This property was even better than pictured! What a beautiful spot-we can’t recommend the property and the hosts enough. You won’t regret staying here!
Incredible location, views, and spaces! Dock was perfect for boating and house deck is positioned perfectly for shade and sun. Well kept grounds and lighting.
We had a great family vacation here. Nice amenities and close to Philipsburg for needed items. Enjoyed ease of launching boat which was very close by and being able to dock at property.
We have stayed at this property 3 times and absolutely love it. Beautiful home, location and very conveniently located to ski at Discovery. We hope to be back again next year!
We have stayed here twice now and it’s amazing! Love this place, so cozy and accommodating with beautiful views over the lake! And 5 mins away from discovery ski area!
Great VRBO- fantastic views! The house was nice and clean. Close to Anaconda and Phillipsburg for day outings. Nice evening using the fire pit (think ahead and buy hot dogs and s’mores).
We stayed in late June and the weather and views were amazing the entire week. There was enough space for us all and was the perfect spot to relax, disconnect, cook and spend quality time with our family.
The hosts were very communicative and check-in/out was super easy.
We’ll be back if we’re ever in the area again.
This place exceeded expectations. Very well furnished and stocked for a great stress free time. The pictures don’t begin to do justice to the view. Weather was fantastic and lake was refreshing. Thanks for providing such a great place!
We were so happy with our stay - the cabin and property were beautiful… a great mix of modern comfort. Plenty of space for our group of 12, we fished, played cornhole, caught crawdads and enjoyed the awesome views. Indoors we played games at the dining table and found plenty of reading nooks. Memories were made for the whole family.
We had a fantastic time during our stay! Plenty of room for us to be together or spread out when we wanted. The amenities were fun for all ages, and the close proximity to Discovery made this property ideal for our family. And the view of lake, well I'm speechless. Thank you for sharing with us!

Awesome Cabin
We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was awesome to work with and super accommodating! We hosted a small wedding ceremony during our stay and the scenery made for an amazing backdrop! Highly, highly recommend this cabin and fully intend to use it again in the future. The furnishing were very nice, bedding soft and comfy, plus they had all necessities -- right down to extra bathroom toiletries ! We enjoy every minute of our time here!!

Thanks Hope, it really is hard to beat those mountain views! We'll look forward to next time.
Great house and even better views. Morning coffee on the back porch was lovely. Nice, calm water, perfect for paddle boarding. House and especially kitchen was well stocked. We had many dinners at the house with no issues. We rented a boat from the marina, docked it at the house and all was easy. We will be back.
Our weekend stay in this house was perfect. Being able to hang out in the living room and look at that view was amazing. It was a birthday weekend for three of us and we got a great gift, moose coming right up to the house. We snowshoed around the lake one day and skied up at Discovery another day. It was a wonderful weekend. The host was great. He called and checked in before we got there and I had his number in case we needed him at all for the weekend.

Perfect getaway to enjoy Georgetown lake and Discovery
My friends and I booked this cabin over the holidays as a base to enjoy some skiing at Discovery. The cabin itself is gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations and if you have not skied at Discovery, you're missing out on a hidden gem!
The location was excellent: just a 15 minute drive to charming Philipsburg (and it's awesome brewery) and 10 minute drive to Discovery, but right on the lake with one of the best views of the mountain range. Plenty of parking with a covered garage.
Inside, everything is literally brand new and well designed. Comfortable furniture and beds, plenty of pots and pans to cook with and really nice bathrooms. Loved the radiant heating to keep my feet warm in the winter.
The owner was very easy to work with, answered all my questions and made arrival a breeze.
Overall, highly recommended. I will be booking again!!

