When making a reservation, you must be 25 to rent with us. We do not rent to locals.
All guests must sign an Affordable Large Properties rental agreement and also submit a copy of their Drivers License to Affordable Large Properties. Also, the renter must be 25 years of age or older. Affordable Large Properties will cancel the reservation if you are under the age of 25 and or a local.

All cancellations incur a $150 Cancellation Fee, the Security Deposit Waiver, and the Booking Fee

Cancel 60+ days before arrival: Deposit is refundable minus cancellation fees

Cancel less than 60 days: No refund unless re-rented; cancellation fees still apply

Nice place for a golf trip or a couple wanting to be close to the island

Condo is a nice place for a golf trip or a couple wanting to be close to the island. It wasn’t as dirty as I expected based on previous reviews. It was nice. Check in was easy. And I was satisfied overall. I asked if the condo was ready an hour early and was told that it was but it would cost me an additional $25 to get in early. This was ridiculous when it’s simply a door code and I was looking to get into a place that was already ready but it wasn’t the arbitrary time of 4pm.

quaint condo

Arrived in winter and activities were limited due to cold. Easy drive to beach. Condo on 3rd floor with many steps. Great for 2 couples and private enough with bedrooms on opposite sides for living area.

Nothing great

Was disappointed with Gina- the manager. Was not helpful or very nice. Dealing with the text operator is the way to go, way more helpful. There were pills on the floor of the King size room, clearly had t been vacuumed well, glad we didn’t have a small child who could have swallowed them. Great location to the VAC, however, we were told there was a tiki bar and it never opened and you weren’t allowed to have outside drinks. Also, pool not opening until 11am was kind of a bummer. Would definitely stay at Oyster Bay over Sea Trail.

Great location with a few hiccups along the way

The number one advantage to this property is the proximity to the Sunset Beach causeway. With just a short 2 minute drive you can go from the condo to the beautiful Sunset beach. The challenges started after booking this property through VRBO. Almost immediately I was contacted by some 3rd party asking me to sign rental agreements (more than one) and I didn’t recognize the company name so after first I ignored it. They also had a different 3rd party company insist on me scanning or photographing my identity (drivers license) and emailing it to them. I explained over and over that both federal and state authorities say to never send copies of a drivers license through email. Doing so makes one vulnerable to identity theft. Before the reservation date I got noticed from a 3rd company asking me to sign an agreement to be able to access the swimming pool on the property. Why they have three different companies asking for separate contracts to be signed is beyond me. It was a big hassle. This particular unit is overlooking the parking lot, so that’s not great. But, we spent most of our time at Sunset Beach or eating in one of the many local seafood restaurants. Overall, the property was fine. The separate Managment companies were a big hassle. But, the location was great for our needs.

Fun Family Getaway!

Sibling Retreat! Was fun and relaxing. We ate way too much and the accommodations were good. Need to upgrade the mattress and the fan in the bathroom of the second bedroom. Overall we would do it again!

Nice unit, Amenities described incorrectly

The unit overall was very nice, however, the amenities were upsetting. The outdoor tiki bar was shut down (looks like it had been for a long time) and you had to go inside resort restaurant to get a drink which took 20-30 min wait. The indoor/outdoor pool shut down at 8pm (which was not described or we would’ve stayed elsewhere). The game room consists of a pool table and dartboard. Was so small that you couldn’t play pool without hitting the wall. The cornhole was inside the sitting area in restaurant (up against a fence) and the bags were destroyed so we weren’t able to play. My family and I enjoy the beach during the day and amenities in the evening when we stay somewhere and this resort was quite upsetting in this area. Only 1 fast food option in a 5 mile radius and 2 options which are 15-18 min away. Not a commercialized beach which was amazing and very family oriented, however, our family like to enjoy the amenities when not at the beach. Hope this helps someone when looking for your next stay.

Easy check in, clean property

Loved it here! Was perfect for what we wanted - a quiet place to stay with easy access to the island. Only 10ish minutes from the condo to Calabash.

Getaway

The unit was very nice, however, it would have been nice to have a TV channel lineup (myself and others have Directv) There was a DVD player in the living room but it was not connected. The thermostat was difficult to understand until I found out I could program it. Instructions would have been nice.

Wonderful rental

This property was perfect me my two kids and I. It was clean, spacious, and good location to activities in the local areas. The checking in and checking out process was easy and anytime I had a question the response time and willingness to help me was awesome! Will definitely be staying at this location if I get the chance to make it out to North Carolina again.

The unit was beautifully decorated, clean and laid out well. Beautiful pool. Great restaurants nearby. Our only hassle was driving to the beach and finding parking close to the ocean that was free.

Great location

We were very happy with this condo rental. It is central to everything you could want for a beach vacation - short distance to the beach, walking distance to the activity center, great restaurants, and not far from Myrtle. We had a few items out of place or not working, but we were able to resolve them ourselves (one TV was unplugged and one curtain was stuck open). Communication with the property manager was a breeze and they were very helpful with check in. Overall a great experience!
