Rustic log cabin on Ocean Parade - one of the most stunning views in town!

Highlights include:
- Large front deck to enjoy bbq and the stunning view
- Ample room to park boats and cars on the double block
- Pet-friendly Whilst fully fenced, it may not be fully secure. Supervised pets are welcome inside.
- Wood fire place with wood supplied - to enjoy in the colder months

Note: As per our terms and conditions, we require the Online Check-in / Guest Registration Form to be completed and returned prior to your arrival. Please note - the online check-in will ask you to provide a copy of your credit card, drivers licence, this is for security purposes only and is a requirement for booking our properties.

Linen is provided for all beds however they will be unmade.

Additional terms - Pet friendly

1) Guests must ensure they clean up after their dog prior to departure. (Otherwise excess cleaning fees will apply)
2) Local rules about dogs on beaches must be adhered to.
3) Dogs must be under the owners control at all times, must be kept confined in the backyard when not on a lead, must not be allowed to roam the streets, and must not disturb the neighbours.
4) Guests are fully responsible for the safety of their dog and no liability can be accepted for any misadventure (including as a result of inadequate fencing or escape from yard)

Excellent stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place has been updated since the pictures have been taken. A cosy little cabin, massive backyard for the dogs to run around. Would definitely come back.

Great View!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Yes the cabin was rustic but it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The slow combustion fire was great & necessary with wood provided. The view from the verandah was fantastic. We enjoyed sitting watching the sunrise at breakfast & drinks in the evening. Our dog also enjoyed his time there with such a huge yard. We loved having the mountain bike trails close by and several beaches to choose from.

Not the greatest - and very dirty overall

We were really disappointed in the overall state of this accommodation. While the house is okay enough to stay in, it's just disappointing to see that so many corners are/were cut. The cutlery, crockery, and utensils were super dirty and need replacing. Glad we brought our own pan, because there is no way we would have cooked in the one that was provided. The kettle had years of calcium build up in it (which we cleaned - it took all of 5 minutes). The house had more broken chairs than functional ones (and the broken ones were just left to sit in a corner of the front deck). The lounge was not comfortable enough to sit in for more than an hour and not big enough to accommodate the amount of people that can stay in this property. The beds were relatively comfy though there were only single and double beds, no queen sized beds, which these days you'd kind of expect to see. The dust in the house and the amount of cobwebs was truly unbelievable, which is really bad for severe dust mite allergy sufferers like myself. The fans and the walls were covered in years of dust, I'm really glad we didn't have to turn them on. There were plenty of small heaters so we managed to get warm, which is lucky, because the wood fire was not all that effective. It didn't distribute a lot of heat at all. There are no curtains or blinds in the main part of the house which doesn't allow for any privacy, and even in the bathroom, there was just a flimsy curtain that doesn't really do anything much. The flyscreens were half hanging off the windows (especially in the kitchen). While we understand that some concessions might need to be made here and there when you're staying in accommodation that allows for pets, the overall cleanliness is severely lacking. The location is great, with excellent views over the ocean - and the checkin procedure through the realtor was very smooth. Stove, fridge, shower and toilet were all good. The dogs had a great time running around on the property, which sits on a large block of land. Overall, I'd stay here again if some improvements were made and some of the yuckiness is improved upon, but other than that, probably not.

Our dream Holiday House!

The kids and dogs had an amazing time on the large property. The kids especially loved the cubby house. The house is comfortable and close to wonderful beaches and shops. We have already booked to come back!

Deceptive Delight

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Description of this place was very accurate. Could not believe the block size, it was super convenient considering we had 2 boats. The front deck was massive and offered the most amazing views. Bonus we had was the pods of whales that were coming past in large numbers and easily viewable from the location.Plenty of bedrooms but they are a bit heavy with furniture so they do feel smaller than what they actually are.The main criticism we had of the property is the single toilet and single shower thankfully they are both in seperate rooms.We will definitely consider this venue in future for our coastal vacations.
