Welcome to "Beach Breezes" with an Ocean View From Deck!

Pack your beach bag and chair because this home is only one block from the beach! Just steps where you can enjoy lounging in the sun or swimming for the kids. This retreat comes fully equipped for your beach vacation. Everything from a washer/dryer, outdoor shower, WIFI, cable TV and games for the family! The retreat has four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are master suites with private baths and access to the outdoor decks. The other two bedrooms are perfect for children with twins bed. All bedrooms are equipped with cable television.

This home sleeps 8 to 10 people.

Amazing Beach Oasis

This house is amazing. The location is prime - you can see the beach clearly from the front porch/window, a critical factor when you’ve got teens wanting to get to the beach every second. The owner/manager are communicative and helpful. The house is well appointed for playing, cooking, resting, and enjoying! We will book this property any time we return to Galveston.

Family Fun!

We had a great time in Galveston. Located extremely close to the beach. Had coffee on the balcony and could see the waves come in. Close enough to town to eat and yet far enough to enjoy a private beach.

Pirates Beach - May 2021

We loved the location of the property - so close to the beach and just a short drive into Galveston. The house had plenty of room for all of us and great dining areas for the whole family!

Convenient and comfortable home

The house was actually laid out better and had more room than I expected. Great location with easy beach access in a quiet neighborhood. Large deck has a great view with some shade and a nice breeze, plenty of seating. The beach wasn’t too crowded and even though there was a lot of seaweed ( nobody’s fault) it didn’t ruin the funThe property manager was very accessible and helpful. And love the keyless entry and interior stairs.

This is a great rental! Lots of room and views of the beach from the patio (very short walk to beach). Communications with the property manager were quickly answered and check-in/out was very easy. I would totally recommend this house for a family gathering!

Loved the home and the view!

We had a great time, although our trip was cut short due to an unexpected circumstance. Great communication, easy check-in, awesome view, and great little neighborhood. The beach was clean and moderately full with families but easy to get your own little space. We will definitely stay again in the near future.

Multi-generational family vacation

The house was exactly what was pictured in the listing. We usually visit Galveston a couple of times a year and have stayed at several beach houses. The family agreed that this one fitted our needs perfectly. It’s an easy walk to the beach, has two large balconies with views of the gulf, and is in a beautiful well maintained neighborhood.

Fun in the Sun

Excellent location for a Summer beach vacation. The beach was clean, not crowded, no cars allowed and very walkable. It was a short 2 minute walk which was appreciated by our group which included 3 children (10, 6 and 2 years old). The property was clean and just fit our group of 5 adults and the 3 little people. There is an outdoor shower which was very handy after a day at the beach.

Fantastic House!

There were 10 of us celebrating my sons 13 bday and the location was perfect. Away from heavy Seawall traffic and 5 minute walk to beach. Family movie night was a little hard since the tv in the living room is a bit small but no complaints…thanks!

The property is very dated, which wouldn’t have been a dealbreaker if it had been clean—but it wasn’t. We arrived to dirt and debris in the entryway and carpets that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed (complete with nail clippings). I ended up cleaning before my family even arrived. The floors were so filthy our feet turned black without slippers, and dust covered every surface, setting off everyone’s allergies. The only saving grace was its close proximity to the beach.

Family Reunion

We arrive in a tropical storm, the location and house were good for our family. One person had to sleep on the couch (9 in all). We enjoyed our stay outside of the AC being on the blink, the management team had several people out quickly to see if it could be repaired. It does need some updating and we could not figure out how to get the TV’s in the bedrooms to work.

Family Weekend

Amazing 4th of July family reunion . The house is not right on the beach but close enough to hear the surf and see the birds dive into the ocean to catch a little breakfast.. There were very nice breezes from both decks. Four stars for cleanliness because it smelled a little musty and there are dehumidifier crystal jars everywhere which need to be changed…but it’s a beach house so those are expected occurrences. Four stars for accurate description because there is an unexpected deep step off the first and second floor landings which could be a problem if you are looking into the pretty room and don’t see the step down coming. These are minor observations possibly not worth mentioning. Bottom line is we had a wonderful weekend in a wonderful house and even saw a great fireworks show from a neighboring driveway!

Lovely accommodations

The only negative is average communication. An example. Written info pertaining to WiFi incorrect for password. Specified upper case D when in actuality lower case. Procedures of door locks. The storage door that has outdoor bathroom was open and not by us. I am recommending it to a friend for her next trip. The property itself is lovely and well appointed. Thank you.

Great Location, House Could use Some TLC

House was in a great location - less than a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is technically public, but felt private. Communication with the owner was seamless. The space in the living/dining/room kitchen was more than enough to have 6 adults and 4 children. The kitchen was well stocked (pots/pans/plates/coffee/cups/etc) expect for seasonings. The main complaint was the status of the deck. It is probably 3-5 years past needed a full replacement. You could not walk on it barefoot without the worry of getting a splinter or tripping on a warped board. One additional note was the en suite king bedroom on the 2nd floor has very little airflow. We had to sleep with the bedroom door open, otherwise it would have gotten way to hot. Overall I would recommend this place though, location trumped lack of TLC.
