Lovely Private Renovated Sunny Cabin Home With Woods, Meadow and Wildlife

Bedrooms 2
Space 1,252 sq ft
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

2 Bedroom , 2 Bathroom With A View Of Bell Hill And Happy Valley, Close To Town

This lovely home on nearly 4 acres in the country, yet close to town, provides the perfect place to relax from all your daily duties in the real world. It was built in 1998 and was recently remodeled with an updated cabin vibe. The downstairs includes the master and guest bedrooms and one bathroom that is accessible outside the master bedroom. The master bath features a shower, sink and toilet in a separate space from an additional sink in its own space, so two can get ready at one time. There is a mudroom with a stacked washer/dryer unit on this level. The upstairs open floor plan with wall-to-wall windows offers a great perch from which to view the visiting Elk and Bald Eagles that frequent the area, while you dine, read, or enjoy wine on the deck. The great room has a wood stove for cool nights. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances for preparing food for dining in. This level offers a second bath with a jetted tub, and a view of the forest while you relax and soak. Additionally there is a small sitting room with views of the walking paths through the woods, which can double as an extra bedroom for two people. Walk the woods, stroll the garden or entertain on the upper deck or lower patio in this peaceful quiet place you will not want to leave.

When you do leave for food or entertaining activities, you are only a short mile and a half drive or bicycle ride from many restaurants, shops, the art gallery and farmer's market just to name a few. Additionally the area has wonderful bike paths, community theater, The Voice of America Dungeness Recreation Area and The Spit, Railroad Bridge Park, John Wayne Marina, The Olympic Game Farm, and the Seven Cedars Casino.

Relaxing and Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary and we enjoyed it so much. The bed was very comfortable and it was lovely to wake up to the sun coming in the windows each morning. The sound of the crickets at night was a welcome change from the noise of city life. The kitchen and pantry had everything we needed. The jetted tub was heavenly, especially with the views of trees outside. I loved reading in the cozy nook upstairs, looking out the big windows. The chair with the ottoman was so comfy I even took an afternoon nap there one of the days. We loved this place and will definitely be back the next time we visit the area. Thank you!

Fantastic hideaway!

  • 5 of 5

This place is absolutely wonderful: spacious, homey, comfortable, cozy, and cozy. Beds were nice: one firm memory-foam style mattress and one softer inner-spring mattress, and even the twin bed in the lounging room was comfy! The big windows upstairs overlooking the meadow were lovely to watch eagles and other birds. All appliances new and well maintained, and our hosts were friendly and available to answer any/all questions, but very respectful of privacy. The epic jacuzzi bathtub makes the vacation right there!! A fantastic vacation find!!

Beautiful Property!

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed at the house this weekend and we absolutely loved it! The house was so well cared for and had everything we needed. The grounds are amazing and we watched the bald eagles from outside the window. It's also a great location and very close to town! If your looking for a perfect get away I would highly recommend this home.

This rental is so quiet and nestled in the woods, but very close to town. Within a half-hour of arriving two bull elk visited as well as a Bald Eagle. House is very beautifully decorated, furniture and beds were very comfortable. Nicely appointed kitchen (although could use a stock pot). Multiple decks (upper floor and lower floors) to choose from, woods to walk through. If you are looking for a relaxing environment while you explore Sequim area this has it all.
