was great. Definately a place to come back to.

Absolute great place. Only disappointment was according to the pictures there was a blackstone griddle which we planned our meals as having one. A small negative for an incredible place and location

Home is large and roomy. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are a plus. Fun fishing from the dock. Nice secluded location.

Family Thanksgiving 2024

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful home on the river. Lots of fishing, sunsets, we even had an engagement proposal. This property is close to the villages and tons of fun places to visit.

Beautiful Quiet Cabin

We enjoyed our stay. Place is spacious and clean. We hang out in the back and did some fishing. Very nice place.

Great get away location.

We spent time here with family for a 60th birthday. We had 10 adults and this property exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return.

Hurricane Milton evacuation

Gorgeous and Comfortable

My daughter’s wedding was being held at Doe Lake, this amazing cabin is where they stayed and the bridal party got dressed! The cabin’s location was perfect, as well as it’s amenities! Communication with the property manager was very smooth! Now we want to stay there again just to relax!

Peaceful, secluded and spacious

My entire family had a wonderful stay. The oven was our only issue- it worked but was challenging; the host said the part has been ordered to repair that problem. The host was very responsive to all my questions/needs. Entire property extremely clean. Would absolutely stay here again!

Family and friends birthday party for our dog.

Peaceful!

Our family spent 4 days at this property and we all enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and warming. The dock and outside screened in cooking and lounging area was fabulous! The hosts thought of everything to make our stay picture perfect! We will be returning without a doubt.

True hidden gem

Who would have thought we were still in Florida?! We had an amazing stay in this beautiful gem of a house. Perfectly secluded and allowed us to end the year on a high note without the busyness of city life. The property owner was great! He responded fast to any questions and provided a great bit on information for things to do nearby. Hanging on the doc and relaxing was an added bonus! Definitely hope to come back again!

Destination Wedding

We could not have been happier with our stay. The cabin is so charming and comfortable with all the conveniences. This was a family get together to prepare for our daughters wedding. We had all the day of wedding things scheduled at the home. Hair and makeup, photography and videography. Being right on the water was just what we needed to relax and enjoy the nature that surrounds this home. We are definitely hoping to stay here again.

Nice place

We had two families on this trip. The house was nice, the gas stove was difficult to operate. The WIFI was VERY slow, But I heard they are getting a new service in the future. The dock was nice with a nice outdoor area, but we found it not good for launching a canoe or kayak.

Not clean

Overall the house is nice It has a lot of potential for a great experience but not clean. Kitchen cabinets are disgusting. Refrigerator was also not well cleaned. We one day early, I’m a very picky person when it comes to vacation homes,, I will definitely not come back to this one.

Get away from the busy city!

6 friends and I rented the house for a boys weekend on Labor Day weekend. The check process was seamless. The house is sick! PLENTY of space and 7 actual mattresses, but trust me…. You wanna sleep on the couch it’s soft as clouds. We spent a good amount of time in the outhouse grilling, watching college football and playing games. There is a boat ramp 4 minutes north of the property if you’re looking to drop a boat in. Ocala shooting ranger is 25 minutes away and free. The self serve skeet station was a blast. Silver springs was only 30 minutes away. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Would definitely revisit! The only thing that would make this better is a hot tub and dedicated fire pit.

Celebration Wedding weekend!

Our sons wedding got relocated with just weeks before the wedding from Virginia to Free Florida due to all the covid restrictions in place still up north. I found this little gem close to the new venue (protea events and wedding venue) and got to work on the rehearsal dinner and after wedding brunch! What to say?! First the owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating - he met us at the house several weeks in advance so we could look at the property and prepare to host 35 guest for a rehearsal dinner! The “as advertised” pictures do not do this house or property nearly the the justice it deserves - the house is wide open large spacious and BEAUTIFUL - well stocked with towels to dishes- the kitchen has everything you need. Outside the little dock house was the big hit! With a grill and griddle and large tv it was the evening hang out spot ! Down at the dock the owner had graciously placed canoe and fishing poles and chairs- we had breakfast here every morning .. peaceful and lovely. Our event went with out a hitch! We so enjoyed our time and will look at calendar to plan another get away! Amazing memorial event and weekend! Can you give a 6 star review? Thanks asa for everything!

Christmas Together

This home provided everything thing we could have wished for. The fireplace was generously used during our stay and added an extra warmth to our Holiday. Loved the Christmas tree and other holiday touches. Made it feel like home. The large island kitchen provided room for everyone to lend a hand prepping, cooking and serving all our meals. The dining room worked double duty as a great place for all our card and board games. Plenty of fresh towels, lines and blankets. The screened deck house was perfect for our grilling and hanging out on the water. All three generations of us agreed this will be remembered as a very special Christmas. Grandma Pat
