This is a unique stand alone cottage in the Princeville Paniolo condominium complex. The cottage has two large living spaces. Walk in the front door and turn right, that leads to the main living area, featuring living, dining, full kitchen with laundry, full bath and a lofted sleeping area. Take a left and you enter an oversized bedroom, with another full bath, plus extra bonus living area! A wall of windows and sliding glass doors lead to a comfortable lanai on each side. The spacious kitchen has a full complement of small appliances, dishware and tableware and has been recently updated with Quartz counters, new floors, and a new dishwasher. The lanais overlook the Prince Golf Course (currently not in use) and the path to Anini Beach. Sleeping in the loft is a queen bed (caution: this space can be quite hot much of the year). Sleeping on the bedroom side is two queen beds. Both sides have lots of light and comfortable seating. New ceiling fans have been installed in both sides of the unit. The unit offers the privacy of a single family home, located just step away from the pool in the complex. This is one of the most conveniently located properties in the Princeville at Hanalei Resort Community. It's located on the path that leads to shopping, Princeville Park, the library, and happy hour at the Westin. Add the hiking path to Anini Beach which makes this a great choice for those who enjoy walking. This unit has two reserved parking spots for your exclusive use, parking is located right at your front door. There is no parking or resort fee. An affordable destination to enjoy all of the activities the north shore has to offer! This is a non-smoking unit.

Everything was easy and accessible. Very lovely area and suitable place to stay. Only downside if you could call it that (because it wasn’t a problem for us) this unit did not have AC. There where many fans and the unit stayed very cool especially while sleeping.

Host was amazing at communicating and ensuring our stay was perfect. The place had everything as described, clean, well taken care of, and the ammenties you need for your own cottage and beach vacation. We had family of 5 and we put our teenager in the loft and us and the younger kids in the 2 bedroom area. The kids went to the daybead when they woke up early to play so that was perfect. Was an amazing gamily vacation!

Great little spot in Princeville

This was perfect for our family’s vacation. Great location, awesome hiking trail nearby to get to the beach and just a short drive down to Hanalei bay. Property was clean, the breeze at night and the added fans helped keep the place cool enough for sleeping (I’m a super must be cold sleeper! ) We would stay here again!

We stayed here for our wedding and it was so nice to be able to have space to unpack and spread out. The location is great, right as you turn into Princeville- you can easily walk over to the foodland area if you want. The pool and grill area is well maintained and it was nice to have the option to grill here. I did not even notice there was no a/c and felt nice and cool with the tradewinds. This is our 3rd time staying with Na Pali Properties and the team (Hali & Jane) have been so kind and helpful. I was able to happily reccomend them to my family who also came for the wedding.

Property is listed as sleeping 4 but can really sleep 6 which makes it a great value. It could use some updating but was very clean and functional. The manager was great to work with. We would highly recommend and would come back again!

Unit needs some updating. They measured for new kitchen countertop and dishwasher while we were there. Don't understand only initial stocking of supplies for our 3 week stay and nothing after that.VRBO fees are absurd. property manager was nice and responsive. Nice pool area.

Showed up to he property and as stated it’s at the end of the parking lot in one of the older areas in the area. The pool is pretty uneventful a little run down and small, but we use a Hawaii place as a place to sleep and base ops…so it was fine. When we walked into the house it was clean and orderly. We walked into the room with the double beds and the mold smell was overwhelming. As we walked in the rest of the house it was a little better. We ended up sleeping in the loft with fans blowing fresh air from the windows and were able to do a few nights like that. The problem we had was to keep the mold smell at bay we had to have all the windows open. Some of the screens don’t fit well and bugs get in the house…which is a bit inconvenient but it’s an adventure! After three nights we couldn’t stay there anymore. The mold won and we had to find a new place to stay. The property manager was great to work with and sympathetic to our situation. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to a friend. I understand the difficulty of keeping a property up in the tropics and actually work throughout Asia spending 120-130 nights in hotels ranging from Seoul to Saigon. That’s part of the charm of a VRBO, I can cook with my wife and have a non hotel vacation. After 13 years of different VRBO properties I have to admit this was the worst one.

Aloha Brett. I'm sorry your stay with us was not what you expected but I do feel that a one star review is unfair. You stayed at the property for 5 nights with zero word to us that there was any issues. The moment you called us, we agreed to refund you any unused nights and your deposit almost immediately after your departure without question. This unit was thoroughly inspected right before you arrived and we had no indication of a mold smell. I'm not saying that there was none to someone who may be more sensitive, but in the tropics and during very rainy and cold weather like we have been having, the wet air seeps into everything with no opportunity to dry. The unit was deep cleaned prior to your arrival and there had been no indication from previous guests of mold upsetting their stay. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay but if you had let us know early on in your visit, we may have been able to find a way to rectify the situation as we did as soon as you told us. Since your departure, the carpet has been cleaned again as wel as the additional step of bleaching the rafters and walls. Our hope is always to fix any problems that are reported to us. Our best wishes and we hope the remainder of your stay on Kauai was enjoyable.
