Damp, dusty and dated...

Unfortunately, this property fell short of the beautiful pictures online. The house was not clean. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the terrible smell of damp and mould downstairs. This is clearly an issue as the owners have left notes on the windows asking you to leave them open for airflow. The master bedroom was extremely dusty and had coffee stains all over the bedside tables and wall. It has random crappy furniture and doesn't seem to be well maintained at all. The only redeeming feature is the stunning view, but you don't really want to be inside that long to enjoy it. Luckily had some sunny weather to stay at the beach! Great location and nice and quiet- but I really wouldn't recommend this house at all. Sad because it could be so lovely if a little time and care went into it. Head to the caravan park next door- great views and much cleaner cabins!

A few problems

back garden needs cleaning, home of a large rat, hot water in shower is a trickle, main bed needs replacing, very uncomfortable, some cutlery needs cleaning, fridge not very cold, Awesome Views.

Lookout at apollo bay

This has been a lovely tour for me and my family in this property, even though it was just for the weekends...the beaches and twon centre ws merely few minutes drive away, so it helped ....the weather did not hold on the Saturday, so while we expected some glorious sunny beach time, it didn't happen....the property location was good, the 3 bedrooms accomodoated the 7 of us nicely...the view of the beach from the 1st floor was nice and soothing, even though it was not spectacular...rooms were clean and tidy..few issues - the round dining table was wobbly, it posed some trouble for the kids....the drawer handles of the kicthen and the bar stools were not very friendly, we got hurt few times. There main entrance to the property did not have any shades, so it was problematic on rainy days...overall, we enjoyed our stay..

Great location!

We have stayed in this location before and it's great! 15 mins walk to the shops and 5 mins to the stunning beach! The house is nice with great views though the furniture is a bit tired and could do with updating. Accommodation was good and comfortable. We expected better quality for the $$$ we paid (having said that we did go there at the most expensive time of the year!) And we had a great holiday!
