Angel Fire Home en el lago Monte Verde y vista de Wheeler Peak

‘LakeHaven’ es nuestra casa de montaña / lago ubicada en el lago Monte Verde, con una vista inigualable del pico Wheeler y del lago. Un lugar maravilloso durante todo el año para relajarse y disfrutar de su entorno. Puede disfrutar de deportes de verano o de invierno, caminar, pescar, ir en canoa o simplemente sentarse junto al fuego o en la terraza y leer un buen libro. No importa lo que elija, 'Lake Haven' es el lugar para disfrutar. El espacioso salón tiene una hermosa chimenea en un extremo y un televisor en el otro. La gran cubierta de la sala de estar da al lago y a las montañas, donde podrá relajarse, tomar un café o un chocolate caliente o incluso cenar. A menudo, verás ciervos, alces, pavos y otros animales salvajes. La cocina está completamente equipada y tiene una mesa para 4 donde puede sentarse y, a menudo, ver ciervos, alces o pavos. El comedor tiene capacidad para 10 y tiene una hermosa vista de la zona boscosa en el lado izquierdo de nuestra propiedad. Cuatro de las cinco habitaciones tienen vistas espectaculares del lago y las montañas. En la planta principal se encuentra el dormitorio principal con una cama king size. Al otro lado del pasillo hay un pequeño dormitorio con una cama doble. Hay un baño completo con ducha ubicado arriba cerca de las habitaciones. En la planta baja hay tres dormitorios (los dos dormitorios finales tienen camas queen size). Con el dormitorio del medio con una cama doble con una litera doble en la parte superior y una cama gemela spererate también. También hay un lavadero totalmente equipado ubicado en la planta baja y un baño completo con bañera / ducha. El garaje tiene una mesa de ping-pong para albergar una competencia amistosa. La tracción en las cuatro ruedas no es necesaria, ya que tenemos un camino plano y carreteras a la casa. El acceso rápido y fácil a todo en Angel Fire, incluida la montaña de esquí, está a unos 5 a 10 minutos en automóvil. El lago Monte Verde es un lago privado con muchas actividades. Septic issues.

We had to leave within 2 hours as the septic was not working. It was around 5 PM when we discovered the problem. We had to relocate to a hotel & found another place to go to the following day. However, that meant over 24 hours of chaos with 2 small children. While the owner was helpful, this has made me realize rentals have major issues which are not easily solved. Also, TV never worked.

Cozy Winter Home with amazing views of Wheeler Peak!

We enjoyed our ski vacation in Angel Fire and coming home to this beautiful and cozy home! Was well appointed, having everything we needed. You’ll love the views of Wheeler Peak and it’s just a short drive to the resort. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

Mountain Get-Away

Property is in a great location right off of the lake that is an easy walk even carrying fishing equipment. Large house with plenty of room for family and friends. Lots of wildlife in the area. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Great location on the lake

Really enjoyed our stay. Got 20" of snow so that helped too. House overlooks the lake, which was frozen over and snow covered. Although house was fairly clean, there was trash under furniture and cobwebs in kitchen. Kitchen was fully stocked. Zero complaints. Owner was responsive to messages.

Great Mountain Get-away

This was a perfect property for our needs. It's right outside of Angel Fire, so skiing is very accessible. The lake, while mostly frozen over at the time, is within shouting distance. It's also a great point if you're looking to visit the whole Enchanted Circle. Everything was very fresh and clean. The kitchen is huge! We made full use of the sleds and ping pong table which are included. We also saw plenty of deer and birds walk right up to the house, which was thrilling. Overall, this was a fantastic spot to host our family with 6 adults and 2 kids

Beautiful views! We had a crow come visit every morning and knock on the window. My son loved the bunk house and the ping pong table.

Great spring break trip!

Great trip to Angel Fire. House is just a short drive to everything and is well- appointed. Had everything and more to cook all week and was plenty of room for 2 families of 4. Kids enjoyed the bunk room with games and there were plenty of movies to watch after a day a skiing. Location on the lake is perfect for any season- very pretty! Would definitely stay again!

