The BEST equipped kitchen ever. Full spice rack, any utensil needed to cook. The best equipped unit too - beach towels, beach chairs, blow dryer, etc. Very responsive host. Highly recommend!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the kitchen and all the little extras we’ve provided to make your stay more comfortable. We truly enjoy catering to our guests so you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime!
The condo was really nice and clean with a quiet atmosphere. Great location. The sunsets at night on the back lawn area overlooking the ocean were amazing.
The apartment could use some updating but what an amazing place. The back is a small area of heaven. You do not have beach but a walkway that takes you a along the ocean. We loved it. It is close to everything but far away from the hustle and bustal. We would rent again.
Was close enough for easy walk to Waikiki Beach n Uber stop was right in front on condo. Very handy! Barefoot Beach was a great place to eat n reasonable on prices n in walking distance. The views from back of condo were stunning n relaxing!
The back patio is the perfect place to watch the sunset. Very quiet and secluded. Most of our activities were about an hour away but, everywhere you look is breathtaking. The property was an excellent place to come back to and relax. The portable beach chairs and umbrellas you provided were a very pleasant surprise. We’ll definitely be back again if you’ll have us and, recommend your property to anyone coming to this beautiful island.
Loved the condo with views of Diamond from the front of the building and on the beach in back. Nice size condo for family of 4. Everyone enjoyed the space ( parents, 17,19 year old boys). Closed to everything, but quiet area. Quiet at the condo too. Beautiful sunset from the lawn area in the back. Owner was very responsive and easy to contact. Condo was very clean.
We had a short family trip to Hawaii. The makai suite was just what we needed. The living room was amazing, comfortable after a long day. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning in the room was a plus. We live in Alaska and it was much needed. My favorite part was at the back of the building overlooking the ocean. I recommend this place for family's looking for a place to stay in Hawaii. Thank you from my family. Mahalo!!
This is a wonderful property. Everything that you could possibly think to need is here. All you need to do is show up and enjoy! Wifi was reliable. Lots of TV and movie channels for family movie nights. The location is perfect. We especially loved watching the sunsets every evening from the patio area which is directly over the ocean with comfortable chairs to sit back and enjoy. We found the other residents and guests to all be friendly and nice - it is a very great area of Oahu and within short drive of Pearl Harbor, lots of beaches, shopping, etc. I will definitely look forward to coming back here to vacation time and time again. Thanks Mia!

Don’t believe the pictures!
Nice location. No frills. Tired and slightly dirty. The pictures do not represent the real property. It really needs a remodel or deep clean. The property feels like it has been forgotten by the owners. Functional, but mattresses are worn, toilet runs, no fan in the bathroom. Did call the owners about parking and they did call us right back.

Ok
The toilet ran constantly and shut off then ran again. No internet or tv. We messaged someone about the tv and never got a response. Parking is terrible unless you pay for a spot, then it's in a basement area with barely room to turn around.
The unit could use some updating. I found it very dark as you don’t want to open the curtains as one side of the unit is on the walkway and the other overlooks a very old and unkept building where residents have very messy outdoor areas.

Place to rest only
The location was good and the owners were easy enough to work with. They responded quickly when we needed the parking space number (had requested parking at booking but did not get that information in the check-in process provided). The unit overall needs some serious work. The major kitchen appliances are new, but the furniture is old, the place needs a serious cleaning, wallpaper is coming off the wall, the light over the dining table doesn’t work, and worst of all was the plumbing backups in the bathroom. The owners were quick to respond and offered a plumber but after talking with others on the floor we discovered this was a whole floor and potential building issue.
This place has potential but is sorely neglected. Lights dont work, dusty lampshades. The freezer door below the fridge does not close. There was a rug folded up in front of it ro catch the leaking water. The frezzer is all iced over. The coffee pot was filthy and is all a burnt through on the bottom. We contacted the host immediately but never heard back. We also contacted VRBO. No word from anyone!

