About Frank

We've been vacationing in Schroon Lake for over 30 years. After the passing of our family patriarch, the family home on the east side of Schroon Lake was sold.

A few years passed and we missed visiting the Adirondacks, so our search for the perfect family vacation home began.

Our quest for the right house seemed endless, but we finally found the vacation home of our dreams. The house was built in 1830 and is one of the oldest houses in Schroon Lake. Many rumors surround our house, mainly told to us by local residents. We and the Historical Society are researching those rumors, one of which is that the house was part of the Underground Railroad. The Society has been in contact with an expert researcher and we have offered full access to the house in order to give him the opportunity to determine its place in History. We're anxious find learn the results of his research. A well known fact is that Together at Schroon Lake was an original part of the Schroon Lake Camp ( for Boys), which was founded by Rabbi Issac Moses in 1906. Our house is one of only a handful of homes that has access to a "Secret" tunnel, which crosses below Route 9 and gives access to our association beach. We love sharing the history of the home when our guests arrive. If you reserve our home, we will give you a tour and tell some of the stories related to the house .

Frank purchased this house in 2015

The best Schroon Lake vacation home. Ever!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and our 2 children, in addition to my brother in law and his family, chose to stay in Together at Schroon Lake over the 4th of July holiday. What a fabulous treat! Frank and his wife are lovely people. I have rented vacation properties all over the world from VRBO, and I have to say that Frank is one of the most attentive owners I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The home is clearly his pride and joy, and we appreciated the opportunity to 'borrow' it for great family time.

Some highlights:

-The game room is well stocked with games. So much to pick a game and go for it!

-The kitchen has high-end, new appliances. Wonderful to have a working and clean fridge and freezer with ample room.

-The kitchen has plenty of storage for your non perishable items. Hooray for cabinet space!!

-The beds are all new, clean, and firm. No dust, saggy mattresses, or old linens. It was great to wake up refreshed every day.

-Wi-Fi! Works throughout the house. very exciting. most rentals in this area do not have this feature.

-The tunnel to the beach: so fun!! what an interesting history this house has.

-Decor in general: beautiful landscaping, a cute bicycle out front, and fun firepit.

Thank you Frank for such memories! We look forward to returning next year.

Owner's Response: Thank you Karin for such a wonderful and detailed review. You're right, she really is our pride and joy. When we purchased her in 2015, she had already fallen into disrepair. Our mission was to save her, and then make her better. My wife and I worked countless hours restoring the beauty and luster that it seemed had long since disappeared. We continue to make improvements and add features as we are able. It is thanks to great guests like you and your family that we are able to maintain and improve our home, one of the oldest homes in Schroon. We look forward to your return next year. All the best, Frank and Ronnie

Frank is a great host and was always available if we had questions. Thanks again for allowing our family to be together at your home.

WONDERFUL weekend experience!! A+++++

  • 5 of 5

Our family had the most incredible weekend staying at this gorgeous home on Schroon Lake. Frank, the owner, gave us a great tour and took the time to explain the history of the home and several of the antiques within. You can tell that this home is well loved and has a great history. We had TONS of room for 6 adults and 2 toddlers. The kitchen was one of the nicest I have seen with brand new appliances and well stocked with anything you may need to cook with (pots, pans, utensils, plates etc.) The yard was perfect- big enough for the kids to safely run around and equipped with a fire pit that us adults thoroughly enjoyed. The proximity to the private beach (right across the street- an easy walk without kids, or a quick drive if you have kiddos) made it a breeze to spend the day at the lake. The beach had several adirondack chairs and umbrellas for us to use, which we appreciated since we forgot beach chairs! There are 2 great restaurants and a brewery less that 5 minutes from the house, making planning for our nights a cinch. The town of Lake George was about a 25 minute drive, which we didn't mind at all since we prefer to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We had a truly lovely weekend and cannot thank the Esposito's enough for letting us stay in their wonderful home.

There is no greater feeling for us than when our guests take the time to write a review to share their positive experiences. Schroon Lake has been our vacation destination for many years, and we're glad to own a historical home, and to share it with guests who appreciate it. Thank you, Frank

Charming house, great location!

  • 5 of 5

We were in town for my uncle's memorial service and needed accommodations for the extended family. We rented the farmhouse along with the lodge next door and literally could not have asked for a better arrangement. The farmhouse was great for us with countless bedrooms and beds, and a wonderful large farmhouse kitchen table. Frank was a wonderful host who made himself accessible for any of the questions we had. Thankfully he warned us of the BYOT (bring your own towels) situation way ahead of time!

Location of the house was great for us, close to 87, the town of Schroon Lake, the Mt. Severance trail head, grocery store, Dollar General, the actual lake and some pubs!

I think the first night most of us arrived summed it up for me when I walked into the kitchen with a table full of cousins I hadn't seen in years - finally Together again. Thank you, Frank, for giving us these memories.
