Ritirati in questa tranquilla casa vacanza in affitto situata sul Little Red River a soli 10 minuti da Heber e dal lago. Il tuo gruppo fino a 5 persone adorerà la nostra cabina e la zona giorno, la cucina completamente attrezzata e il doppio ponte. Il nostro ponte di pesca è tuo da usare. Prendi una giacca leggera perché può essere fresca la sera. Offriamo anche una zona salotto secondaria dietro la cabina con griglia a carbone e pozzo del fuoco a gas. Abbiamo anche un patio coperto dietro la cabina che si affaccia sul fiume. Fallo scappare.

Great little Get-A-Way!!

Nice place for a little get away! Quite street! Nice host!! And lots of fishing! So nice to sit out on the patio and look at the River! with pretty landscaping! and Lots of hummingbirds! Really enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay if you want 5 stars

This is a very nice place to stay on the river. The cabin is perfect for a couple, the river is just outside the door, and you can catch trout from the bank. 5 stars all the way.

Great stay

Overall a very good stay! Beautiful cabin, clean, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The cabin is nestled between the owner's home and neighbors but is very quiet and peaceful. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back when it's a little warmer, and hopefully, trout are biting, lol. Highly recommend!

Fall fishing

We enjoy staying in this cabin. It has everything you need and is very comfortable, quiet and clean. This was our second time to stay there and we plan on returning in the spring.

Spring Getaway

This is a great getaway cabin with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The outdoor space is amazing as is the inside. Extremely comfortable, clean, quiet and easy access. Most definitely a place that we would book again.

Trout fishing vacay

We enjoyed the location and experience of the cabin! Our boys were able to access the Little Red River and fish throughout the day! The owners were knowledgeable and good hosts! We’ll be back!

Great hospitality and beautiful view

Ron and Ginger were wonderful hosts and gave us a lot of information for things to do and places to go. The cabin was beautiful and perfectly stocked. The views were amazing. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the river. We didn’t catch any fish this time but it was a lot of fun trying.

Quiet and peaceful

Ron was an amazing host, very polite, watching the hummingbirds and the sun rise on the dock is just what we needed. Perfect get away from the city I live in. We will be back!!

Short trip with grands

The cabin was very nice, has everything that you need. The owners are great host. Ron took our group out fishing on his boat. The gran-daughter and I got fly fishing lessons we are now hooked. We can't wait to visit them again.

Great trip

Our stay here was wonderful. The cabin was comfortable and well stocked. The view from the back porch was beautiful. The river was extremely peaceful. Ron and Ginger treated us like family. Ron took time out of his day and even fished with me for awhile. We were looking for a place to rest and unwind and this was perfect. We will stay here again.

WOW---this was a great father and son getaway trip. Ron was an excellent host; he even helped us catch a lot of fish off the dock. Everything was just as expected. Will definitely return!

Sweet cottage

I reserved the cottage for a Father’s Day weekend for my husband. He recently started trout fishing and this weekend was my gift to him. It was really hot that weekend so he limited his fishing time but enjoyed it. The cottage is just a few steps from the owner’s home which is convenient. The beautiful property had lots of options for sitting outside and watching the river roll by. The cottage was perfect for our weekend get away.

We couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay in Heber Springs. Ron was the best host I’ve ever experienced. The kindest man! Shared fishing tips and advice, lures and was sure to check in on us when a storm blew through. The house was perfect, the views were amazing and the fishing was good! We are already wanting to plan a trip back. It was the best weekend getaway.

Great river getaway

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the Cabin at Cow Shoals. We’ve visited the area for over 20+ years, and this was the absolute best rental ever. The cabin was well stocked, with all the little details taken care of. Ron and Ginger were terrific hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. Ron took us fishing one afternoon, and my lifetime fish count has easily doubled after his lessons. We can’t wait to return so I can practice setting the hook! Seriously, I’ve stayed at 5-star resorts that didn’t take care of me as well as we were taken care of at the Cabin at Cow Shoals! I know this will make it harder for us to get future reservations, but don’t pass up an opportunity to stay here!

Great Fly Fishing Trip to The Little Red (Cow Shoals)

What a great place to stay and fish! Ron and Ginger are wonderful people and treat you like family. CoCo was great too (Yorkie). Cabin at the Shoals has everything you need. It's super clean, quiet and comfortable. The natural scenery of this place is a must see. Ron is a wealth of knowledge on fly fishing and fishing in general. He knows patterns of trout, types of flies and where to fish. Ginger and Ron are also very helpful with local knowledge. If you want to see wildlife, this is the place. We saw deer, owls, geese, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, butterflies and a ton of lighting bugs. If you are a star gazer, this is also a great place to gaze. Our fishing trip was great and we caught a ton of fish. We will be back! Joel (Pineville, Louisiana)

My wife Ginger and I are retired transplants from Little Rock. We have been fishing the river for 25 years and bought our place twelve years ago.

Our cabin is a modern cabin that appeals to the fishermen but also to the women that come also. We have three different decks that look out at the river. All of the comforts of your home are here along with the tranquil sound of the river.

We are just a short distance from Greers Ferry Lake, the Toy Train Museum, Sugar Loaf Mountain for hiking, and Bridal Veil Falls, a stunning waterfall.
