Marina Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

The condo has marble floors throughout, and both bathrooms have tubs surrounded by gorgeous marble. The tubs were custom built as were the sink areas. Sinks are marble with polished nickel fixtures. Painting is fresh and there is a dishwasher, air conditioning, 42' flat screen television in the living room and a 32" in the bedroom, and washer and dryer. The condo was always comfortable and cozy, and now it has a little more 'sparkle.'

Enjoy views from one of two decks in this unique 1 bedroom - 2 bath condominium. This 2nd floor Condo grants you a view of the harbor and city lights, as well as a partial view of the serenity of the Pacific. The unit is located near the parking lot and office, which makes carrying groceries very convenient. The walk to the pool takes about 60 seconds, or you can hitch a ride on the golf cart (certainly not necessary, but fun).

This spacious unit is brightly painted, supplied with adequate linens, and can sleep up to 4 people. The bedroom has a Sealy posturepedic King size bed, new sectional sofa, and there is an inflatable twin and queen size mattress in the pantry. Thanks to hurricane Odile, we now have stacking sliding doors (allowing for an eight foot opening rather than four), a window seat in the bedroom, a new glass top stove, and gorgeous travertine slab countertops. Hurricane shutters to be installed in July, 2016, which will prevent any future storm damage.

Terrasol is one of the few serene and private locations in Cabo, yet is a mere 5 minute walk to the center of town. Morning coffee is a treat as you sit on the chairs on the back deck overlooking the Pacific. The evening view of the Harbour and city lights is spectacular.

Terrasol is located at the farthest tip of the Baja. It is nestled between 2 resorts, but the beach is extremely private and no one but owners and guests may use our facilities. There are no vendors. Excercise equipment is limited, but a walk on the beach can also be a challenging workout.

Different seasons offer different activities and climates in Cabo. The weather is magnificent in October, when the 'season begins.' Days are very warm and nights are cool. November offers the fishing tournaments again with very warm days and cool nights. Christmas is a wonderful time in Cabo with lights, decorations, and even fireworks. Take a jacket, it gets a little brisk at night. From January to May the weather is spectacular. You can sunbathe during the day and be extremely comfortable at night. Air conditioning is not necessary until the heat of the deep summer.

Parking is available on-site (at the rate of $5 per day), or taxis await you at the gate. Security and privacy are outstanding; the staff more than helpful.

Daily maid service is available, upon request and payment. The condo will be cleaned before and after stay.

About The Owner

As the kids grew up, I found I needed a place to relax from a very rewarding but stressful job. I love my job, and now I love my time away from it as well.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2005

Why The Owner chose Cabo San Lucas

I discovered Cabo in 1996 and was immediately 'hooked.' I bought a time share and didn't use it for a while. A few years later, I went to Cabo three times in the same year...a time share and hotel were not sufficient. In 2004 I made an offer on my condo. Because I knew of Terrasol, I went to closing without ever seeing my 'purchase.' I knew Terrasol was a treasure, and it didn't matter what the condo looked like. With a little paint and elbow grease it would be fine. Well, I invested a little more than paint, but plenty of elbow grease, and the condo is pretty wonderful these days.

What makes this condo unique

Terrasol is located on the very end of the Baja on a private beach. There are few resorts, hotels, or even private condos that have the features Terrasol does. It is a life within itself. The staff has been around for a long time. They remember my guests and treat them very well. It is truly a home away from home. Most of my guests return each year, and it has become part theirs. They treat my home as if it was their own. It would be nice for all of us to get together in Cabo at the same time!!

Comments from previous renters:

Carol. You can use our name ,address, and what ever. ****We loved staying

at your condo. Do to the fact our weeks were rented is the reason we decided

to rent at your place at" Terrasol". Right next door to "Solmar" where we own.

You have priced your condo very fairly. There was only two of us but ample

space for two more or a whole family. Your condo is very large and has a

great location. The condo has a very large living room and kitchen with two

baths. No stairs to climb to get to your place and privatley located. Fully

contained with washer and dryer and all kitchen appliances. The bed was very

comfortable and large. We loved the two different views and you have a

great view of Medano beach. We love the privacy of this beach and Terrasol

has two large swimming pools . We have been coming to Cabo for the past 10

years and would stay at your place again if needed. It is a very quiet place to

stay with the conveniance of walking to town.We would highly recommned

your condo for anyone coming to stay in Cabo. You were very easy to rent

from and communicate with. Sincery Joe and Vickie

Excellent vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Carol's unit was for 9 days and we enjoyed every minute of it. it was a real treat to overlap with her when we first arrived and have her show us all of the changes she has made since the hurricane. The sliding glass doors which opened up the living room to the outside world were particularly wonderful.

