This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath multi-level single family home is built into a wooded hillside and offers beautiful mountain views. Just a short 8 mile drive from Okemo, and 10 miles from the Killington Skyship lift, this home is located along Vermont's Scenic Route 100 Byway. Perfectly situated for enjoying Vermont's scenery and activities year round. Minutes from several stunning lakes with pedal boating, kayaking and swimming.

Enjoy cooking in the kitchen while enjoying the beautiful views through the dining room, lounging in the nicely appointed living room with large fieldstone wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings, reading or watching TV in the den, doing puzzles in the dining room on the rotating puzzle board or relaxing in the sauna or the private hot tub on the deck.

In the summer/fall, enjoy the nearby lakes, drive Route 100 and enjoy the foliage or visit small towns within a 30 minute drive and experience Vermont's unique charm. In the winter months, this location is ideal for skiers. Only a short 8 mile drive from Okemo's Jackson Gore base area and Okemo's Nordic Center, 10 miles to Killington resort's Skyship or 15 miles to the main base lodge at Killington ski resort. A great location where you can "get away from it all" to enjoy nature and solitude, yet still be close to area activities.

Hawk Mountain Inn and Resort has cross country ski and snowshoe trails, and a sledding hill.

Cozy and great for skiing!

We had a fantastic stay at this property - conveniently located between Killington and Okemo if you're looking to ski. The house had plenty of space, a great hot tub/sauna for after skiing, and we even played games and cooked dinners. Patty was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Great for a cozy weekend away!

Wonderful stay

Me and my friends stayed in the house for a weekend getaway. The location was wonderful, hidden in the woods. The house had everything that we needed and the hot tub was amazing.

Perfect for families

Beautiful home high on a mountainside and close to hiking, swimming, and picturesque towns and farms. The house is perfect for families with books, toys and games, and a well-equipped kitchen. Great communication with owners and wonderful stay.

Very spacious and comfortable house with Beautiful views of the Mountains. Relaxing for sure.

Owners were great and very accommodating. They shared ideas on things to do and see while there. Big living area and kitchen with great views. Would be ideal in the winter as its quite close to Okemo with a nice hot tub and sauna to use after a day of skiing.

Wonderful hillside getaway

The photos do not do this home justice. It is built into the hill and the home is HUGE on 3 separate living floors with balconies overlooking the valley and mountains. We had a great time! Killington Skyeship gondola is only about 10-15 mins away. We shopped for groceries at Tysen’s and Shaw’s. Longtrail brewery wasn’t too far and that was a blast as well!

Unique home in beautiful setting

Great home for two families. Plenty of room. The hot tub is very nice. All or 4 wheel drive a must in winter weather.

All was as listed, it was a great property.

House even had supplies to finish baking Christmas cookies while the group skied Killington. I recommend this house

Beautiful house

We spent a thanksgiving weekend at the house with friends and family. The house is gorgeous located in a very beautiful area. Patty has been very helpful and answered all the questions I had. We are definitely coming back.

The perfect place for a winter escape!

I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful Hawk Mountain home! If your looking to escape and want beautiful views, this home is for you. Looking out any window, you feel like your on top of the world, and you truly are on top of Hawk mountain. This home is very welcoming and private with neighbors not too far away just above and below you. We all felt at home here whether we were all gathered together in the living room, at the table enjoying a meal or playing games or enjoying the views from the hot tub ( especially the sunsets ). There’s everything you need and more. My husband especially enjoyed playing the records! Patty was easy to deal with and attentive to every detail to make sure our stay was perfect. If an issue popped up she reached out immediately and responded promptly to my emails. We looked at so many homes and to be honest if was Patty’s communication with me that sealed the deal on our stay. We were looking for a place to escape after a long journey of healing for our daughter who’s been sick. Patty was empathetic to us and that meant a lot. If your skiing at Okemo it’s juat a short 15 minute drive to the base. It’s key to note that if you are staying during the winter months an AWD vehicle is recommended. The roads are kept up very nicely but you are on top of a mountain and it can be slippery still. There are lots of things to do other than skiing. Right at the Hawk Mountain Resort you can pay to use their pool, rent sleds or ice skates like we did. We chose to skate there on their private outdoor rink where it was picturesque. The kids had fun with that and also sledding on the hill. There really isn’t a negative here but it’s good to note that this home does have a lot of stairs inside and out and for me, still recovering from a broken foot and ankle injury, it was a bit tough but manageable. Please consider staying here, you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Patty and Joe!

Everything you need for a perfect ski getaway

This property was absolutely beautiful! The mountain views from every floor were spectacular and the sunsets were stunning (especially while enjoying them from the hot tub!). This was the perfect spot to come back and relax after a long day of skiing. There are a few other homes within view, but not close enough to make you feel crowded. This home has everything you need for a getaway; fully stocked kitchen with all the tools you may need for eating in and cooking meals for a group, plenty of towels for showers, hot tub and sauna, puzzles and board games, and lots of amenities at the inn such as snowshoeing, cross country ski trails, and sledding hill that we just didn't have enough time to explore. There are also a number of restaurants within a 20-25 minute driving distance. I would definitely recommend an AWD vehicle, or at least decent snow tires, for the windy roads up to the house. They were well maintained for our stay, but a little slippery during the snowstorm. Patty, the owner, was wonderful to work with! Always very prompt with responding to messages/inquiries and made the whole process quite smooth. I have nothing but praises for this gorgeous property and would return in a heartbeat!
