Molokai Vacation Properties- Molokai Shores Oceanfront 1/bed

Bedrooms 1
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 - 5 nights

About the property

Oceanfront, stunning view in this gorgeous and inviting newly, remodeled condo. If you never leave the condo, you will still have an amazing vacation. It's relaxation galore and a heavenly setting for your senses. Decorated to the detail with Molokai's finest accents including descriptive breathtaking photographs of the island. For the adventurous, we have a cooler, beach chairs and a blanket with plenty of beach towels to go. Go take in a paradise without the masses of others surrounding you, this is old Hawaii. There are hikes with waterfalls, surfs, fishing boats, diving, snorkeling, whale watching and much more! Don't forget not only does Molokai boast the longest Hawaiian beach, but it boast the worlds highest sea cliffs as filmmakers at Jurassic park know. Visiting Kalapapa National Park is also a must do. Of course, sitting on the deck mesmerized by the view with a cool drink in hand is a guaranteed good time. This has a queen bed in master and sleeper sofa in living Room. Wifi in condo.

Kaunakakai Town is about 2 minute drive and that is where most of the groceries, art shops, gift stores, mini markets, restaurants, equipment rentals and our county offices. The east end of Molokai you will find great little beaches, a playground for the little ones and a small market with takeout foods is a good hour drive. There are many things to see and do on Molokai but most are all outdoors. If you like to paddle rent a kayak or Stand up board and paddle over our barrier reef. Molokai is about entertaining yourselves, although Hotel Molokai on a Friday Night is entertaining itself!

On Molokai's West end you will find some unspoiled beaches. There is Kepuhi Beach and it is great for surfing in the winter months and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer months. Just a short walk from there and over the old golf course is the Papohaku Beach to the longest white sand beach in the state of Hawaii. Very rough in the winter months and cannot swim, but awesome to watch the waves break in and in the summer months great for long ocean swims and shell finding. A short walk to the left brings you to Make Horse with lots of little tide pools for taking a cold tub or letting the little ones catch the little fish. Nice beach hike can be done from Paniolo Hale to the point.

20 minutes take a Cook House with indoor and outdoor seating, the coffee Plantation, Coffees of Hawaii which has a coffee bar and Wi-Fi and a gift shop.. Stop here on your way to doing the Molokai Mule Ride or hike to Kualapaa. Molokai is a great place to get away and Unplug.

SHHHH Hidden Paradise

  • 5 of 5

We truly loved being on Molokai, and so glad that it is quiet, rural and rather a hidden gem.

The unit itself was truly wonderful. It has everything we needed without complaint. Some small stuff, but this is not the units fault - BOY when the WIND blows, it gusts and just gotta be careful with doors and windows. We loved that it was a gas stove, my prefered cooking method. Also, wonderful to have access to gas grills outside, which were well maintained considering how many units can use it.

The gounds are beautifully kept and maintained. Yes, the beach is small with no waves, but it is rather peaceful and calm, and this is what one needs on vacation. What is rather nice, is Molokai Shores is right in the middle of everything, so it is close enough to the East, West and North areas - plus the little villiage is charming. We loved Tammy at Wine & Spirits.

Would we stay here again, absolutely!!!

Very nice & cozy with great sunset views

  • 5 of 5

Great location! Super easy to get around to various parts of Molokai from here. Clean, immaculate property. Very well equipped. A sunset every single night! Who could ask for anything more? There are lots of really interesting places to visit & explore on this Island Paradise. I will never go back to Maui ever again, because this is Mo'Bettah!

A Wonderful Place to Relax

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely condo, well maintained and very clean. The condo building is very close to the beach, which is small and not very busy. We had lovely sunsets night after night; Moloka'i itself is a quiet place, just our speed. Highly recommended if you are looking for a very relaxing vacation in a beautiful place.

comfortable condo with pool and spectacular ocean view

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay. There is no air con and it did get a little hot, especially between one and five. You can always jump in the pool though! Nice, clean, and well furnished. The view is amazing. I would recommend staying here to anyone planning on visiting Molokai.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. It is a lovely condo and it is true none of the condo complexes on Molokai have AC. Usually summer months has the trade winds blowing that keep it cooler but when they stop you do feel the heat The winter months are just perfect. That's Hawaii for you!