2947 Kalakaua was decent
The place was decent, good enough. my complaints feel a little picky but i wish i'd known ahead to here it is: 2 bedrooms is misleading - we needed 2 bedroom, but this was a room off a bedroom -maybe a walk in closet from the one bedroom turned into a bedroom. windows did not have screens, so we continuously used a noisy air conditioner that blasted cold air onto the sofa seating when on, room was stuffy if left off.; parking free on the other side of the park across the street; the apartment has no view or balcony - there is a nice terrace at the end of the building, usually not crowded. my final fee was 50% than the initial search listing - expect added fees.
If you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle this is the place. Although you can't see the ocean from the room you can sit on the back lawn and enjoy the view as the weather is perfect everyday. You can still go into the water there is very short to the left or right to takes stairs onto the water. My sister and I were ready to lay the chairs down and sleep outside. There are chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards available for you to use, plenty of beach towels. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. The people that live here are very nice. You can always contact the owner and get a quick reply. If we get the chance to come back we would stay here.
Close to downtown Waikiki but out of the major traffic
We had a great stay and in a perfect location. The property was as described in the listing. The property patio was great to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. My only suggestion would be to ensure renters are aware of the parking being $30 a day or metered parking. Weekdays were no problem finding a place, weekends were hard.
We had a great trip to Honolulu that was stress-free because of our awesome accommodations. We loved the property. We also liked being away from the main Waikiki beach area but only a short 15 minute walk away. The owners were very responsive and immediately answered the one phone call I needed to make to them during the trip. The only suggestion for the owners is to provide hot pads for cooking and more than one dish towel. Otherwise, we loved it and would choose the property again.
Nice place, comfy beds, all the essentials. Very nice outdoor area and super close to popular areas. Very quiet. Would come again!

Nice Condo
When we arrived to the property, it wasn't cleaned. Mia worked with us to remedy the situation, but it would have been nice to arrive to a clean place to rest after our long plane ride. The condo is very dark, would suggest some colorful drapes or more Hawaiian theme decorations, to make the experience better. Over all it was a nice place with all necessary items to enjoy the beach.
Great location just off waikiki. Out of the crowds, and closer to some other great places.
As everybody mentions parking is a hassle, but we never had to walk more than 200 yards to the unit. There is a drop off spot right in front of the hotel.
The unit was clean they had toys and boogie boards and snorkeling equipment. Had some wonderful morning coffee and evening drinks down on the waterfront.
Shane and Mia provided a great trip. First of all thank you very much.
If you step out of the room in a very nice location, you can hear the sound of the waves and see the blue sea. We were able to enjoy this wonderful location every day and we had a very happy day.
I had trouble with VRBO for the first time.
First of all, the key box could not be found immediately, so it was difficult to put it in.
There are a lot of key boxes. However, there is no need to be impatient. Find the key box on the wall instead of the hanging key box to solve the problem.
Another one is the location of the parking lot. It is recommended that you check in advance where you can park your car.
They were so busy that they hadn't noticed my question and a few days had passed and I had to use another parking lot.
Only the location of this parking lot was a problem, but I was happy to have a better room than that. I'm really thankful to you.
Wow what a great way to spend a week with family! We absolutely loved the Sans souci beach. So relaxing with the comfort of the kids going back and forth at their leisure. We made some good connections at the condo itself. In fact our youngest had the opportunity to meet one of her favorite Disney stars who happened to be staying there as well, not only was she kind and welcoming, her grandfather was the best of conversationalist and wisdom. Very warm and kind people from locals to visitors along this stretch. It was so great to reconnect with an old friend (I ran into out of the blue in front of the building) who then proceeded to invite me in for lunch at the outrigger club next door, great and welcome surprise. After 5 days here we checked into the outrigger at the beach for 3 nights, wonderful experience but we all missed the feeling we had here, in our experience it was more like we where in our own home. It was also great for my wife and I to have our own room as well, major plus even though Hawaii is not a place to sleep in because it calls you to adventure and to embrace each and everyday. for us, hands down it beats a hotel room any day!!
We are already rebooking for our next trip. Thank you so much for creating a space and opportunity for my family and I to let go, reconnect and be with those we love most. Maholo
