Perfect getaway townhome

  • 5 of 5

This is a great townhome with a garage. Just minutes away from Grand Targhee for skiing in winter, or hiking and biking in the summer months. The home was very clean and comfortable with all the bedding and furnishings. We had a little trouble with the WIFI on the 1st day of arrival (Sunday) but it was quickly resolved. The home was clearly labeled with instructions on how things are to be handled and properly maintained. I was so appreciative of the stackable washer/dryer combo too. All bedrooms are upstairs with 2 full baths and a half bath on the main floor. They even had bear spray in the storage closet in case of bear encounter on walk, jog or hike. Something I would have never thought of living in the desert of Arizona. A bear was actually reported within our community on the 4th night. We sooooo wish we could have seen it!

We didn't get to see much wildlife on our trip into West Yellowstone due the fires that were burning there (August 2016) at the time. We enjoyed the 45 min ride into Jackson Hole, and thoroughly had a blast on the Snake River for whitewater rafting, the Alpine Slide and Cowboy Coaster at the Snow King Resort. Jackson Hole is always a fun town summer or winter. The view from the top of the TRAM at Teton Village is amazing. Canoeing in Jenny Lake was also a blast. So much to see and do! We definitely recommend this townhome in the summer season and hope to try it in the winter season as well.

Wonderful home in Driggs

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house. It is cozy, very nice decorated, it has everything you need and it is close to a big grocery store. It is located in a quiet area. It was the perfect place for us. We stayed here and we drove to Yellowstone Park. It was a one day trip to Yellowstone. Not bad. We admired different places on our way to Yellowstone, and we relaxed in this beautiful home when we came back.

Great location, close to town and mountain!

  • 5 of 5

This town home was perfect for our family vacation. It had everything one could need....lots of dishes, utensils, Keurig coffee pot! great barbeque, plenty of towels and bedding, etc. The location was ideal, peaceful, yet close to activities (exactly 1.8 miles to town), nice deck and plenty of outdoor seating. We would definitely rent this town home again, and have already recommended it to friends!

House was clean and in very good condition. Would be nice to include fact that there is a Keurig coffee maker in the description. I would have brought along some k cups vice having to buy them. Grill works great. Check the tank when you arrive. I had to request a new one. We enjoyed our stay. We would come back.

Cozy cabinesk retreat in the best town in America

  • 5 of 5

From the rustic stone fireplace, cozy mountain atmosphere and the hand carved log furniture, there is no doubt that the owners value a true sense of the local economy and dedication to the National Parks of America. Just a short stroll away is the quaint town of Driggs, with friendly streets, a museum, and everything you'll need for a vacation away from home. Many come for the wonderful skiing in the winter, but choosing to stay during the summer was certainly worth it. Within a short drive we were gazing at the beauty of Grand Teton National Park, and the magnificence of Moulton Barn and as you travel further north you approach the south entry of Yellowstone National Park, with plenty of time to see Old Faithful erupt on time as it has for many years. As you make your way around the park, we were able to see a pack of gray wolves from the road, and the bison in the distance grazing. Driving back we drove over the mountains on a winding road, with turnouts filled with spectacular views. This time you're at the crest of a mountain looking down at the landscape of the most iconic place in America. Just over the peak you enter into the town of Driggs, and return back home. There we were greeted with three large beds for kids, and of course the adults who are kids, as well as two additional bedrooms and 2.5 baths. You get all the amenities of your own house without ever feeling like you left the mountains. For those staying in the winter, there is a non-slip floor in the garage and plenty of space for all your gear. For the cooks out there, there are double sinks, a barbecue and plenty of cabinets and space for all your needs. The shelves are stocked with pots, pans, cups and anything you would need. There is of course fast Wi-Fi for all your photos to be uploaded, and plenty of cleaning supplies for life’s accidents. I probably sound like a broken record, but honestly it was the trip of a lifetime, complemented by a beautiful home, that made me feel welcome and comfortable. We are already planning on returning for the winter to see what new adventures we can find.
