A nice extended family getaway

Nice condo with pool, private parking and easy access to beach right in the heart of downtown Tybee. The pool is a little small but so nice to have. We made great memories here.

Captain's Watch 06

We were hoping the condo would have been cleaner. Floors and cushions were dirty. The pool was closed, and the TV's would not go to cable. We enjoyed the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The Pulaski Fort and Lighthouse was fun to visit.

Sister trip

The place was very clean. But the description was misleading. The third bedroom was like a small.place for a dining room. The twin beds were not twin. One was a 4 inch mattress on rollers on the floor. The parking was terrible. I would never stay there again.

Family Staycation

Overall our stay was nice but I do want to share a few things that may help others. 1. Elevators were not working and that could be an issue if someone was unable to climb stairs. 2. Old (small) blood stain on the master bed comforter. 3. Beds are not very uncomfortable 4. Small cars, trucks, and suv will only fit in the parking garage. We parked on Lovell Ave with our pass.

Great location! The beds were small for a “queen “ size. Bedroom facing east was too bright to sleep

This is a Very clean condo in a great location. It would have been better if some beach toys had been included (chairs, umbrellas and floats). Toys can be rented all up and down the street . It was very quiet in the condo, but the shades were white and it got bright very early. The small bedroom facing east could not be slept in past dawn. You can walk to many bars and restaurants from the condo and the kitchen was well equipped to make your own meals.

photos and description of this property are misleading, not really a 3-bedroom unit; the two true bedrooms are very cramped, not able to open closet doors due to bed placement; the sideroom with the day bed does not have sufficient room for use of the trundle bed, we had to move it into the living room area for night time use; the kitchen living dining open area is cramped; floors were cringeworthy dirty throughout, we mopped and vacuumed within 30 minutes of arriving and realizing our socks and feet were black from floor contact; throw rugs gritty grimy dirty, we put aside rather than walking on; dryer lint filter not cleaned to the extent that there was lint build-up inside the dryer door; inside top of washer dirty, we had to wipe down before use; shower curtain hooks corroded to the extent that they would not stay latched, very annoying to have to rehook the curtain with every use; no serving dishes included in the kitchen gear; very apparent toilet paper and other solid waste debris on the toilet plunger - very unpleasant to encounter; no directions provided for use of televisions

Hoped for more….

Condo was just ok. We don’t spend a lot of time in the places we stay so we made do. It could use a remodel overall but atleast to the floors and patio furniture. Other than Master, rooms are small. Biggest disappointment was the cleanliness. On the surface it appeared clean but hair in drain, dust on surface tops and floors and dirty baseboards. There was leaking trash sitting outside the condo all weekend. Internet didn’t work. And the stools need to be fixed. Big safety hazard with kids. I read that in a previous review and assumed it was fixed months later but no. Internet did not work and our cell phone service was slim to none. Door lock to the pool was not working either. Given the price point, expected more. Lots of opportunities for improvement. Proximity to the beach and nightlife were good.

Capts. Watch fit for an Admiral.

This place was super clean and super close to everything.: the Beach, the Restaurants, and the Night Life. It's a short walk to the long Pier. The Rooftop Pool was a nice oasis. The Kitchen was very well appointed. I will like returning to Captains Watch 6.

couple of notes

The stools at the counter (there were 2 of them), needed the screws tightened up. Also my neice nearly slipped several times in the tub/shower in the main bathroom. I had to go to into Savannah to purchase non-slip mats to put inside the tub so no one would injure themselves.

The perfect location. Loved the patio and the condo

We had a hard time finding the office and reaching them but overall they were friendly and accommodating when we got there and we would do it all again.
