Unclean

There was plenty of space. The house itself was very unclean. I never got messages back from the hosts. The house has potential but needs help. There was no cleaning supplies to do any cleaning myself. No dustpan for the broom. We thought we were the first guests to rent it out because of how unprepared and unclean everything was. I am not trying to be rude, but we were very disappointed and want to be honest for future guests.

Our Second stay just as good as the first!

We love this place when we visit Mountain Home. For being in a busy part of Gassville, it still has privacy from prying eyes. It's close to everything we need. We have stayed here twice in a month. We love the fence for our dog. We also love the huge carport. Very unique. The home is well outfitted. Yes, as others have stated, it's a bit dated, but very comfortable and roomy. The A/C works great and that is sometimes a problem in other houses we've stayed in. As long as this is available, we will make it our go too.

Great Stay

The house has lots of room and everything you'd need for your stay. The fence is a huge plus as we have a small dog that we don't leave home without. It's very, very hard to find homes with fences. This home is close to Mountain Home, and all surrounding activities as stated in the description. Internet is lightning fast throughout the whole house. It has an enormous carport, so if it is raining you can load and unload without getting wet. We are staying there again in the near future and will keep it on our list of favorites. Thank you so much to the host.

Step Back In Time

I have thought long and hard about what to say. I will start by saying that the house was clean. There was very little dust especially considering there was a ton of things in the house. The floors were also very clean. Overall, the cleanliness was great. What you get is a very large clean house. With that being said, after having stayed there, I do not feel like the price is in line with what is offered. The best way I can describe it, it feels like you are staying at someone's house, but not in a good way. There are tons of used books and many personal trinkets throughout the house. It is very dated. Probably wouldn't have been too bad had I not stumbled upon the guest books to the previous owners' funerals in the closet I was going to hang my clothes in. It made it feel a little personal. Those are my gripes. Otherwise, it was a good stay. There was plenty of gas for the grill, great fenced in yard and plenty of space. My nephew loved playing the piano. The fact that every bedroom has a sliding glass door to a concrete patio should not be over looked either. We enjoyed our stay but it felt like the folks passed away and their house was just thrown on the market. I would stay there again however, with reservations.

Family Thanksgiving

We rented this home to have a place for family visiting the area for Thanksgiving. It was very convenient to our family in Mt. Home as well as quiet and spacious. We loved having the ping-pong table. Provided lots of enjoyment for the teenagers as well as grandma. There was a fenced in area in the back for our dog. Checking in was super easy. We found plenty of cooking utensils to aid in our Thanksgiving preparation. We took our own Apple TV box and had plenty of football/sports viewing. Washer and dryer worked well so we had plenty of towels.We did not figure out how to adjust the water in the "green shower" until the last day.We would rent again.

Perfect getaway!

This home was just the best property! Plenty of space for a group of friends to sprawl out and be comfortable. Nice fenced in back yard for puppers. Kitchen was fully stocked. The home is perfect location just seconds away from McDonald’s, coffee shop and gas station. Definitely will stay here again if we are in the area!

Spacious

Very large. Real beds. It really does have 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms as advertised, and each bedroom has a king or queen bed. Also has 2 living rooms and a game room. Perfect if you want space and no one wants a futon.

Perfect location

The property was huge. Nice and clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. The ping pong table was a big plus. We were there for my dad's funeral and I would love to come back for a vacation. My only complaint was the sink in the master bedroom was a very slow drain.

Guys fly fishing trip

Comfortable house with plenty of room for 4 people to each have their own bedroom. 3 bedrooms share the same bathroom. Centrally located within a short drive to groceries, restaurants, and Dally's fly shop. Somewhat quirky main bathroom, but functional.

Gassville House

There were a few minor issues, but the property manager was outstanding! She listened, understood and addressed everything with lightning speed. The property is very well furnished and equipped. An absolute recommendation.

Prepard for Guests

The property was perfect for what we needed regarding space. We were in town for my brother's memorial. It looked like no one had prepared the property for guest. Most of the overhead lights did not work. One shower/tub was unusable due to needing repairs. So 6 people had to use the master shower. The AC vents that were located on the ceiling were closed in the back bedrooms and were very hot. There was a lot of trash in the yard. Again, it was like it wasn't ready for people to stay. The beds were clean thank goodness. That would have been the icing on the cake.

Lovely place!

The place was very spacious and lovely. We were able to get in easily. The house had almost everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. The only thing we couldn't find were blow/hair dryers. But it was so warm and sunshiny outside that my hair was dry within minutes. Definitely a wonderful place.to stay.

Good luck in getting a responce from your contact person, sent two e-mails a few days in advance and one call that day to Samantha and got no return contacts, the house was dated but nice, clean and was happy with the value. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table, adults too! Lots of room in house, Outside grill area and outside yard area needs attention, grill area was very dirty, benches and tables way to dirty to use. I would rate the house inside an 8 out of 10. Couple of small items needed repair, hard to get tv stations to work, in fact only got one room working, Would rent again.

Great time. Beautiful home.

Loved the property. Spacious and livable. Only issues were cable tv and fireplaces didnt work. Management tried to adress issues but were not resolved in the four days we stayed. I would rent again.
