The wind was bitter cold so we didn’t use the hot tub or the fire pit but the cabin was cozy. The host was very responsive. There was plenty of space to enjoy games and family time but also spread out to three separate rooms on three floors for couples to have alone time. The only criticism that we have and it is a small thing but we like to shoot pool and it was one of the reasons we picked this cabin. The pool table is too large for the space it is in so you couldn’t play on all sides. But, we loved the place and the stay and would stay here again.

Our stay was great. Communication when the host was excellent and check in was a breeze. The cabin and property were perfect for our long weekend getaway. Our oups LOVED the femced in 3 acres! The hotvtub and fire pit were amazing! The cabin was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

This location is close to Helen and Dahlonega, but quiet and secluded. We enjoyed the fireplace, fire pit, pool table, hot tub, and fenced yard for our friends' dog. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owner, Steve was nice and responsive. We loved having 3 bathrooms available. The bed was comfortable. A perfect place to get away!

We have been coming to Smokerise for many years. Unfortunately the cabin is showing its age and is in need of some updates. For instance the dishwasher is in need of replacement. Its current condition is unacceptable. New plates are in order as well. Kitchen pans and knives are in need of replacement and or sharpening. Most disturbingly the smoke detector in the loft which died during our visit last year has not been replaced. Also only one key was supplied as opposed to two which have been provided in past years. The cabin is in a great location on a great property, but delayed maintenance is taking its toll.

Host was very helpful on our arrival. Cabin had everything we need. Enjoyed the hot tub as well as the fire pit. No complaints.

This cabin was amazing! The layout was perfect for a small group and it was so nice that it was set on a few acres of land. The host was so responsive and helpful, and everything inside was immaculately clean. We are looking forward to staying here again next year. Such a great experience.

The driveway is very narrow and could use repairs, but that's not the owners problem. It's a county road. The property is very secluded and private. We enjoyed the stay. It had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. The house is located in close proximity to Helen and Cleveland. Close to Ingles, grocery store which we frequented. We had a great time just sitting in the porch, relaxing and enjoying each others company. We were college roommates and we take a yearly trip and this location we perfect. The lockbox is a little hard to open as well as the outdoor trash can. The basement stayed hot even with lowering the air, But those are just minor issues. It is a nice place to stay. I would go back.

Beautiful cabin, quiet & peaceful. Our 2 pups got to run & play in their fenced in yard & I walked with them on the path at the edge of the fence. Close & easy to get to Helen GA to visit sites there. Rating s/b 10 plus!!Host really helped with making our stay fabulous!

Great place, only downside was not having a working light in upstairs closet and I couldn’t figure out the ceiling fan in the loft. The property itself was very well kept. Communication was great, beds were comfortable. Home was very welcoming!

What a wonderful property! 3 levels with a bedroom and full bath on each level. Was perfect for 3 couples for a getaway weekend. We came for Crush Fest at Yonah Mountain Winery. This property makes you feel like you’re away from everything but very convenient to Yonah Mountain, Serenity Cellars, and The Jumping Goat. The property is just as described and host incredibly responsive. We felt right at home during our stay. We saw deer from the back porch both mornings while enjoying our coffee!

Absolutely beautiful!!! Check in info arrived well before our day to depart and all was exactly as described. The cabin is secluded and very private. Fence around entire property to assure pets are secure. Cabin and grounds were well maintained and anything that was a must for your stay was provided. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Rooms were well decorated and very roomy and comfortable. It truly felt like home away from home - with amazing views. Everyone loved the hot tub and making s'mores in the fire pit. I loved the cool breeze on the front porch swing. The location was great. Secluded but only 3 miles from plenty of activities and eats. We really loved the place and are hopefully to be able to return for a longer more laid-back trip as this trip was for my Grand-daughters graduation.

The Smokerise Cabin is owned by the Fleming Family. The Flemings purchased the property in 2015 after completing a 30-year career with the United States Army. We have been so pleased by the number of quality renters and many military members (present and past) who have appreciated our home the way we do. Come enjoy the North Georgia Mountains in a relaxed setting...you will not be disappointed.

Our place is for those who want to relax and feel like you are staying at someone's home not a rental. We offer a 3 level 3BR & 3BA home on 3.5 wooded fenced acres. It is private, relaxing, comfortable, inviting, easy and convenient to Helen without being in Helen. We are just 3 miles from Helen. This is our home - it is decorated with a warm feel and has it all from slippers to everything a gourmet chef would need. All you have to bring is yourself, clothes, food -- and (of course) a great attitude.
