My beautiful, high end, tropical Tommy Bahama inspired home is located in the historic Southside of Pittsburgh, only 3 blocks from Carson Street the go to place for restaurants, bars, and shopping in the city. Huge driveway for off street parking. (You will not find this in the City of Pittsburgh) and fantastic outdoor area with grill and brand new outdoor jacuzzi (year round use) Perfect for entertaining, itā€™s like your own private resort! Basement with PacMan 412 game console, air hockey, poker game, gaming roulette table and dart board. Travertine and slate custom tile throughout. Two bedrooms have their own private en suite full bath!

This was a great place for a group of colleagues to hang out before and after our conference sessions across the river. The narrow steep streets were a little challenging, but we enjoyed plenty of parking space right next to the house. We loved the upper patio and ended most days soaking in the hot tub. We even visited the hidden, well stocked game room.

Pittsburgh Rocks!

We had a Wonderful time and the house was fantastic. Lots of amenities for the kids to play in the game room. We really enjoyed the outside patio area where we spent most of our evening. Everything we visited was within minutes of the location. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family loved staying here. The 4 bedrooms plus 3 bathrooms were a plus for our family of 8. Game room provided extra fun for our kids and adults. Plenty of driveway parking. Hot tub was great and the outdoor patio was covered so we could play games even in the rain. We will be back.

In town for Pedal Pittsburgh bike event

The house was very comfortable and worked well for our group of eight cyclists (ages 60-77) in town for a cycling eventā€” and the host was terrific (very accommodating). The beds were ALL comfortable (very important) and the house was clean, with 3.5 bathrooms, which is hard to find. The house is within walking distance to Carson Street in Southside, which was very convenient. Itā€™s located on a very narrow and super steep hill, but thereā€™s plenty of off-street parking (enough space for four or five SUVs). Thereā€™s also a nice outdoor space that we enjoyed in the mornings and evenings. It provided lots of privacy despite the houses being very close together. We all had a great long weekend!

Perfect for our large family!

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was very clean and the accommodations were very nice! We were very thankful for the off street parking as we had a large van. The hot tub was a big perk! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Perfect for our adult family.

Was a bit concerned when we first pulled up to the property with the surrounding area but immediately felt safe and secure as we entered the property. The sleeping accommodations for our family of 8 adults perfectly. The kitchen was well supplied since we like to cook a big breakfast before beginning our daily adventure. The short walk to Carson street with so many restaurants, bars and shopping choices was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property

Beautiful property in an upcoming neighborhood convenient to both the funky shops and restaurants on Carson Street and the new shops and restaurants near the Hot Metal Bridge. Itā€™s clean and welcoming with a great tropical decor theme. The first floor is open plan with a well equipped kitchen, a dining table, and a comfortable sofa and chairs. Itā€™s great for a group to hang out together. We needed four bedrooms so we were happy to find that they are all separate rooms. The second floor shares a bath and each of the third floor rooms has its own bath. They are comfortable and nicely decorated. The view from the third floor balcony out over Pittsburgh at night is wonderful! We stayed in November so we didnā€™t have a chance to use the bbq area or the hot tub or the lounge deck, but theyā€™re nicely arranged to enjoy being outside. The host gave clear directions and replied very quickly. We highly recommend this house and would be glad to stay there again.

Everything was as described. In addition to fabulous indoor space an extra touches, we really enjoyed the time outdoors. To have that kind of outdoor space and parking make this one of kind so close to the city sites.

visiting the city for Senior Olympics

The property was set about 10-12 min from downtown which was great. Our host, Norma, was very responsive to any issues and questions we had. The outdoor sitting area was nice. The area was quiet and there were some great stores and restaurants just a few blocks away. This was within walking distance to one of the 3 rivers in Pittsburg, which made for a great walk. Pittsburg had more hills than we would have guessed and this property is on one of those hills. overall we had a great stay!

Great house in a transitioning neighborhood

We needed a place for 7 of us who were attending the annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Four of us had collector-quality cars that required off-street parking. This house and itā€™s large paved drive provided all we needed. The property had just the right amount of indoor space including a good-sized, well supplied kitchen as well as two lovely outdoor areas for socializing. The hilly neighborhood is in transition with some commercial properties, a few nicely redone homes, a few striking new ones and many residencies that run down and not well maintained. Nearby, Carson Street has a fun, artsy feel with lots of bars and restaurants. The hill on which the house sits is very narrow and steep. Trying to turn out of the street at the top of the hill was a challenge and led to scraped undercarriages and in one case a wheel coming off the ground. Despite these shortcomings we very much enjoyed our stay.

The home provided just the number of bedrooms (4) and bathrooms (3.5) to make our party of 6 comfortable with enjoyable. The washer /dryer were essential to keeping our basketball uniforms clean & ready-to-use each day. Beds were compfy and kitchen was well-stocked with cooking essentials. Host was super responsive and pleasant. It was a great stay!

Terrific house!!!

We gathered three plus generations to celebrate my daughterā€™s graduation from Carnegie Mellon University. We had a fabulous time. Kitchen is well stocked, outdoor space is fabulous- my young adult kids LOVED the hot tub. We loved just sitting on the patio and sharing a meal and catching up! Beds are super comfortable- AC and ceiling fans helped with heat. Neighborhood is fun for eats and shopping. Also see a show at City Theater! Easy access to CMU or Shadyside or Squirrel Hill. There are some flights of stairs so be aware if your party has any mobility issues. Norma was a great communicative host!

Cozy and comfortable great location

We were in for the weekend for UPitt graduation and wanted a place to stay for family including grandparents. Place was perfect, very clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. House is walking distance to many restaurants and bars but far enough away to be quiet. Norma was a great communicator- we had a fantastic time.

Bachelorette Weekend

I chose this place to host 8 girls for my best friends bachelorette weekend. The home was comfortable and spacious enough for all of us! Location to activities in Pittsburgh was only minutes away. Everyone really enjoyed the outdoor living space, especially the hot tub. Our host made sure our weekend was seamless and enjoyable! I highly recommend and would stay again.

Weekend In the Burgh

Our family had concert tickets and hockey tickets for the weekend in Pittsburgh. We decided to skip the hotel and find a house. The house is niceā€¦plenty of room for the eight of us. It is off the beaten path but walking distance to some nice restaurants and bars. We were able to Uber into the city but getting Ubers back became an issue. The only other issue was we seemed to run out of hot water fairly quickly. But other then that the place was perfect for us.
