Family Time Cabin / Mountain views

Escape to the mountains! Immaculate and spacious log cabin features private setting with long range mountain views. Main level has cathedral ceilings, stone gas-log fireplace, open kitchen, master bedroom and covered deck. Lower level features two bedrooms, pool table, covered deck, and fire pit. Stay for a week and enjoy a new friendly town everyday. All within 1 hour or less Helen ,Blue Ridge, Hiawassee, Blairsville, Murphy,Highlands,Franklin. Don't forget the wineries, casinos, trails, tubing etc
We are pet friendly and require an additional $25 pet cleaning fee for your furry friends to visit.

We had a great stay! The house is clean and fully stocked.Check in and check out we’re incredibly easy. It’s in a great location. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains. We will definitely book again in the future!!!

Relaxing Getaway

The listing of this property is 100%. Everything was PERFECT! Communication was perfect. I got the email and it was specific and we didn’t have to bother the owners for a thing. We had the best stay at this cabin. It was so peaceful and much needed. Thank you for having us.

Mountain View

Really nice place to visit, kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cooking equipment. Very clean and quiet. The pool table was a nice addition.

Veterans Day get a way

My husband, son, daughter in law and myself were very happy with the cabin we chose. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Close to so many interesting places to explore. We will definitely return for another visit! Owners were very accommodating

Such a great cabin!!

We have been coming to the Helen area every fall since 2008. This is definitely one of the top cabins we have stayed in. The owner was such a pleasure to work with and the initial booking process was so easy. The owner was always quick to respond to answer any questions we had. The cabin itself is so cozy, had an amazing view, and a great locations. We hope to return again next year!

Thanksgiving Family Time

Location and views were outstanding! The cleanest of the cabin could be improved upon some. Also, many of the blinds and curtains need to be replaced. But overall, we had an outstanding time. Thank you.

Wow

This is a place I would stay again, and I don’t say that often. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view. It is close enough to town to make shopping and dining out easy. AT trails were easy to access. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the owners, and how easy they were to communicate with. We had a great time.

Wonderful!

A quiet, serene location. Perfect for eclipse watching, bright stars and clear vast sky. Loved the main floor and fireplace. The porch overlooking the mountains was perfect for relaxing and watching birds and wildlife. Though Our visit was short, we would definitely return another time to take in the many sights. Communication with the owners was excellent.

Clean and comfortable cabin with amazing mountain view

Our family of four with our pet dog stayed for three nights and enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was well equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, etc. Great water pressure in the showers and very comfortable beds. The host was very attentive and hospitable, and responded immediately when I had a question. Internet connection was good, satellite tv, pool table, and perfect view of mountains. There is a small convenience store a couple of minutes away for necessities, and the supermarket and several restaurants are only 10 min.

Our Aussie loved the rear deck, walking up and down the steep road and wading in the cold rushing creek. Temp.'s were 20 degrees cooler than home and the bugs aren't bad so she just wanted to stay outside all day. Water pressure is great, don't know where that complaint came from, maybe it was fixed. Cabin well equipped except no kitchen towel's, so bring your own or lot's of paper towels.

Amazing Cabin and View

We got to spend 4 nights at this amazing property, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The interior of the cabin was spacious, comfortable, clean, well supplied, and decorated beautifully. The upper deck had a gorgeous view of the mountains and forest, and the rhododendrons were in bloom everywhere! Almost heaven! We only went down to the lower level once, during a rainy afternoon, to play a few fun games of pool. The view from that deck was also lovely. Being flatlanders, the drive up the mountain to the cabin was really scary for us the first time. But each time we did the drive, it got easier. It was definitely worth the steep drive to get to this wonderful destination!

Great cabin with gorgeous views!

We had an excellent weekend at this cabin. I recommend and would return here again. The photos are very accurate - the views are nice, the inside is great and clean, big deck has comfy furniture. Pool table downstairs is fun, the outdoor firepit was good. Kitchen is nicely supplied with whatever you need to cook and eat your own food. Road/driveway is steep, but paved and we had no problems - a great tradeoff for the views you have higher up on the hill! The cabin is two stories, but you could spend it all on the upper level if you don't do stairs. Kitchen, living room, master bedroom and bath are all on the upper level, where the main door is. Lower level includes two more bedrooms, bathroom and pool table room. Both levels have their own outdoor deck with decent seating options. Note the road is not on Google Maps or some GPS units! It is on Apple maps and mapquest. On Google maps, it is NOT the gravel road across from 'LL Rd'. It is more across/east from 'Woodring Rd'

Family Christmas

The view was awesome. The cabin was perfect for us and our family. The coffee bar was a nice touch. We never had anything like that before. The beds were comfortable. Lots of towels and amenities. The water pressure was not so great. But everything else was. Definitely need more large glasses for drinking. Plenty of coffee cups, though. Had some issues with the grill, but emailed the owners and they had someone out quickly to help resolve the issue. Overall great cabin and the view was breath taking.

Wonderful

House was clean, well-kept, in a beautiful location. It exceeded our expectations. We particularly enjoyed taking in the view and playing games of pool. The driveway was very steep and a bit scary if you’re not used to that sort of terrain, but we made it up safely.
