Great Stay

Palmas Del Mar was a great location because we wanted a less populated area. There were several restaurants close by which were all very good (Palmanova Plaza). Erika was very responsive when I had questions and the accommodations were perfect for us. Driving in Puerto Rico was a bit scary as were some of the roads. If we ever visited again, I would stay here and would highly recommend this host!

Close to the beach

This was a comfortable apartment that was close to the beach and in a quiet building. It had a small balcony overlooking the pool and was within a quick walk to the beautiful beach. Beach towels and chairs were provided, and we used them often.

When we first got there, the apartment was pretty uncomfortable - it was a scorching 83 degrees, but it honestly felt more like 90. I struggle with anxiety, so being cooped up in such a hot and dark space really didn't agree with me. My wife and I ended up leaving after just one night because we couldn't handle the heat and lack of fresh air. Everything was clean, which we appreciated, but we just didn't feel at ease. We really appreciate your efforts to help us with the air conditioning, but it seems like the apartment could use a bit more attention, especially considering how lovely the location is. Thanks again for everything!

Very good

Location is spectacular! The condo is nice, equipped with basic stuff but needs some TLC. The housekeeping service needs better supervision. I found dirty silverware and dusty surfaces. Bathroom on the other hand was clean.

A Week in Paradise

Our stay in Humacao, PR was fantastic. The listing for this studio was exactly as advertised. The location and amenities were just what we wanted - and the setting is absolutely stunning. We had a bit of rain, but were able to go on several sightseeing trips to the Yunque National Forest, kayaking and snorkeling adventures and, of course the beautiful beach right here at Palmas de Dorada/Palmas Del Mar. I highly recommend this property - Erica was very helpful and provided all the information we needed to have a great stay, including recommendations for tours with Kayaking Puerto Rico. Fun way to spend our anniversary and find some sunshine.

Resort Area Lux

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Erika’s place. She was an excellent host - especially when she responded to an emergency call at night to help us solve a problem. - (hint: as noted in her instructions— DO NOT lock the apartment door using the doorknob because you will be locked out!!) The studio apartment is really great - super clean and luxuriously appointed. Having access to the Wyndam Hotel, which is right next door, was an essential feature for us because we didn’t want to cook. But also note that going to Palmanova - which is a mini mall with smaller restaurants within the larger complex - is fun too! The ocean is a short walk away and is a good swimming beach, and the pool in the listing is right outside - that pic was taken from the balcony. Great place!!

Very clean unit. Good communication with owner. Only negative is the inconsistency with water temperature during showers cold to hot or warm to hot may be due to sharing plumbing. Shower towels need improvement they are small and thin. Note to say key is needed for the gate to walk in and out to areas

Easily could have bin better stay. Lack of help

Convenient to beach and Hotel. No communication with so calked host or managers. Refrigerstor non working fir seven days and same sheets ? Prmus access code denied us access evert tim we keft the oremises by car or walking. If we had bin elderly we would have bin locked in

There is a key card and gate code to enter the property gate and guards to also assist your entrance and exit for security. Unfortunately there are still power outages in PR and the refrigerator has been replaced. We strive for everyone to have a great experience at our places. Again, we apologize for any inconveniences.

Studio within walking distance to beach

My husband and i stayed here for 31 days,Jan-Feb 2025. In general, the place was perfect for our needs. The pools are nice and maintained. There's also a freshwater pond with turtles, herons, ducks, and loads of iguanas around.The walk to the beach is 5 or so minutes, and the beach is great for long walks. The water was mostly too rough to swim in while we were there.Only a few issues- no oven, which i didn't notice in the description, even a toaster oven would help. No kitchen towels, so i bought one. No ice trays, again bought some. The kitchen tap dripped/ran the whole time we were there, we let the owner know but the maintenance workers didn't show up. The next door neighbours showed up for weekends only, had super yippy dogs that were left on the balcony barking at every person & bird they saw. Luckily it was only the weekend days, so we went out while they were there.We would definitely stay in the area again, probably in a one bedroom instead of a studio. This is definitely a good value for the .
