Bluebird Corner - Family Friendly Cabin

Welcome to Bluebird Corner.  This home is the perfect blend of modern comforts and rustic charm with a dash of elegance! The thoughtfully designed space is an ideal layout for a group looking to make memories to cherish for a lifetime.  Entering this beautiful cabin you will notice the warm wooden floors and the expansive pine ceiling. You`ll find all the comforts of home including comfy leather furniture, a freestanding wood stove, granite countertops, and a double wall oven.  There is plenty of room to dine at the table for 8, or lounge in the living area all while conversing with the chef(s) of the group that are preparing a delicious meal in the fully stocked kitchen.  On the main floor are two comfortable bedrooms with the main bathroom between. Climb the open staircase to a spacious loft with comfortable queen and double beds as well as room for the kids to play or a quiet spot to curl up and enjoy a good book in a cozy lounge chair. The attached bathroom in the loft makes this home a perfect accommodation for a small family.  A few steps outside is a comfortable covered private hot tub and plenty of yard space to keep the kiddos entertained.

Many summer and winter outdoor activities abound in the area and you can even snowmachine right from the driveway to a favorite local trail.

Downtown Leavenworth is 18.9 miles from this home, Stevens Pass is a 30-minute drive away and the adorable small town of Plain is just a few minutes away.

This was a very clean place for my family to spend our Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The neighborhood was quiet. This is on a dead end road. It felt like a lot of privacy for my kids and us, especially when getting in and out of the hot tub. Everything we needed was labeled and easy to find and operate. The management was responsive and easy to get a hold of. It was dark outside when we arrived, but the house lights were on and it was warm!

Overall a nice stay! It was pretty cozy and comfortable, especially with the hot tub! We stayed for 3 nights, and it worked well for my WFH needs. The house felt a little exposed at times because of the large windows at the front that were facing the road (the only option for privacy were blackout curtains, which we didn’t want to close in the day time) so there was a bit less privacy than we had hoped, but luckily the street was quiet and we barely saw neighbors (except a sweet deer family!). The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. Lots of comfortable blankets and furniture.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The location is really convenient to the lake and the town. Upon arrival, we had a couple of questions and the property manager was very prompt in responding. The place is clean, well stocked, organized. The beds are very comfortable and hot tub was really nice. I recommend having a pack and play available at the property, and some more toys. Overall, we had an excellent day and highly recommend this.

Winter wonderland

Absolutely amazing property! Loved every aspect of it! Fire place was a great bonus as well as the hot tub. Got 8-11 inches of snow during our stay but the roads were plowed and we left for a short trip and came back to the driveway having been cleared ! Will definitely be back

Birthday weekend

We stayed at the Bluebird for a birthday weekend. The cabin was spacious for our group of 5. Games and cozy blankets provided. Easy check in and check out.

Return guests with small children

My husband, two small children and I have previously stayed at this cabin in 2020 and loved it so much that we returned! The cabin is in a wonderful location, a short drive from Leavenworth and other activities. Both times the cabin has been clean and well stocked, you can tell the owner has actually spent some time here for it to be so dialed in. We appreciate the labels and instructions everywhere and my children loved finding the toys, games and puzzles. The hot tub was clean and functional as was the grill. We will be back again!

Cute Little Spot

This property was a cute little spot for our family. We didn't spend tons of time there, as it was more a home base for wedding festivities...but it was clean and comfortable. It was a neat layout for our family, with the loft for our two oldest girls. We would consider staying there again.

Excellent for families and couples!

We had another great adventure at the cabin! Enjoyed cross country skiing on the Plain trail system and the kids enjoyed playing in the snow outside the cabin. Afternoon day trip to Leavenworth on Saturday for brats and beer and shopping. The hot tub came in handy after a couple spills on the skis! Already looking forward to next year.Thanks again!

Amazing house

This was the most stocked house we have ever stayed in. More kitchen items than my own house. I won’t need to pack as much next time, Including lots of games and toys. My youngest grand daughter loved the area in the loft where the toys were. “Her secret place” The hot tub was amazing and was actually nice and hot. Communication was great. It’s about 30-40 minutes from downtown Leavenworth which we knew but not might appeal to others. There is actually no Keurger as in the description so make sure you bring coffee. Other than than, it has everything.

