We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were comfy! We spent most of our time lounging by the pool and enjoying the kayaks/paddle boards. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay again!

Great location. Air conditioning problematic at temp upstairs drifted up at night (or set to go up during night ) and got too hot. Needs new mattresses and sheets did not fit beds. Lots of activities for families. House layout is great. Needs some updating.

We have taken several lake vacations and we truly enjoyed our stay Carolina Lakes. The house was clean and very well appointed. We enjoyed kayaking and using the pool. We also enjoyed the nearby golf course. Would love to return in the future.

Wonderful stay on the lake

My family had a great time at this beautiful house directly on the lake. We loved having access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The large deck overlooking the lake was wonderful and we all really enjoyed watching the geese and swans every day. This place made us want to start looking for our own lake house.

Awesome location and experience

My wife and I stayed at the Lake House while visiting friends and family in the area. The view from the deck was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. Communication was prompt and even though we arrived very late the first night. we had no problems entering the home and getting settled. We look forward to the opportunity to stay again in the near future.

This is by far the best house/condo we have ever stayed in on a trip. We have traveled a lot with our kids and now grandkids and this house was perfect. Exceeds the pictures and descriptions. Communication with the host was great and seamless check in and check out. We will definitely rebook for our next trip to Fort Liberty to visit our son.

Perfect place to relax and have fun!

Beautiful lakefront home, with so many activities! Private swimming pool, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing, fire pit, for outdoor activities! Inside games and ping pong and a card table too! Never left the whole week we were there! Private quiet and a great place to get away too!! Would recommend if that is what you are looking for!

Fantastic Lake Front Home!

I almost hate to review this home because I don’t want people to know about it! This is my family’s second stay while visiting our son, stationed in Ft Bragg. The house is lovely and the outdoor activities are fantastic; the pool, kayaks, and water boards get the kids outside and away from their devices. We will try to stay here again…what a find!!!

Perfect Lakeside Getaway!

My family and I visited Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg over the Thanksgiving holiday to see our son who is stationed there. We were so excited to find such a beautiful place near him. The house was wonderful; plenty of space, comfortable beds, and well-appointed kitchen (we cooked our Thanksgiving there!). The activities were amazing; my family spent hours on the lake in the kayaks. We hope to stay again while my son is stationed there. This house is one of my VRBO favorites of all time!

Family Vacation to see our Paratrooper.

Great location close to Bragg to spend time w/our son. Located close to stores, restaurants, & fun places like the zoo & strawberry farms. The house was great & had plenty of fun things to do from games in house, swimming in the pool, fishing or playing in the lake & 1 of my favorites was just sitting outside on the deck & watching the Swans, Geese, Ducks & other birds & scenery. The owner was also very nice & available for any questions. Overall a great house, secure location, amenities you need for cooking, relaxing & nice beds for resting & TV if needed on a rainy day. We will definitely rent again if available for our next visit w/our son.

It Checked All the Boxes

This was a wonderful home to rent. The best part was its location right on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets on the lake, and listening to the variety of birds. The home itself was spacious, and thoughtfully planned to optimize the views. We enjoyed the easy access, well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms, and very comfortable beds. As other renters commented, the home was generously supplied with recreational equipment. We even played a game of ping pong one day, which created a lot of merriment! Good communication with the owner.

Beautiful Outdoors

The lake view was amazing. The younger adults spent a lot of time on the lake, kayaking and paddle boarding. The children enjoyed the swimming pool. While the initial basic supplies were a bit scant, the owner was quick to respond and offer reimbursement for anything we needed to replenish. The only downside was a trip hazard inside the house. Most rooms on the first floor were connected with an elevated floor strip causing the potential for stumbles and falls.

Guy's golf trip (Pinehurst & Tobacco Road)

Home was nice and the pictures don't do the location justice (beautiful!!). Home was definitely not cleaned prior to arrival and both fridges were full of random stuff which made it difficult for us to put away the food and drinks we bought.It was fairly hot upstairs and somewhat uncomfortable in the evening. Luckily it was not too hot outside during our stay so it was ok.There were no paper towels and very little toilet paper so we had to go buy that stuff which was a little annoying.There was stuff everywhere outside and in the garage so we could not park inside and could barely get all of our golf clubs in there.The house had plenty of cooking necessities which was very helpful.There is not much around the community which nice but inconvenient at the same time.All in all it was a great home with some nice anmenities (except the beach park you're not allowed to use and no boat rentals within 45 minutes). If you want a quiet place to relax this is the home for you!We thouroughly cleaned up and organized after we left so the next guest would be good to go. We have rentals so we know the deal.

When nature and technology converge!

Brian and his family not only have a gem of a property, but also an amazing interest in ensuring their guests are comfortable. Whether it was clear communication or quickly responding to my questions, we always felt in great hands. We were sad to leave, but had an amazing time! Will definitely recommend (unless your dates cross my dates!). All jokes aside, you will not be disappointed!
