Great home close to everything! There is a general store selling decent coffee around the corner. Our dogs were welcome which is why we decided to stay here. We could not have been happier. 4 decent sized rooms so good for families or groups of friends. Communication with the owner was great! The house had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect beach destination retreat

We had a great stay here over the weekend. The house is large and spacious with lots of inside and outside living areas. The location is convenient, close to both the front beach and the main shopping strip. Thoroughly recommended it for both families and groups of friends.

Great Stay

Spent 3 nights at this lovely property. Walking distance to the main street and shopping. Very quiet but central location. The property owner was a delight to deal with. I can recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and excellent property.

Sorrento winter getaway

Great location, quiet and serene and lovely walk to Sorrentos shops, cafes and waterfront. Fabulous Winter getaway house, lots of heating options, a really cosy place to stay. Had everything we needed. And would also be a great place to stay anytime of the year.

Overall very comfortable house in a great location. We had issues related to level of cleaning on arrival eg. the freezer was choked with food containers and iced over, towels were on the line, the dishwasher still had items in it. We replaced the batteries in 3 remotes and the smoke alarm failed on the second night due to a flat battery.The host was able to address the freezer issue and we alerted her crew to the other issues on Tuesday. We would certainly recommend the property for families but suggest the host check the house prior to guest arrival.

Perfect Sorrento home for family getaway

Our family of 7 adults loved our stay here. Very clean and extremely comfortable beds (nice linen) and lounge areas. Very tastefully decorated and lots of natural light. Kitchen well equiped. Michelle was vey friendly and prompt with any questions. A golden find in Sorrento, will definitely return.

Perfect!

Perfectly situated - making it easy to walk to the beach with kids which was so great given how busy Sorrento is at Easter time and car parking can be tricky. A gorgeous home, with attention to detail and a clear understanding of how to make guests fully relax! For example with a covered outdoor eating area. Fantastic house with a great layout for our extended family. House was very clean and had everything we needed with plenty of outdoor space for the kids. I just love Sorrento. I had all my holidays growing up there and now my kids just love it too. Our best times are just lounging around at home or having a few drinks in The Members, the indoor/outdoor fun room at the back of our house.

We also love beach holidays overseas and skiing. When we are away we are looking for great restaurants and a way to immerse ourselves in the culture. Most of all we are looking to have fun and for a chance to relax.

As a host we would love our guests to enjoy our house, make it like their own, have a fabulous holiday and make sure they take the opportunity to see what the Mornington Peninsula has on offer.

Our home is located in Sorrento, Victoria, Australia.
This property is located 1.1km from the Sorrento shopping strip (Ocean Beach Road), 500m to the front beach, 600m to The Baths Restaurant and approximately 1.3km to the Sorrento Hotel.

More information
Heading towards the ocean beach, the national park and surf beach are about 500m away with many beautiful coastal tracks for walking.

Neighbouring Portsea and Blairgowrie are also located within a couple of kilometres. The Red Hill and Merricks wine districts and Peninsula Hot Springs are approximately 20 minutes away by car.

Mornington Peninsula boasts some of the most beautiful beaches, walking tracks, golf courses, wineries and restaurants in Australia.

Getting around

This property is within easy walking distance to the Sorrento shops and both Sorrento bay and ocean beaches. There is also public transport available by bus, and many cycling tracks.

There is ample driveway parking for 3 or 4 cars on the property with additional parking on the front nature strip for guests.

Superb location and you can walk everywhere. Enough living areas to give everyone a bit of space and then with the ability to come together to have fun for a BBQ or a few drinks on the deck or in "The Members".
It is not a new property but it is freshly painted with new carpet and furniture and sparkling clean.
