Mount Snow House on Private Ski Home Trail w Shuttle Service

Fully equipped 3-level, 2 bedroom + lofted bedroom home directly on the private ski home trail at Mount Snow (ski conditions permitting) in the Bears Crossing Community about a 1/2 mile from Carinthia Base! There is also a free shuttle from the Bears Crossing road (about 100 yards from the house) to the mountain base and back, which runs every half hour during the winter (on weekends and holidays).

Guests will enjoy a master bedroom with queen bed and T.V., a guest bedroom with two twin bunk beds and T.V., a loft with three twin beds and T.V. with Nintendo gaming. The living room has a fireplace, 65 inch 4k smart T.V. and living room with sectional couch. There are 2 full bathrooms on the first level.

The home has an amazing wood burning fireplace (wood supplied at the front door), mud room, fully equipped kitchen, high end washer/dryer units, sliders to a deck overlooking a stream, fresh linens, high speed fiber optic WiFi, Roku, poker chips set, board games and everything you need to have a great stay on the mountain.

Bear Crossing community features a clubhouse with pool table, ping pong and a gym with basic equipment.

For the warmer months, enjoy the outdoor heated pool, fire pit, grills, tennis/pickleball courts, world class golf courses, hiking, mountain biking, and many other great local activities. Lakes are only a short 15 minute drive away.

Guests will have full access to the property and its amenities absent a small owners closet in the master BR. Guests will be provided a lock-box code that will be valid throughout the length of the reservation. Prior to every reservation, the property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with a professional cleaning service to ensure that you arrive to a clean unit with fresh bed linens.

Our number one goal is to be completely accessible to guests before, during, and after your stay. We can be reached via the VRBO app, phone, e-mail, or text and typically will respond in under an hour, if not immediately.

Nice ski house!

Ski trip

Great location for ski trip, close to mountain and restaurants. Lots of room for game nights with family by the fire. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Just Right Ski Condo

The condo was a perfect destination for my hardworking sales people. The place is spotless, everything works and it has just the right ski lodge vibe to make you feel like you’re really in the mountains. Definitely recommend it for families or groups of friends who enjoy skiing, the outdoors and good times together.

Fantastic Place!!

This could not have been a more perfect spot for us. The ski chalet/condo was lovely, clean and super comfy with all the amenities we needed. Great location, great place. Host communication was super quick and consistent. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Excellent Place for Mt Snow Skiing

The condo was stocked with everything that you would need. VERY CLEAN!. Comfy beds and furniture. Lots of sleds for the kids to use. The sledding on the return trail kept the kids happy for hours after skiing. Michael was great to deal with

Perfect family ski condo

This was perfect for our family, and we could have comfortably slept many more as well! It was clean, cozy, SO easily accessible to the mountain, and the host was extremely responsive. Definitely recommended!!!

Delightful weekend

My family enjoyed a great holiday weekend at this home in Mt Snow. The facilities were as or better than described. The owner was so helpful and proactive. And the neighbors were friendly too. We would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a comfortable, casual, easy weekend by the mountain.

Excellent Mount Snow getaway

Loved the convenience of staying here, definitely helped with getting kids as much time on the slopes as possible while being able to take lunch breaks back at the house. Ski home trail is fun too. House is well stocked with everything you might need, having the dryer is a must with multi day ski trip to keep your gear dry! Property owner is very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again when coming back to Mount Snow.

Quick ski trip

Beautiful interior, comfortable furniture, inviting fireplace with wood provided, modern kitchen. Clean bathrooms (with TP!). Kitchen well equipped to cook for group of 6-10. Beds made with comfy linens; everything worked easily. To be precise, it's 'SKI IN' but NOT 'SKI OUT'. This matters in planning for some, but it's incredibly close to the Carinthia Lodge parking lot (3 minutes) and lift. The ski in trail makes for great sledding and they have sleds in the closet! Loved this place and will definitely come back.

Comfortable & convenient!

Wonderful condo with room for 8. Comfortable - sectional sofa & fireplace in living room made for a great spot for games. And with Roku, many options for viewing were available. Convenient - Moover stop is a 2 minute walk & takes less than 10 minutes to get to the Main Base. The Ski Home Trail is awesome. Owner available and keeps communiation open, well done! Would stay again!

