Log Cabin confortable situé sur le lac Mayo à Roxboro, en Caroline du Nord, avec un accès facile à un quai flottant fonctionnel. Idéal pour la pêche, la natation, le pédalo (fourni), la méditation ou tout simplement pour se détendre et profiter de la nature. Peut être utilisé pour une escapade romantique privée ou une retraite en famille. Moins de 5 miles des événements tenus à Mayo Lake Park.

Avez-vous une occasion spéciale comme un anniversaire, une lune de miel, la Saint-Valentin, la retraite, un anniversaire, etc.? Si vous louez au printemps, en été ou en automne, de nombreux événements se déroulent au parc du lac Mayo. Mayo Lake Park offre un accès au lac aux plaisanciers, au canoë-kayak, à un quai de pêche accessible aux ADA, à trois terrains de jeux, à un parcours de golf à neuf trous et à huit abris de pique-nique. We had the most amazing time. We fished, sat by the firepit and roasted smores. The main lake isnt far from the cabin where we took the boat out and went tubing. This cabin is so adorable and the huge wrap around porch was perfect to eat dinner on and drink coffee on in the morning.

Check in was on point and easy to manage. The kitchen area had a lot of useful items and easy access to the lower cabin space. Use of gas stove is helpful for those who's never used a gas stove before.

Relaxing Stay

My family and I had a great time at the cabin. It was private, quiet and beautiful. We made s’mores at the fire pit. We went swimming and fished at the pier. The only downfall was that we had to leave a day early due to the weather. I would definitely recommend!

Best Cabin in North Carolina!

Amazing stay, the lake view was beautiful and the cabin was extremely spacious and clean, multiple rooms and quiet getaway. If you want a peaceful place to stay in to relax and enjoy your family and nature, please book this cabin. The host made it extremely easy to find and communicated well for sure coming back

There are many vacation rental horror stories, but this is not one. The host met us upon check-in, gave us a run down on how to get in and then left. The cabin is gorgeous, well maintained, and perfect for a romantic get away.

amazing, secluded getaway

my husband and i went here for our honeymoon and we definitely will be staying here again. even in November the fish were biting, and the jetted bathtub was a perfect way to end the night. The cabin was very clean, and owners are very nice and friendly. great place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway

Beautiful Setting

Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, loved the porch, outdoor fire pit and dock on the lake. Cabin was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Look forward to coming back to Roxboro for the Bluegrass Festival next year and hope the cabin will be available.

Beautiful cabin with lots of amenities

Whispering Wolf Cabin was wonderful! Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked so it was easy to prepare meals. It's a beautiful site with so many spots to enjoy the outdoors. We wished that we could have stayed a whole week!

Perfect for a very quiet, isolated getaway!

The house was nice and well appointed. The lake and outdoors was beautiful. I wish there was a kayak or pedal boat for guest use as there is not a lot to do in the area. However, we loved our stay!

It was great to have you as a guest. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We used to provide kayaks, pedal boat, and canoe for our guests, but due to guests damaging our equipment and the liability issues, we no longer provide these items. However, we do provide information in our Welcome Book about where you can rent a variety of watercrafts to use at our cabin. They can be rented at the Mayo Lake Park (5 miles) to use at the cabin or at Mayo Lake Park, which also has a Frisbee Golf course, hiking trails, concerts at Ampitheater, fishing tournaments, and horseback riding nearby. We hope that you come back to visit during the warmer months so that you can take advantage of the variety of outdoor activities we have in our area.

This property is located in the heart of the Sappony Indian territory in the North Carolina High Plains; just across the road from the Sappony Indians’ historic church and on the banks of Lake Mayo. If you love the calm clear water, swimming, fishing, and nature, this is heaven on Mother Earth. We purchased the property in preparation for our retirement years, which is just around the corner. It is a perfect place to transition from the hustle and bustle of city life and corporate America.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Located on the quiet private section of Lake Mayo, but close enough to the public section if you want to launch your own boat to go Bass Fishing or Jet Skiing. The Log Cabin is cozy and inviting with a wrap-around porch to soak in all the natural scenery, including the beautiful majestic lake. We recently built a 10’x20’ floating dock to enable the functionality required to really enjoy the lake such as jumping into the lake for a cool swim on a hot summer's day, launching personal water crafts, fishing, entertaining guests, or having a romantic dinner or lunch among nature.
