This is a beautiful and quintessential Canadian log cabin/chalet with all the creature comforts imaginable ( including an EV charging cable!) We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here for a family cross country skiing adventure with six of us. Waking up in the morning to watch the sun rise over the lake and the woods around through the huge windows was a glorious way to start the day.Cooking up breakfast in the well appointed kitchen was a breeze and enjoyed at the large table with comfortable chairs.In the evening we enjoyed lounging by the fire and a dip in the hot tub.The location of the chalet was perfect for us. We planned on cross country skiing on Le Petit Train du Nord. One day we started at Val- David, the other day at St Adele. Both were about a 10 min drive away. We also enjoyed skating in the woods in St Sauveur. Very impressed all these activities were free.The villages of Val David and St Sauveur are adorable with lots of cafes, bakeries, small stores and restaurants. In St Adele we enjoyed a delightful brunch at La Farandole.

Charming little chalet, amenities as advertised, great value. Hot tub was ready when we got there, and although the AC took a little while to get the interior to a comfortable temperature, it was not an issue. We were a group of 7, and everyone enjoyed the stay!

Terrific ladies ski getaway!

We were 5 women, plenty of comfortable beds and seating to enjoy a wonderful 3 night getaway. The kitchen is well appointed, the hot tub was terrific and the gas fireplace very convenient.We all agreed we'd return to this rental without hesitation!

Great getaway

Beautiful modern log home with all amenities with beautiful view on protected marsh/lake in the heart of the Laurentians. Had a wonderful extended family getaway. Everyone was impressed with the accommodations and location. We stayed in August so no issues with driving in. Only 8 minutes from Ste-Adele centre, about 15 minutes to Val David. Many hikes, lakes restaurants and other activities within a short distance. Our group participated in various hikes, zip-lining, paddle-boarding, terrace hopping and visiting art installations. Great family dinners made within a large kitchen, shred around a size-able table. Everyone loved the hot tub with teh beautiful view and we ended a couple of our evenings sitting in the Adirondack chairs around the campfire. A great nature getaway while still having internet access for those who need it. ;-)

Nice property, but some deficiencies

Our extended family (6 adults and 4 kids under 10) stayed at this property during March 2023 for 4 nights. The property itself is well-situated to the ski hills and winter activities. It's a quiet and cozy cabin. It was just a bit tight for our group of 10 - so I would say the occupancy of 12 would be very cramped. Upon arrival, we noticed that the fire alarm was chirping. We pulled it down to replace the battery, however it was a hard-wired variety with no spot for a battery back-up. It was chirping because it was past it's expiry by at least 5 years. When I messaged the property manager, I was told I must be looking in the wrong spot. I can assure you, we were not looking in the wrong spot. We were provided with 10 towels for our party of 10 for a 4-day stay. In my opinion, this is not sufficient for a property with a hot tub. When I asked the property manager for more towels, I was told I could wash the ones provided. Other small annoyances: no baking/cookie sheets, coffee filters were provided, but not the size that fit the coffee maker and no shovel. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. But the responses from the property manager (reserver.ca) were quite frustrating - especially the response to the chirping fire alarm.

Our group of 7 enjoyed our stay for one week in February. The chalet was well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed the very clean hot tub every evening after skiing. The owner was excellent at communicating with us before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend this chalet.

Magnifique, fonctionnel mais manque un d’amour..

Le chalet est magnifique, fonctionnel et bien situé. Cependant, nous avons eu un soucis avec le early check-in et les numéros d'urgence ne fonctionnaient pas. Nous avons tout de même eu une réponse rapide lorsque nous avons écrit sur Vrbo le soucis. Niveau confort, le chalet manquait un peu d'amour, ..Le balcon n'était pas dégager, il y avait un pot rempli de mégots de cigarette et l'entrée près du spa avait plein de cendre de cigarette partout. Les fenêtres et portes étaient sales. Il y avait énormément de poussière dans le chalet.. Nous avons également dû déboucher le bain à l'étage supérieur .. Ceci dit, le chalet demeure un bel endroit pour s'y reposer en famille.

Great Spot!

Stayed here with 3 buds to do some mountain biking and visit Montreal. Great trails 10 minutes away and an hour drive into the city. The beds were all comfortable, outdoor sitting was beautiful, kitchen was nice (including great bbq) and living/dining area was comfy. Couldn’t ask for more really.

A short blissful get-away.

The property was exactly as advertised. Even better that expected. Everything worked well. Lovely view, welcoming fireplace and well appointed. Hot tub was delightful.

Outstanding Cottage and Facilities

This is an excellent cottage that has brand new appliances and amenities. It includes furnished rooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a massive common area where groups can congregate. The location is perfect. You have plenty of privacy and enough distance between cottages where noise isn't an issue. The cottage is still close to Mont Tremblant and Montreal (within an hour driving distances). There are a lot of grocery stores, fast food places and an SAQ within a 10 minute driving distance. The owner provided Keurig coffee cups which was much appreciated. There were also lots of utensils and dishes in the kitchen, and 2 toasters, a wine rack, 1 oven and a microwave. The deck is massive and easily accommodate lots of people. There is also an area on the deck with mosquito netting which was much appreciated at night. The BBQ is connected to a gas line so no propane required. There is a brand new hot tub that comfortably fits 4 which is also quite nice. If I had any suggestions I would say that I wish the owner was more available via phone or email to discuss anything that cropped up after we arrived. I think there was some confusion over the best avenue to contact the owner. I texted the owner twice and also sent him a Whatsapp message but it appears he did not have a chance to review. This may have been due to the Canada Day weekend. My suggestion would be to designate one way to communicate with guests (whether it be via email. the posting contact list, or phone). The owner however did call when we were leaving inquiring about our stay which was appreciated. A fantastic trip at a great cottage!! Highly recommended.
