An all new, beautifully remodeled condo with 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft & 2 full baths located beachside, just off Middle Gulf Drive. Centrally located to everything you want to enjoy and experience while you are on the island!

As you enter, you are welcomed by coastal inspired furniture and décor and an open concept living space. Prepare meals in the chef’s dream kitchen that is fully stocked with everything you need (we even have a slow cooker!) for a basic meal or gourmet feast! There is space at the bar for 2 or a dining table that easily seats 6.

The living room is the perfect place to relax after a day spent on the beach, beside the pool or exploring the island. Comfortably furnished with a couch and 2 chairs arranged around a large smart TV (Xfinity Streaming), it’s the ideal spot to gather at the end of the day. Just beyond the living room is your private screened-in lanai, ideal for outdoor dining, family time over a board game or a quiet spot to unwind and read a book!

The spacious primary bedroom feels like a tropical paradise with stylish furniture, décor and linens. Features include a luxurious king-sized bed, smart TV (Streaming Apps) and sliders that lead to the lanai where you can enjoy views of the tropical landscape that surround the property. The newly updated en-suite bathroom has a beautifully tiled walk-in shower and a large vanity.

This unit accommodates up to 7 and your guests couldn’t be more comfortable! The main floor bedroom offers a queen and twin sized bed and smart TV (Streaming Apps). Another gorgeous bathroom is just around the corner and offers a combination tub/shower. Additional sleeping space is just upstairs in the sleeping loft with 2 full sized beds.

The owner provides many amenities for the perfect beach vacation. Beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, tennis and pickleball rackets, Keurig coffee maker, washer/dryer, 3 smart TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Coquina Beach is a small, family-friendly 40-unit complex with a heated pool, tennis/pickleball courts and grilling area.

Sanibel Holiday's units are equipped with the latest Wi-Fi enabled locks offering easy check in and check out with no need to pick up or return keys. Everyone in the family can have access with one simple and, most importantly, secure code.

This location definitely met our expectations! The pictures on the site were current, and our girls loved sleeping in the loft that is accessed by a spiral staircase. Everything was very clean, and I really loved the fact that the kitchen was stocked with all the essential tools for us to be able to make our own meals (cost effective!). Very much appreciated the beach stuff provided for guest use as well (chairs, umbrella, inflatable rafts, shell "stuff", etc.). We even visited the pool one day, and it was wonderful here as well.

A little disappointed in the cleanliness, couch was very dirty, curtains in living room were hanging down on one side,stain on wall in kitchen,looked like juice or wine, and some of the dishes were dirty. Unit did come with beach chairs and umbrellas. Only one umbrella was usable and on the smaller side. Even with these complaints,love coming to Sanibel. Always a wonderful time and hard to go home. Probably wouldn't stay at this particular unit again.

Almost Everything You Could Want

Great space and location. Almost everything you could want in the interior. The only drawback was the lanai. It overlooked the parking lot but had nice foliage for privacy. That itself would have been fine for us. However, so many left over beach chairs, umbrellas and other assorted, and in many cases broken, equipment was stored there that it did not make for a fully usable, or relaxing space. Also a couple of holes in the screen, near the base, had let a wasp into the area. Though management came out to kill it, they did not repair screen or remove wasp nest directly outside the screened in area. This made the thought of fully using this area even less desirable.

The condo was perfect for our family of 5 (kids ages 6, 4, 2) and there was just the right amount of space for us. Loved the decor and furnishings, updated just right. Kitchen was well stocked for the most part. The lanai was a great place to enjoy a couple family meals, we appreciated that it was screened in all the way so that we didn't have to worry about our 2 year old slipping through any railings. It was also very private with the tree branches. Given that we flew to FL and didn't drive, it was SUPER helpful that the condo included beach towels, sand toys, and even a beach bag. Huge plus for us! The only thing missing from this place was a beachview, but the quick walk out the door to the beach made it all worth it!!