Family Ski trip

The property is very cute and spacious and the location was perfect, not to mention the views. Everyone from the kids to adults enjoyed it, it felt very homey. The property is very well equipped with kitchen utensils, blankets, towels etc. plus lots of board games to play for most ages. The instructions for check in were very easy to understand and communication with the owner was great. We will definitely come back on our future ski trips!

Very Memorable and Wonderful Family Christmas

First, Lori was amazing working with us on our accommodations and even went through the trouble of putting up Christmas decorations for our stay during the week of Christmas. Lori, Thank you for that. The house was very beautiful, and it even snowed for us Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The view of Monte Verde Lake and the snowcapped mountains was just amazing. The house was very spacious, clean and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely use this house again. Lori, Ya'll have a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and providing our family with wonderful Christmas memories!

Old house

No gas grill,we had to bring our own. 3bedrooms on bottom floor. We had to go up and down the stairs to get to kitchen. The view was beautiful. There are 2 bedrooms on top floor. One of the bedrooms on top floor is as small as a closet no windows. We don’t thing it was worth the money we paid

Lori is a great host, 5 minutes from The mountain.

Lori was a great host. We didn’t have any problems. It snowed around 7-8” during our stay. The driveway was plowed before we left to snowboard that morning. I highly recommend this place for couples, family or big groups. Felt like home! Thanks Lori! We will stay there again for sure!

Excellent location

This rental was amazing!!! So spacious, kid friendly, excellent communication with the owner, wonderful views, just all around an excellent experience. It was especially wonderful to have a binder full of activities for all seasons. Thank you for making our family birthday celebration so wonderful.

Wonderful Group Getaway!

My Group and I all had an amazing time here! This property has so much to offer whether you want to spend a cozy day in, or if you want to have an outdoor adventure this is the place to be. The property provides so many different amenities to where you'll yourself never having a dull moment. The Cabin itself is very cozy and fitted with enough beds for any group to be comfortable in. Lori is very helpful and quick to respond with any questions you may have in regards to your stay, overall I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back in the future!

Relaxing Week with a great view

A beautiful view of the Monte Verde lake with Mt. Wheeler in the background made a great start to every day in this cozy home. We enjoyed a great week with our kids and grandkids (9 of us) staying at Lake Haven. It was just as advertised. We came over Thanksgiving just to spend time with the family. We enjoyed walks around the lake, hikes in the snow, sledding, watching the deer, playing games around the big dinning room table, putting together puzzles on the table in the kitchen, preparing meals in the big kitchen and eating them around the big table and finishing each day sitting by the warm wood fire place. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, staples, coffee and hot chocolate. Having a TV upstairs and downstair was nice. Not many house have a big table for eating together which we enjoyed. The kids enjoyed the ping-pong table in the garages which also has sleds and bikes. Lori was helpful to answers questions before and while we were at the house. Staying in Lake Haven will be a good family memory for us.

Wonderful stay

We loved lake haven. The cabin was immaculately clean, had everything we needed, and the location was beautiful. My kids loved seeing all the wildlife (deers, garden snakes, birds, otters, ducks, elk) from the deck. We had a great stay.

Mountain Lake

Our whole family enjoyed the cabin so much that we immediately scheduled a second visit. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the beds comfortable. We liked its being right on the lake. There was fishing gear in the garage. The kids enjoyed crayfishing. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the beds comfortable. Lori was so thoughtful. We hope to return.

Spring Break Fun before the Virus Shut Down

My family had an excellent time staying here. The home was conveniently located to stores, restaurants, and the ski resort. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and fun in the snow. Lori was wonderful and responded quickly to my messages. I will absolutely stay here again winter and summer. Thank you Lori!!!!

Perfect, if I'm in angel fire again I won't look to stay anywhere else.

We stayed with a large group including small kids. Location was perfect. Close to ski resort yet isolated enough to appreciate the views of the lake and mountains. Kids could sled on a slope just feet away from the house. House was clean and well equipped. Owner was a joy to work with. We all loved our stay.
