Really great stay in Venus Bay, house was well set up for a summer beach holiday, nice back yard, walk track to beach, close to Walkerville South and Tarwin Lower shops and pub. All had a wonderful time and hope to be back!
Had a great stay in Venus Bay, comfortable beds, bright house, quiet street, big backyard with trampoline and wombat visitor! Great to be a short bike ride to shops, didn't try beach track as easy to park at main beach, 4 min drive away, despite not having the best beachy weather had a really nice break.
The house is really nice and it had everything that we needed for a great stay. It is fenced and secure for little kids. The kitchen and dining area is lovely and the living area has a new TV plus DVD player and PlayStation and toys for the kids. We loved the track to the beach across the dunes which is accessible from behind the house.
Great location, large quiet backyard, super family friendly
Our 3 daughters and us loved our stay there. The property is really well located: 10 mins walk to the beach via a nice path through the sand dune, near the local shops too. We loved the large garden area and access to the barbecue.
Perfect location. Quiet yet close to the local shops/cafes. Over the back fence dune track to the beach. At night it’s just stars and the sound of rolling waves.

Clean House, Relaxing Family Holiday
Clean, pleasant, well-stocked, central aircon.
If it had 2 bathrooms, it would be perfect for 2 families. Only one bathroom meant that there was always a queue.
Suggestions:
- Old-fashioned TV too difficult to operate. Really needs to be updated to a Smart TV with USB port and ability to accept video-casting from a mobile device.
- Insufficient clothes storage options - no cupboards, cabinets or over-door storage hooks.
- Gate into property too narrow. Need to be careful not to knock off your car side-mirrors.
- Dishwasher on premises, but not working.
