This newly renovated chandeliered suite contains a full kitchen, large double-headed shower and spacious bathroom, full kitchen, huge walk-in closet which can be used to put a twin bed , would also work as great bridal dressing room, bamboo hardwood floors, giant king bed, double French doors open out to private area overlooking lush lawns and garden with a backdrop of spectacular mountains and beautiful sunsets every evening!

Private bamboo-screened patio and hot tub. With brand new BBQ and all the equipment outside on the patio with the view. 5 minute walk to fine dining "Malibu Café" at Calamagos Ranch, amazing food and atmosphere with sitting out side, weekends live music, games a lot of fun!
Hike in the spectacular Santa Monica Mountains., beach 12min drive to the sand, casual to fine restaurants.
Our ranch we own 5 horses and Colin would be happy to guests out on a beautiful trail ride from experienced to beginner riders. $100 hour per person $50 additional hours.

Malibu hilltop haven

We absolutely loved our stay at Colin and Susan’s guest suite, we found ourselves wishing we had gotten to spend more time at the property itself! The hot tub and hammock overlooking the mountains were amazing amenities, we had so much fun horseback riding with Colin and Maura, and the suite was exactly as pictured. Susan even provided some basic groceries in the fridge. Highly recommend, wonderful hosts of a wonderful property!

Incredible stay!

This couldn’t have been a better stay! My only regret is not coming for longer. Susan was super communicative and everything was exactly as described. Our dog had a wonderful time as well. We were attending a wedding at Calamigos ranch and it was literally across the street and more than half the price of staying on sight. We definitely will be back again, thank you Susan!

The Malibu Hills and an inspirational host!

This is a beautiful property, clean, private and with every luxury you would need. On top of that Colin, our host, was such an amazing character who we instantly connected with. His story has “box office” hit all over it, a charming man who’s life’s journey has just been like a best selling novel! A big shout out to Susan too who prepared our cottage and provided an abundance of lovely essentials and more! You will love this place and we will be back!

Colin owner purchased the 3 acre ranch in 1990 with his now late wife Linda. This "Aussie" has lots passion for life, love for Horses, founder of "The Astrailian Stock Saddle Company", introduced the saddle to American!
Colin continues to reside on the premises, handcrafts his saddles, "rides like the man from snowy river", accompany with 5 horses, 2 friendly dogs, a very large tortoise.
Colin is one the most interesting people you will ever meet and very gracious. Also, resides with an amazing woman name Susan Co-host with Colin, grew up in Malibu, loves horses, kids, gardening, interior decorator !

The gardens are gorgeous, lots of greenery, Colins passion for beauty he has personally planet every tree, bush, 3000 bulbs that bloom in the spring. The 5 star master suite with full kitchen, decorated by Susan. High quality bedding, towels, furniture that has a spa feel, some bohemian relaxing beach vibe. The amenities every woman, couple and small family (child/dog friendly/bring your horse). Join us in "the great room" high voted beem ceilings, large exquisite fireplace and try to beat Colin in ping pong!! We enjoy meeting people.

unique view of the mountains and you are surrounded by lush greenery and an array of flowers!
The amenities accommodate a romantic getaway for a couple with a California King very comfortable bed with the best linens or girls weekend or small family with added twin bed (child/dog friendly/bring your horse). We provide lots of extras from breakfast items in the kitchen along with white & red wines, drinks, water, coffee, cream, teas, hot water pot and all utensils to cook, BBQ outside. Bathroom incl., q tips, cotton balls, fresh white robes & towels, incense, make up mirror, hair dyer We have beach towels, chairs & ice chest. Lrg. closet/dressing room and more....dog dishes, very clean and fresh. Always fresh flowers from our garden. High speed Internet, stream live Netflicks and Amazon Prime. Dim the chandelier, read the reviews and join "the experience" as the property is very unique. We have 7 horses and offer private trails rides, wine tasting, hiking and 5 minute walk to the famous "Malibu Cafe" which is gorgeous. 2 outside bars and dining. Sundays live music and outside games. Calimiagos Ranch they have the Wellness center if you want a massage, facial and other services.
10 minute to PCH for fine dining and the beaches. Private parking at the front door.
