North Hollywood Nest

I stayed at Gil’s property for 6 weeks while I was waiting for the home I had purchased to close and begin renovation. Gil maintains a very clean, safe and modern property. He also allows pets which was the primary reason I made my reservation with him.

Excellent

Our experience was just great in this premise! The owner was waiting for us to check in his house in the outside and gave me verbal instructions in details very kindly in the middle of night. House was very clean and bright and well equipped with all we needed for all family members for 5 people.

North Hollywood Vacation Rental

The home was spotless! Neighborhood is quiet. The owner is very accommodating. We asked for a fan and he left one for us that day. Suggestion: a wash cloth and a second bath towel in the bathrooms would be helpful.

Overall pleasant stay

This unit is nicely decorated and comfortable. Online pictures are accurate. I especially liked the fact that it’s enclosed by privacy fence and you can park inside the fencing. The kitchen lacked cake pans and baking sheets which made using the oven difficult and the washer/dryer were only available for use 9am-7pm which wasn’t convenient given we were typically exploring the city in those time frames. However, the management was very responsive and kind and the unit itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The good -The pictures are accurate. It looks just updated. Comfortable clean beds. Gated parking. TVs in every room with Roku. Hair dryer. Property owner lives adjacent. The bad- no wash cloths, didn't know what they were for. Floors dirty. Only had 2 half rolls of toilet paper. No fan in MB or portable fan. Not in service on washer/dryer, owner said they trip breaker if ran between 7pm and 9 am

This was a great property. Very close to everything. We spent two days at Universal. It was about an 8 minute drive. Lots of great restaurants just minutes away. Very clean house, had everything you would need!! Only downfall was the washer and dryer were not working during our stay. We had four children with us and I packed accordingly thinking I could do laundry. But we made do!!!! I’d stay here again!!!!

Clean and spacious

Our overall stay was great! It's a newer home so everything was very nice. It was perfect for what we needed. Conveniently located to all the places we wanted to see. Our only recommendations would be a lamp in the living room area so you don't need the bright overhead lights on if you're relaxing and some extra towels and wash cloths in bathrooms. There was only one towel in each bathroom which was fine since there was only 2 of us, but a larger group would obviously need more. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house for 2 adults and 4 children. Tastefully remodeled.

Gill, the property owner was awesome to work with. Excellent communication and got back to us quickly with any questions we had. This is a separate rear units from where the owner lives. It has a gated entrance which includes a nice large secure area to park your car. Would highly recommend this house to others. Great value fir what you get!

Fantastic Home Away From Home

We had a great stay at Gill's place. We had plenty of room and the beds and furniture were pretty comfy to us. The washer/dryer was nice and the full size shampoo and shower gel was a plus. The wifi was great and the TV has Roku so we just signed into our Netflix account to watch movies. It was easy to find using our phone map app and just minutes from the Burbank Airport. The entrance to the property is in an alley but it is clearly marked. There is a secure electronic privacy gate and there was plenty of driveway space for our full size rental car. It was perfect for our visit to universal studios and close to really yummy eating places. There's a grocery store just down the street but we didn't feel like cooking with all the great eating choices around. The Yelp app was very helpful to find where we wanted to eat each day. The house itself was very clean and roomy. Overall, we had an awesome time here. Our communication with the owner was prompt. Another review said there wasn't a hair dryer but there was one located under the sink when we were there. Overall, I don't have any complaints. It was a fantastic place and we would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic!

We stayed here for three nights and loved it! Great location right off the freeway, grocery store down the street, and a nice park/school right down the road. The unit itself is spacious, equipped, and clean. Gill was very helpful and quick to respond to the couple of questions we had upon arrival We would 100% stay here if we were in the area again. My only suggestion would be a hair dryer in the unit. Thanks for a great stay! :)
