This private 21 acre oceanfront community has 24 hour gated security and a private pier with beach access. The Spa features an indoor heated pool and hot tub(both are currently unavailable for repairs), 2 outdoor pools, 3 tennis courts, shuffleboard, a playground and an exercise room all surrounded by old live oak trees in a secluded location between nature preserve parks.
Our villa is fully furnished with lots of extras including hairdryers, iron and ironing board, fans in both bedrooms, beach chairs and toys, games, books and magazines. It is located in the building closest to the water on the 2nd floor and boast a relaxing outdoor patio overlooking a tranquil lagoon where you can enjoy your morning coffee or frosty beverage while feeling the ocean breeze against your face. Cable on all 3 TVs and Wifi are available for your convenience. The villa is professionally cleaned after every rental to ensure it's ready for your next visit. I provide all sheets, towels, pillows, and blankets as well as a starter roll of paper towels, toilet tissue and a trash bag. All you need to provide are additional paper products and trash bags, personal hygiene items, and detergents.
You are not going to find a shoreline filled with beach umbrellas and chairs — just wide open sand to walk in solitude and observe nature. Hilton Head Island is shaped like a foot with the sole of the foot on the Atlantic Ocean. We are located on the heel of the foot as the Atlantic turns up into the Port Royal Sound. If you look out to the right, you see the Atlantic ocean. If you look to the left, you see the Port Royal Sound. Because we are located where the land mass turn inward, we do not have the large waves for surfing and playing in the ocean but if you want to play in the ocean, there are several beaches within a short drive or bike ride away. The beach is more suitable for beach combing, walking, biking, fishing, wildlife observation, and digging for clams. It is the perfect place for small children who don’t care for large, strong waves and who like to collect sand dollars and shells. You will be able to see herons, egrets, fiddler, hermit and sand crabs and maybe even sea turtle hatchlings on your evening stroll along the coast.
The villa is just minutes away from public beach access points if you prefer a more traditional beach to frolic in the waves. There are over 60 miles of public pathways and nature trails for biking. Local bike rental services can drop off and pick up bike rentals.
You will find several grocery stores, many unique shops, a new mall, chain stores and various types of restaurants within a few miles of the resort. The Tanger Outlet Mall is just a short drive back over the bridge to the mainland.
Over 20 public championship golf courses are ready to provide an enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities. Since the birth of its first course in 1961, Hilton Head Island has grown into what Golf Digest readers have named No. 10 on its list of the world's best golf resorts.
***We are located on the second floor which requires one and a half flights of stairs... which are a breeze... but wanted to make sure any wheelchair or elderly concerns are noted as well as small children that might need to be carried. There are no elevators at The Spa.***

About Keith and Brandi Silver
We are a house divided! My husband loves the mountains and I love the coast. We currently live in western North Carolina and enjoy the beautiful scenic mountains most of the year but escape to our beach house whenever possible!
Keith and Brandi Silver purchased this Villa in 2015
Why Keith and Brandi Silver chose Hilton Head Island
My family has vacationed on Hilton Head Island for several years. In 2012, we discovered The Spa on Port Royal Sound; a hidden gem! After being a guest for several years we decided to purchase a villa and now have our own place at the beach. We decided on The Spa because of the proximity to the water, which makes for great fishing! The beautifully landscaped property surrounding the development and the drastic tides were hard to ignore. We fell in love with this area and hope you will also!
What makes this Villa unique
The View is amazing! Sitting on the swing overlooking the ocean watching the sunrise is priceless! The Spa is a truly unique secluded resort. Come see for yourself!

Loved the beach area. This was perfect for my nature loving family. We enjoyed searching for shells, finding ocean life, and even got to rescue a live stranded horseshoe crab! Close to Coastal Discovery museum, Pinckney Island, and Jarvis Creek. Great place to relax and unwind. Sufficient furnishings for a family of four. 2 adults/2 kids. Kids enjoyed the bunks and the area around the hotel (pools, tennis courts, etc.) Also, in walking/biking distance to an earthen army fort, a Gullah Settlement park, and a beach park with nice boardwalks. Not a brand new place, but comfortable and homey. We will definitely be back.
Lovely place to stay, loved the close access to the beach and the pool was great as well
Wonderful location, pleasant accomodations, lots to do
Our condo unit was very beach cottage in decor. From our second floor deck we could see the ocean that was only a two minutes walk from our front door. The unit itself was clean and generously sized for the dollar. Some elements, however, where showing their age. The vinyl plank flooring in the master bed room was lifting to the extent that I was concerned I might trip over a loose plank. Also the area carpet in the living room was in poor shape. However these two exceptions could not distract us from the wonderful experience we had. There is a whole world of opportunitis for the visitor to Hilton Head island. We enjoyed exploring the beaches, the dining opportunities, and the cultural heritage of the Gullah people. In just one week were were unable to even dent the opportunities available. We are looking forward to revisiting next year, probably for twice as long as this year.
Met all of our needs.
The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Not fancy, but neither are we. Met our needs perfectly. Beautiful location. The owners are wonderful to work with.
Definitely a home away from home
We stayed here for my son’s graduation from the Marines. It’s about 40-45 minutes away but we’ll worth the trip. Keith and Brandi are phenomenal! They are so accommodating and their condo is a definitely a home away from home!
Wonderful Family Beach Getaway
Clean, quiet, comfortable, and cozy for our family of 5 (with 3 young school-aged children). Plenty of space. Close proximity to the uncrowded beachfront was ideal for our beach combing trips. Kitchen was well stocked. Having a full size washer and dryer was a big plus. The toys and games were also a big hit. We did have to get a bit creative with seating for meals though. Dining area is essentially a breakfast nook; with comfortable seating for 3 adults. We added the beach chair (s), when needed. Overall, we had a great time. This was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway trip.
Thank you so much for staying with us and the review! We do plan to increase the dining area this summer. When we had the nook built and installed, it was much smaller than we specified!