Christmas vacation in Leavenworth with family

It was amazing! The cabin was perfect, awesome snow sledding trail in the back yard and a hot tub in the snow. It was very warm and comfortable. We all had a blast and cant wait to do it again💛

Had a wonderful and relaxing time at this cozy country cabin ♥️♥️♥️

Overall a great experience 👍🏻 But a loose closet door to the washer&dryer in the hallway fell over me as I tried to slide it close, it injured my arm and shoulder. 😢 * It was completely off the hinges, folded and just leaned up against the washer&dryer to give it the illusion that is was in working order to slide close. I found it very dangerous for others to get injured too so I moved it into the cleaning closet. In the bedroom ( king size bed ) was another slide/fold closet door off the hinges, it would not move at all and was permanently open. But could be used for storing suitcase and hanging up clothes. The bedroom with the Queen size bed had a closet that was totally shut/locked and could not be used at all. So we had to keep all our clothes/things in the suitcase on the floor. So basically the bedroom closets downstairs and laundry closet door is in big need to be fixed or changed for renters to use and for safety against injury. There was also some trash left behind by previous renters on the other side of the jacuzzi. Kids pool toys was also left on the porch next to the jacuzzi outside. We stayed 5 nights and did enjoy this property greatly. 😊 Thank you, Lena Ardekani

Reunion

Four long-time gal friends from 2 states and 3 towns, representing over 120 years of friendship enjoyed several days together. We loved the house, the setting in the woods, the proximity to the river, the quietness, and the wildlife. It was a great time together. We recommend this place.

Pretty good overall

Pros- Cute house, cleanliness was good, easy check in, hot tub, walk to river (Chiwawa), and 15 minutes from lake Wenatchee. Cons- they need to clean out a couple more cupboards and drawers in the kitchen so that renters have room to store groceries. Renters don't need eight salad bowls, two coffee makers, a big kitchen aid mixer on the counter, 5 cutting boards, a big and little crock pot, I could go on and on. There are 2, 3, 4, 5 of many thing where only one or maybe two would be needed. This results in very little room for the renter. Also, my husband and I shared the second bedroom, and the closet is locked and there is no dresser. We had to keep our clothes in our suitcase the whole week. Very annoying. Also, supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels are only given enough to last a few days (if you have a houseful) if you run out, restock is not supplied. Just charge a few dollars more and provide a few extra rolls! The lighting in the kitchen is also pretty poor. They definitely need to put another light in there. It's very dim in the afternoon/evening. Also, with that in mind, there is a sign saying not to use the over the cooktop light because it causes damage over time (perhaps we shouldn't walk on the floor either as that will probably cause damage over time as well...) All of these things would be very easy fixes for the owners and make things a lot better for renters. Just one more fyi, it is a little over a half an hour to get to Leavenworth (downtown) from the house.

Clean & Roomy

The property is very clean and with all the amenities you might expect; kitchen well stocked with plenty of various cooking equipment, hot tub clean/sanitary, etc. My 6 year old grandaughter was fully entertained with the variety of toys available for her age group. The portable air conditioner unit helped make the main living area comfortable, but the downside were the bedrooms being too warm for my taste, but it was August after all. I might suggest a window unit for each of the downstairs bedrooms. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Fantastic family getaway

We brought our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons (11 and 6) for a getaway, and we had a spectacular time. The kitchen was better stocked than we've ever seen, and the bedrooms perfect for all of us. It was out of the way of everyone, yet close to hiking and swimming. We'll be back!

Mid Summer getaway

House was as nice as the photos. And following the summer cooling recommendations / air conditioning kept the temp pleasant during the upper 90's daytime heat. Close to the lake for kayak rentals and swimming. Recommend the Leavenworth tube float for a fun hot day activity.

Bluebird property

This is a nice place for a family. Take into consideration that it has a loft and can be quite noisy up there from the downstairs. We were disappointed to find that the hot tub wasn't working. The manager did what they could but it was bad timing:( The house itself is very pretty, well equipped. The roads out to Leavenworth are pretty but very winding. Would recommend.

Perfect Space

We found this gem why looking for a space to stay while we work nearby. This cabin has everything you could think of and more. Stylish and spacious. Cleanly and inviting. We will return in private as well as business situations.

Beautiful home on quiet street!

Lovely property with high ceilings, comfortable beds, terrific hot tub, and an incredibly well-stocked kitchen (every pot, pan, appliance, ladle, etc that you could need). We loved the location less than a 5 minute drive from the Clear Creek entrance to the Plain Valley Ski Trails, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We would rent again!