Mount Snow Getaway

This property was awesome to rent for our purpose of skiing at Mt. Snow. The shuttle picked us up right at the end of the street ( 2 min walk) and took us to the Mt. Snow. The condo was very clean and welcoming with an open living space that perfect for 6 adults. The only tricky part was that both bathrooms were on the ground level, so the couple in the loft had a bit of distance to travel to use the bathroom. Also, you could ski to the mountain, only home, but as I mentioned, there was a shuttle that was very convenient. Thank you Michael!

Ski trip with 5 teenage boys

We live in ny and it was regents week for those that needed to retake any. So I took advantage of a mid-week ski trip with my 16 year old son and 4 of his friends. The townhouse had plenty of room for all to sleep comfortably. Kitchen had some basic essentials which came in handy for cooking. The 7 minute drive to mount snow was great and Shaw’s supermarket was a quick 10-15 minute drive. Mike was also great to work with. The communication with him when arriving to the area was helpful. I’d recommend this property for anyone.

Great spot

Overall a fine stay for the five kids, my mom and I. The weather didn’t cooperate, but we had fun. The beds and linens could use and update (Ouch the springs!) and the space could use a good deep clean including the kitchen goods which needed to be washed before use. Surprised to find a crock pot! Yay for cooking at the base!

Great stay for Mount Snow Ski Trip

Property was great for our group of seven. Kids enjoyed the loft space & bunk beds. Property was professionally cleaned and kitchen was well appointed. Shuttle Service made getting to the mountain easy. Return-Home ski trail is just across the parking lot making return even easier when the snow is good. Plenty of board games, sleds, and firewood were a great touch. We will definitely book the Mike again.

Perfect for our ski day

Great family weekend in Vermont

We very much enjoyed our visit to Vermont and loved staying here. After a busy day of outdoor snow play and hiking, it was really nice to come back, make hot chocolate, watch movies, and play board games next to the fire. The location is ideal, very close to Mount Snow and close to town. The amenities were very nice and clean and our large group with kids slept comfortably (having two full bathrooms was also very useful!). I would definitely recommend a visit to this part of Vermont and a stay at this rental. One other important recommendation: Sticky Fingers cinnamon buns (and lots of restaurants) is right around the corner and a must! We will definitely go back!!

Mount Snow Wood House

Our stay at the Mount Snow Wood House was incredible. It was comfortable and cozy. There was so much to do! We didn’t even get to do all that we had planned. Looks like another trip to this fantastic place will be a must! Such a great weekend.

We have been skiing the Mount Snow area for many years and stayed in the Bears Crossing Community countless times for our family and friend trips throughout all seasons of the year. The location of the community and it's impeccable maintenance led us to jump on the opportunity to own a home when the time was right. We couldn't be happier and our goal is to provide our guests with the best vacation experience possible. We stock the house with as many essentials as possible to make packing easier on our guests. Included are small things such as coffee, shower essentials, laundry detergent, iron, and hair dryer just to name a we used to always refer to as the "annoying things to pack" and try to fit into luggage. Our motto is availability to our guests. We are available for questions regarding the property and to our guests throughout their stay 24/7 for any concerns that arise. We look forward to hosting you in our home!

From the time I was ten years old, I told friends and family I was going to purchase a ski house in Vermont. For 30+ years, I skied virtually every resort in the State and while there is no doubt wonderful skiing throughout, I always found myself returning to the Mount Snow area. When I made the decision to buy a number of years ago, I did not jump right in. I spent years looking at properties and taking my family to various communities in the area and when we found Bears Crossing we knew it was where we wanted to be. Even then, I waited for the opportunity to purchase not only in Bears Crossing but directly near the private ski home trail. Simply put, there is nothing better than skiing directly to ones front door! Our property stands out as one of only a very select few that feature the ski home option. Whether it's to ski home for lunch (and save a ton of money by doing so) or using it for your last peaceful run of the day, the ski home option incredibly unique. We think you'll feel the same way after using it!
