The River Retreat tiene un entorno tranquilo en el río Brazos, lo que le permite relajarse y disfrutar de la hermosa vista del río. A poca distancia del Parque Estatal Mammoth, el zoológico Cameron Park, el aeropuerto regional de Waco. 15 millas al mercado de Magnolia y menos que eso al estadio McLane, Baylor University, Dr. Pepper Museum, Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, Waco Suspension Bridge, numerosos establecimientos de comida, vida nocturna, antigüedades y tours.

Recientemente y completamente renovado, está bellamente decorado y muy limpio. Doble horno, juego completo de ollas y sartenes, cafetera Keurig, tetera eléctrica, tostadora, microondas y lavavajillas. Estacionamiento cubierto iluminado, sala de estar grande y cómoda, más sala de sol cerrada. Gran patio cercado perfecto para juegos al aire libre, más un pozo de fuego para s'mores junto al río.

The Retreat was perfect for our family! Quiet and cozy. We very much appreciated all the details put into the comfort and cuteness of the house. It was hard to get out of the lush beds. The location by the river was great and we loved the outdoor space. Linda has thought of everything you could need!

This was a lovely little cottage very close to the river and you can walk down to the river from the cottage. The host, Linda, was very kind and gracious and had lots of “extras” like popcorn and granola bars and water for guests and she has a wonderful flair for decorating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Wonderful Retreat for a Girls Trip

We had a wonderful stay! The place was super cute, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly responsive and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place so much! So inviting and peaceful! My kids absolutely enjoyed it, they enjoyed the nearby creek which kept them pretty busy! Neighbor was very friendly also and let us use his property to access the creek! The aesthetic of the house felt so nostalgic yet so modern. Definitely would return!

Great for Waco Visitors

If you like peacefulness with a small town feel, take advantage of this gem next time you visit Waco. Easy access to Waco without the hustle and bustle of the city. Host was very communicative, and place was very clean.

Christmas visit

Happy to see that the kitchen supplied every sort of coffee preparation you might want, especially since we forgot to pack a French press. Coasters would be nice. Otherwise, we’ll supplied though small kitchen.

Ironman Waco

This was the perfect property for our family. It was my husband’s first Ironman 70.3 and the home allowed him a great place to prep and recover from his successful race. It was really clean and Linda was wonderfully responsive. The home was cozy and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. All around it was an excellent place for us. Thank you, Linda!

Perfect little getaway spot

My family and I needed a relaxing getaway! The house was perfect. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the river and fire pit. We grilled both nights and enjoyed the deck. The living room was very cozy. The sun room was fun and comfortable. We all slept well! We enjoyed watching the rain through the windows on our last day; it was very relaxing. We hope to return soon! Family vacay

We stayed here for our summer family vacation and it was beyond fantastic. The Retreat was amazing we made so many memories and had such a wonderful time,playing games,fishing ,floating in the river,laughing and just relaxing. We can't wait to go back and make more memories. The beds were wonferful,wonderful quiet location,it had everything you needed ,jusy bring yourselves and clothes. ,relax and enjoy.

Wonderful stay!

What a great stay for our family! This retreat is a sweet, cozy cottage right on the banks of the Brazos River. It’s only a few miles from Waco but you’ll feel miles away from the world! The house had everything possible you could need. It is well appointed and was comfortable sleeping for 6. There is great outdoor space with a fire pit and chairs right by the river. We will definitely look to stay here again!

Life on the River

We really enjoyed the "River Retreat" It was a cozy home! Although it was a wet kind of soggy weekend ... My family got to enjoy quality time together. We sat around the dinner table and reminisced about family memories, watched a couple of movies together and my youngest grand-daughter taught us a card game her teacher taught her. That was alot of fun! Our Family Reunion we attended was GREAT!! Linda, We lost power at the house during the storm, in fact the whole neighborhood did on Sunday morning from 1 a.m. to about 5:00 a.m. It was so dark!!! KInd of eerie...It stayed on for a couple of hours and we lost it again. We packed with no electricity. It stayed off up until we left. Hope everything is good now.

Little Hidden Gem! 💎

This property is Amazing, its out of the way, very quiet beautiful river scenery. Great accomodations, everything was as described. Comfortable, clean, great improvements, I've stayed in a bunch of Vrbos this is one of my new favorites. Check and communications couldn't have been easier. The only negative I can put down is that we had to leave.! We're planning to come back. Thank y'all for a wonderful stay🙏🙌❤️

Clean, Comfortable, Cozy in the Country

We were pleased to stay here during the eclipse in April. The home is setup with all the amenities needed for a convenient stay, and our host was very gracious and friendly. While we felt out in the country, everything was close enough to be a convenient 15-20 minute drive. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Lovely get away

Love the amount of beds and space the little place provides. We couldn't lock our unlock the door when leaving but the neighborhood is very safe. Plenty of towels and equipment needed to have a good time. My kids (5 girls ) enjoyed the fire pit but disappointed in only 2 mirrors to get dressed. (GO FIGURE LOL) wife was kind of poor iff with a smell when first entering but it went away once we stayed a little. Overall had a great time and thank you for the opportunity to stay. PS They think the shower is amazing 😁