Sanibel Holiday, the management company, was a dream to work with, very accessible, as was the owner. Beds were comfy, and the linens were good quality. The living room furniture was great, too. The kitchen was stocked very well, plenty of large pans, bowls, and more than enough plates, bowls, and cups. The kitchen table easily seats 5, but any more than that and you'll hit your head on the staircase. The barstools are nice, but not easy to use as the table is too close to them and a few of the tiles are chipped under the feet, making them hard to pull in and out. The two bedrooms stay nice and dark, allowing tired guests to sleep in, but the loft with two beds is extremely bright as there are no curtains and no way to block the sunlight. Getting luggage up to the loft was also difficult on spiral stairs, so we just let everything on the main level. Both bathrooms were great. The pool is nice; it starts at 4ft and goes to 8ft (just a note for parents of smaller kids). We loved the beach gear the condo had! The beach chairs were a huge bonus. Our rainy day wasn't a problem due to the games left in the cabinet for us. The beach is easily accessible, great shelling at your door. Amazing sea life, too. We found star fish, hermit crabs, saw sting rays, many birds, and sand dollars to name a few. Bug spray is a MUST. The mosquitos and noseeums are unreal, we were all eaten alive every time we walked out of the condo to the car or beach. Parking is tight- our large SUV barely made it. The only real downside was the the entire condo facility isn't non-smoking (which I didn't realize when booking). The screened-in patio smelled of smoke, and we left the pool area a few times because of the number of people smoking. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the condo was great for what we needed. Our whole family fell in love with the beauty of Sanibel Island. I'm sure we'll be back!

“Better than Disney”

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took our kids to Orlando every winter for several years. Last year during covid we just wanted to get away- so we went to Sanibel. This is the second time we have stayed at Coquina Beach condos but in a different unit this time. All of my children have stated that going to Sanibel Island these past two years have been “better than Disney”. We loved the quiet beaches (at least during off season). A bonus was the 2 bikes that came with the unit. There were beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs. If there was anything as a “down side” it would be the couple of broken beach chairs on the back patio. We took one down to the beach before we realized it wasn’t useable. The kitchen could also use a few more pot holders. Otherwise our stay was wonderful. We will return- if we are able to.

Needs repair

We have traveled to Sanibel many times and have always been completely satisfied with our stay. This was our first time to stay consecutive two weeks. This was our first stay in this particular condo. The unit has visual evidence of inferior mold. All of the air vents had mold growing on them. The master bath had a spot of mold on the ceiling approximately 4-5 inches in diameter. The entire unit had an excessive amount of dust on furniture, etc. The loft (bedroom) area has streaks of water damage extending down the wall from the ceiling/ roof area that is approximately 4ftX 4 ft. I would not recommend this particular unit if you have any allergies! Unfortunately, I suffered the entire two weeks. Upon contacting the rental agency, I received no response. Things that I probably would not have mentioned if the unit had been in better condition : beach chairs are old and need replacing; a keyless entry would be nice, updated furniture (or at least cleaned) needed in the living room , and mattresses need replacing. We won’t stay in this unit again and I would not trust Sanibel Holiday as a rental agency. I have never given a poor review, but this unit is a miserable trap for anyone who has allergies!

I'd love to contact the owners directly to avoid fees here in the future! We'll be back!We loved the condo. It is perfect for a family! We have 3 kids but would have been fine with 4 kids, maybe even 5 if one took the couch. The 5 total beds and 2 bathrooms was just perfect. My youngest loved the loft area, and my oldest loved her own room with 2 beds. They played in both areas in the evenings and loved the spaces. Chairs and beach/pool items were a blessing and not too broken down like other places. The grill area was perfect for lunches for us, and nobody was ever down there. It was very close to the beach just as the listing says, and we walked down there frequently. It was nice having the option of the beach and the pool at about the same walking distance. The kids loved it all. The property was just what you would expect and more. Everything is there that a large family would need to cook. Perfect seating areas for eating and relaxing. We never use the TVs or other electronics while on vacation, but if you like to watch TV or movies, they have it all. One of the best things about the place was the good A/C. Many of these condos have A/C that isn't strong enough to keep up, but this one kept us super comfortable. Perfect location for us with kids and bikes. We could ride to lunch or dinner easily at anywhere on this side of the island. We also easily rode down to the Lighthouse beach several times and enjoyed the shops and breakfast at the Lighthouse Café. When we were down that way, we also liked the Ice-cream next door to the Lighthouse Café, but we had to drive to the best Ice-cream at Joey's Custard, so that's the only downside for me (I'm a huge Ice-cream fan, haha). We've been to Sanibel a few times and Anna Maria also, and we love Sanibel the most, and so far, we ranked this stay with this condo and location the best for us in the last 6 years.