She gave us some suggestions of great places to eat.....but we were so comfortable in her place we never ate elsewhere for dinner once!

Carol was one of the best hostesses we have experienced with VRBO and that made our stay 5 star.

We never missed a sunset on the beach, saw the results of the baby turtles hatching, walked everywhere (to the fish shop, the grocery store) and toured the Marina daily.

We will be back!

Nice stay!

  • 4 of 5

We rented Carol's condo for a few days of our honeymoon trip. Carol was great with communications and a pleasure to work with. The condo is plenty large with a big couch in the living area and a nice king sized bed in the bedroom. The two patios were nice for enjoying different views. We had everything we needed in the condo. Didn't really use the kitchen much, as we enjoyed the great Cabo restaurants. The resort is lovely, the pool area and palapa bar were great - super service and quiet, right on the ocean. The resort is up on a hill, very walkable to town, but away from the noise of the city. Cons were minimal - as in a previous review the back glass patio door was contacting the floor and the condo's water pressure was not consistent throughout. All in all, a great stay!

A great vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was my second stay in Carol's unit. It truly is one of the best spots in Cabo! Carol had everything I needed to make myself at home...full kitchen, dishes, plenty of towels, including beach towels for the pool and a large selection of books that I enjoyed reading on the patio in the evening. Each patio has a beautiful view and I spent many days walking the beach and enjoying the pool. The marina with great restaurants was a short walk away and I took the bus into town a few times for groceries )breakfast and snacks). As a solo traveler I felt very safe in the gated complex. I can't wait to come back!

Very nice property.

  • 4 of 5

Carol; We enjoyed staying at your "home away from home" For us it is the perfect size. We like the fact that it is so close to downtown. We tend to walk a lot which helps wearing of the food and adult beverages! There are a few things that would make staying more enjoyable in the future. These are things that did not affect us so much as it might affect other folks.

1. Water pressure in the sinks is low and you mentioned that in your letter. We did not use the dishwasher which you also mentioned as we did not cook. Why cook when the Palapa is so close?? The pressure is fine in the one shower we used and in the washer so I suspect it has something to with the way everything is plumbed.

2.The kitchen faucet is very loose. I could have fixed it if I had tools!

3. I would strongly recommend fixing the patio door where it scrapes on the threshold. It would not be hard to fix. At some point in the future the bottom edge of that door will pull loose and then the dollars will add up.

4. Non-skid mats in the bathroom by the shower would be a good idea. We both took a tumble in the bathroom. wet feet / slick floor.

(we are OK and we will be back). Having said all of that we love the place.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your input, and I can guarantee that I take each item very seriously. As we discussed, there was an issue with the kitchen faucet, which has been replaced and resolved. Dishwasher control panel burned out and has been replaced. Due to the hurricane of Oct 2014, many of the appliances were exposed to salt water and a tremendous amount of sand, so they are slowly breaking down...but, will be addressed and repaired or replaced. The back door has been raised and resolved. I am so sorry that you slipped, marble is unforgiving. I have some bath mats in the pantry, but unfortunately they are sometimes put away. I would have guided you to them. My guests' safety is paramount. Thank you for choosing my place in the past, now, and again in the future.

A wonderful week in Cabo!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Carol's unit. It was very comfortable. The unit is just as Carol describes, and she is very easy to work with. The kitchen and utensils were ideal for fixing breakfasts and happy hour snacks in the afternoon. We walked into town and to the marina daily. If you are looking for a quiet location with great pools, an uncrowded beach, and in close proximity to the marina and town, this is your spot.

Nice & Relaxing!

  • 4 of 5

First of all, I'd like to say how wonderful it was to work with Carol. I had a few questions and she called me back immediately. She is very proud of her condo and she has every reason to be. It's very clean and comfortable. It felt like home. The bed! Oh my gosh, the bed! It was amazing! We had the window open at night listening to the sounds of the marina. Always a nice cool breeze coming in. We slept like babies! Some nights the marina could get a bit loud, but we always had the option of closing the window and turning on the air. We really liked the location. It is right across from the office which made the walk to town/marina very easy. Having the two decks was also really nice. From the front, you could watch the fishing boats leaving the marina in the morning. From the back, you could see the Pacific. We really enjoyed this condo. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
