The cottage was perfect for me and my friends. A great space, and yard, and so close to the beach. The host was outstanding in communication and addressing questions I had prior to the stay. Would stay here again! A
Wonderful property for a multi-generation family trip. Comfortable for children with a large yard to play in. Quiet beach is a short walk down the road and absolutely stunning.
The house was perfect, very beautiful and quaint. Host had everything we needed for our time there, was very responsive to any questions we had, and made recommendations for restaurants and activities in the surrounding area which we really loved. Would definitely want to stay there again with a larger group or with children in the future, it has it all!
This place was amazing. Quiet location, right near a private beach shared with a few other cottages (though we only once saw someone else on the beach), and a beautiful older house. We came up with 8 adults and 4 kids, and there was plenty of room in the house to hang out. There was also a great fire pit with a wood pile, a hammock, great grill, and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. We had a the best time showing the family Northern Michigan, and it was only 5 minutes to Harbor Springs! Kelle was a wonderful host and I would gladly stay there again. Highly recommended!
Two families with 4 kids age 8 to 12. Spent the weekend here for proximity to a tournament in Petoskey. The house is super convenient to downtown Harbor Springs for stores and restaurants. Its a surprisingly easy walk to the beach and its right on the Tunnel of Trees so the location honestly couldn't be better. Its a cute, quintessential lake/summer cabin with a lot of vintage/antique decoration. The kitchen is quite modern and has it all. There is loads of living room and lounge space. There is lots of outdoor space to run around and have a bonfire. Bathrooms are a little old fashioned but perfectly functional for all types. Beds are large and comfortable. Heat/ac is a little challenging to get right but there is plenty of it.All in all a great stay that was very comfortable for our family and met all of our needs.
The house is really tired and run down. One bedroom had a bed was inches from the ground with its head and foot boards listing into the bed. The room was uninhabitable !! Back yard has so many ant hills in was dangerous to have kids play out there, which produced mini ants in the house. Absolutely no water views for a beach house…an .over sell!!! No bars of soap in the showers, no air conditioning and porch sisal rugs were eaten by animals and moldy. We reached out the Kelli, homeowner with our reviews to no avail..the house should not be a rental. The front door had a broken window that looked like a break-in…..just tape around it. Freezer was dirty and no paper towels or napkins. It was a disaster and we left a day early.
We had a wonderful time. Relaxing. So close to the waterfront. Lots of different accessible options for adventures near the property. The location is great!
The house was exceptional, very nice location and the walk to the lake was about 200 yards no more. Everything went very well and the owner kept in contact and saw to all our needs.
