Circa 1859 this Gothic revival church was originally the St James Presbyterian Church of Miners Rest before being lovingly converted into a beautiful accomodation

Located in Miners Rest just 15 mins from Ballarat CBD, its the perfect place to access everything that Ballarat and surrounding areas has to offer.

The entire property is seeped in history with exposed brick walls, gothic revival style doors and gorgeous timber beams.

Downstairs boasts a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook including a pod coffee machine with coffee included, microwave, and a dining area to seat 6 people.
The comfortable lounge is complete with a smart TV and DVD player and the reading corner has a comfy couch to curl up on and enjoy a book or two. There are games to keep the whole family entertained.

Maybe you are here for work reasons? There is a desk / work station which is the perfect place to sit and catch up on all of your business needs. Wifi is also included.

Upstairs is complete with a stylish bathroom with a large shower and all towels provided. The main bedroom has a large King size bed with high quality linens and gorgeous exposed beams from the former church.
The second bedroom has two King single beds and the option for a third pull out single bed available on request. Complete with the views of the church windows, exposed beams and brick wall you will appreciate the history of this beautiful building.

Please note you must be able to climb stairs to stay here as the bedrooms and bathroom is located on the second floor. Although small children are welcome it is not recommended as there is no safety gate on the staircase.
Outside you can sit back and enjoy the style of the old church in the backyard at the outdoor table. There is a BBQ for the warmer months.

Off street parking is available.
All of this is located in a quiet, family friendly area of Miners Rest within walking distance to the local pub, community playground and BMX track, IGA supermarket and general store.
A bus stop to catch public transport into Ballarat is located in the same street.
