This middle floor two bedroom unit has a sunny balcony and is well positioned in a small complex.

Sailfish is close to the water, shops and restaurants, you can park the car and walk along the waterfront walk way to everything Nelson Bay has to offer. The unit has great views looking over Nelson Bay Marina and waterways, you can sit back, relax and watch the boats go by or sit inside in the comfort of air conditioning.

The complex is framed by the lovely Laidler Reserve where you have the walkway leading down to the cruise checkout centre and Marina, the reserve also provides you the bonus of additional parking.

Nicely furnished and fully self-contained, the kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave, the bathroom has a shower, vanity, toilet, washing machine and there is also and separate toilet, so park your car in the double lock up garage and enjoy your well earned break!

(f) intentionally, recklessly or negligently damage the personal property of neighbours of the premises or other occupants of a strata or community scheme.

This property is approved for holiday accommodation only, no extra bedding mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.

After hour emergency service is available 24/7 during your stay.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies.

Great views and location

The unit is large well positioned and has beautiful views throughout. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. The furniture needs updating, with dinner chairs padding collapsing and uncomfortable to sit on. The air con was efficient but unfortunately we were forced to use it more than we would have liked it, as the windows are locked in a small opening position and hot air in the unit cannot be flushed out with cross ventilation Tuncomfortable.

Our advise go elsewhere

It's a pity a unit such as this was allowed to be presented in a dirty condition The attraction and selling point of this unit was a lockup garage, which didn't work on arrival, a covered balcony with a BBQ where we could "Enjoy a BBQ breakfast while sitting back and relaxing watching the boats go by ".At least this was the sales blurb. What a shock, we never used either the BBQ or the Balcony. The BBQ was a health hazard, absolutely filthy and unsafe the gas bottle showed signs of corrosion and rust.. I received a message from the management to come and get a hot plate liner, if I tried to ignite the BBQ it's possible it would blow up in your face, I didn't go further and check hose and fittings a BLOODY DISGRACE AND DANGEROUS. I don't think anyone has done a quality control inspection on this property for some time. In the kitchen the two top draws which housed the cutlery were dirty with food droppings in the second draw, we had to wash the top draw utensils and leave them in a container on the bench top. The only frying pan that was clean and usable had a base that was saucer shaped, it took 10 min. to fry an egg. The bathroom shower had mould growing around it and was dirty. The bathroom cupboard had cockroach droppings in it and had not been cleaned for a while. The hand basin had black mould growing around the drain hole. The whole place needs a deep clean including the windows.

Hi Hans, Thank you for your feedback. During your stay I came out to the property to inspect the BBQ which you had complained about. The owner was made aware of this and it has since been removed from the unit. We offered to send the cleaner back to the unit to rectify the cleaning issue's and you advised you did not want the cleaners to attend during your stay. All the issue's you have reported have been passed onto the owner and have been rectified. Thank you

Lovely stay

Lovely break away, pretty views and good with the garage and fans. Wi-fi , coffee machine, some more coat hangers and hair dryer would have been good additions. Air con didn’t work properly and the remote had dead batteries and the bathroom walls needed a good clean.

Good functional unit. Oven/grill did not work properly and for people that cook like me that was an issue . Otherwise, air con was great and the unit's handy location to marina and shops was good.
