Perfect Keys Getaway - Spacious, Beautiful, and Unforgettable!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, with brand-new furniture and the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. The location couldn’t have been better – truly central to everything, with a gorgeous view that we enjoyed every morning. Watching dolphins in the canal was such a magical experience, and it was only a quick 10-minute ride to deep water for boating and fishing. Everything in the house was in perfect working order, and the management team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. This home truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!Let me know if you want any tweaks!

A Beautiful Time at the Mermaid Mansion (2ND Flr)

We had a delightful time at the Mermaid Mansion (2ND Flr). Very clean with new appliances, furniture and amenities. 2ND Flr (15 steps) has a nice patio (partially screened) with an ocean view from on end and the lagune view along the other. Fully air conditioned, computer printer, bright and inviting. Plenty of room for a boat, nice pool and jacuzzi (both in-ground) with Tiki Hut and dedicated parking space. Spacious bedrooms & bathrooms. Very attentive owner & staff with prompt response to question. Walking distance to multiple excellent restaurants, County park, tennis courts, frisbee golf and swimming center. Short drive to bay beach, ocean beach, multiple restaurants, attractions & church. We spent 2.5 months there and truly enjoyed it!!!!

Poor host communication

After booking and paying the initial deposit, host subsequently notified us that we would have to change our dates, she had double booked on another site. Host did not disclose that her parents would be occupying the lower level and that someone would be on property sporadically. Hosts mother told us to move our vehicles since we were in their parking spot, and that we were sitting on her furniture downstairs so we should move.. 3 days before the end of our stay, hosts mother informed us that they had rented the lower unit and another family was moving in that afternoon. So much for privacy. We packed and left next morning, 3 days early. Kitchen drain was plugged, informed host that the disposal was not working, she replied there was no disposal. So, we sent a pic of said disposal, and her father arrived 2 1/2 days later to plunge the drain but not repair the disposal. Our patio furniture was either broken or so uncomfortable and flimsy that no one would sit on them. Of course we were not allowed to utilize the downstairs patio furniture. The porch door was broken and secured by an actual dog collar. There is a tiki bar which was unusable due to its deteriorated condition. There is a jacuzzi attached to the pool, however they refused to heat above the pool temp. The master bath shower doors would not stay closed, making it interesting taking a shower. There is no exhaust fan in either bathroom. No hand soap provided other than a couple single use hotel soaps.