Thanks for visiting and thanks for the nice comments. We agree, Discovery is always a great place to ski and the snow has been great! Hope you can come back soon.
The photos of this listing are extremely accurate. The lakefront view you will have is amazing. So peaceful to sit out on the deck and watch the sky's reflection in the water. You can de-stress here. 🙂
There are large comfy rooms facing the water with large windows so, even indoors, you are constantly enjoying that lovely view. (We were surprised that the house is located so close to the road - however, traffic is extremely light and you will not be bothered by road noise).
It was just my husband and I on this trip, but this house is set up well for larger families with kids' rooms downstairs and the beautiful, huge master, up. The bed is super comfortable. There are lots of games to play and a large TV too with a little fridge and counter space upstairs too.
Just a lovely, fun place to stay to do as much or as little as you want.
My east coast family rented Pintler Peaks to spend time with our Montana family and friends. The house is a designer’s dream from the polished concrete floors to the high end appliances. While the house was modern and beautiful, it was also very comfortable and easy to be in. Various people commented how the couch was so comfortable they couldn’t get out of it. The lake is right there and we spent many hours on the deck and the dock gazing at the (still snow covered) mountains and watching the kids jump off the dock into the still frigid water!
The house is well appointed with so many things provided. Quality bedding and comfortable beds! The loft space is great for watching TV and providing an alternate living space if you have multiple families or teens that may need their own area.
Call ahead if you want to rent kayaks or fishing boats as the local marina has limited inventory. We loved our time at Pintler Peaks. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had and I attribute that to the obvious care and attention to detail the owners have for their home. ❤️

Stunning home in a great location
The Pintler Peaks cabin is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a brand new construction designed with a very modern look. The furniture and layout is absolutely gorgeous. It’s definitely been designed for groups in mind as there’s 2 great areas to hang out (the kitchen/living room, and then the upstairs great room. We spent most of our time by the open kitchen/dining/living room). I also really enjoyed the large dining room table, which had plenty of room for 8 of us (and could probably fit up to 12 people). The couch in the living room is large and comfortably fit all of us as we were just hanging out, playing games together, and just relaxing. It could even be used as an extra sleeping spot if needed.
The bathrooms are gorgeous, well stocked, and well designed. For a group of 8 of us we had no problems since the 3 bathrooms were very convenient. The washer/drier was also handy so we could dry off our wet ski gear.
The bedrooms were spacious, with plenty of closet space, and the beds were absolutely comfortable (in fact, now I want to upgrade my matresses with the ones from this cabin).
Waking up every morning to these views was just breathtaking. I loved how the living room has large windows so we could just enjoy the view at all times of the day.
The garage fit 2 large cars comfortably and there was driveway space outdoor for more cars if needed.
The kitchen was well stocked and the induction oven was great for cooking on, especially since it meant we wouldn’t potentially burn ourselves. Fridge, dishwasher, sink, etc all worked great. Oddly enough, one of the things I noticed was the amazing lighting in the kitchen - the owners clearly put some thought into it. Not only does it look gorgeous, but it made things easier and more functional for cooking for 8+ people. Having the bar stools on the other side of the counter also meant people could hang out while some others were cooking.
We spent a few days skiing here and after coming off the slopes, I always love to soak in a hot tub. Despite not being on the listing, we were surprised to find a hot-tub had been installed just before our visit! There were some installation issues and the owner isn’t sure if it’ll remain, but he was amazing with ensuring we could use it for an hour after we came in from the slopes.
Overall this is just a stunning home, super comforatble, and great for groups. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the cabin again and enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities nearby!

About the host
Your host
Born and raised in Montana, our family has spent time all over the country and found that nothing beats a visit to the mountains in Big Sky Country.
Why they chose this property
Georgetown Lake has it all. One of Montana's best fly-fishing lakes, it's also a short drive from the many Blue Ribbon trout streams that make this area famous. Summers are dry and warm, perfect for waterskiing and outdoor recreation, while winters dump the cold smoke snow that draws skiers from around the world. Situated along the Pintler Scenic Route, we're only 15 minutes from the old mining town and tourist destination of Philipsburg, and 20 minutes from historic Anaconda and its world-class Old Works Golf Course.
There aren't many vacation rentals at Georgetown with lake frontage, but you found one! Step from the lawn into the lake for a swim, or bring your boat and make use of our private dock. And nowhere has better views of the Pintler Mountains reflecting off this beautiful lake. With a drink in hand, you may never want to leave your seat on the deck watching eagles and ospreys fish and the occasional moose wander (or swim!) by.
Touring Montana? There's no better place for a break along the way. Georgetown is about halfway between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, and a short drive from Bozeman, Missoula, Butte, Helena and other destinations in western Montana.
