What a wonderful week!

Our stay at Loggerhead Cay was wonderful! The communication with our host made our check-in simple and easy. The unit was spacious, tastefully decorated, and we had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our time in Sanibel. The pool is very nice, but our focus was spending time at the gorgeous beach. We will definitely book a stay here again!

Quick anniversary trip

The property is in pretty good shape considering a hurricane took out the whole island. The accommodation were very nice. We would stay at loggerhead again at a not so busy time of the year. I would recommend loggerhead to my friends

Clean and great location

Check out procedure should be included in the arrival envelope. I did not open the email until I was at the airport. This was my mistake but I was embarrassed to have not put bedding in the washer. This was a great place. Thank you.

My only complaint is that the kitchen wasn't as well-equipped as other units we have stayed in. Several of the pots we needed for cooking did not have lids.

We strolled the beach every day and enjoyed looking for shells. We also rented bikes and rode all over the island. We never ate a meal at the same place because we wanted to try as many places as possible and we were never disappointed. We found the condo very neat and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. This was a great place to relax and have some fun.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 10th visit to Sanibel Island and we have never stayed anywhere but Loggerhead Cay. The property is still beautiful even its recovery stage from Hurricane Ian. The condo was in Tip top shape and very well equipped with all the day to day needs. You don’t even notice the subtle maintenance going on to make repairs. The inner courtyard and pool are still very beautiful. The beach and shelling were amazing as the fishing the best around. We caught many snapper, snook, and jacks during our stay. The only downside was there are limit places to dine but more are opening each day. It’s different lost hurricane but it is still the most beautiful place in the world. The locals still say they are 3 years from full recovery. Loggerhead cay has done a wonderful job making sure accommodations were available. The staff at Sanibel Holiday was very helpful and checked in on us several times via text and phone calls. I highly recommend both Sanibel Holiday and Loggerhead cay.

It needs changing. Unit was good size, some things a bit dated, but pics accurate. Couches and carpet could use a refresh. Overall a good unit, would be excellent with those couple changes. Other than Red Tide beginning to move in, the week was amazing! The weather was great and we spent most of our time enjoying the beaches up and down the coast from Sanibel to Captiva. Loved the shops and grocery stores. We so enjoyed just relaxing and spending time with good friends. Would definitely book there again. Even played Powerball to try to win enough to not go back!

Unfortunately, we had noisy neighbors. We could hear the people in the unit above walking. The unit above and to the right was was having new laminate flooring and baseboards installed. I guess this is all part of condo living but it was irritating to us. We will try to stay in top floor units from now on.

Quiet and Family Oriented

This is our second time staying at Loggerhead Cay. The property is outstanding! Beautiful, maintained pool. Our unit was a bit dated, as the bathrooms need updated as well as some of the living room furniture but it did not distract from our vacation.

Ocean front

The complex was in a great location. The ocean and pool were amazing. The condo was nice it had a very well supplied kitchen, beach chairs, floats and an beach umbrella. It needed a good deal clean and the light and fan in the second bedroom bath would work sometimes but not work other times. The exhaust fan in that bathroom was louder then loud. Over all after we vacuumed and wiped off the counters it was a great vacation.
