My husband and I were born and raised in the beautiful State of Washington. We grew up in the same church and have been married for the past 17 years. Our dream of living on the lake has finally become a reality and we really enjoy sharing it with others.
Steve has a true passion for fishing and exploring the gorgeous outdoors that this area has to offer.
A lazy day snuggled up on a lawn chair in front of the lake with my adorable puppy and a good book sounds pretty close to heaven to me:-) hiking, kayaking, boating, long bicycle rides, snowshoeing, and an evening BBQ with family and friends all come in as a close second!
Although our Vacation Rental adventure only began the summer of 2017... it is obvious to us that we were made for this! We absolutely love getting to know our guests and hearing about their traveling experiences!! We have met many amazing people and just love love love hosting!!

We live close by and will accommodate your needs in any way that we can. If you are looking for suggestions on the local area we are more than willing to be there for you! We also understand that every guest has a different preference on how much interaction they have with the host. We try to be aware of each person's individual wants and needs and completely respect your privacy. You are on vacation and it is very important to us that you enjoy yourself!

This Lakeside Log Cabin is perfect for couples, families, and getaways with a group of friends. If you are looking to accommodate a slightly larger group, please contact us to see if we can provide a comfortable sleeping arrangement.

Fishing is open year-round (WA State requires fishing licence for age 15+) and Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and Yellow Perch can all be found in Tanwax Lake. If you get lucky, grill up some freshly caught fish on the BBQ Grill. This can be found on the large covered deck that you have exclusive use of during your stay.

Need to get out of the sun but not ready for relaxing inside the air-conditioned cabin? We have a large sun umbrella and a covered patio that will provide a welcome shade for reading, relaxing, and visiting with your loved ones.

**Flat screen TV! Basic Cable, Blu-ray player & VHS (some movies are also provided). The TV is also equipped with Chromecast (allowing guests to use their mobile device to stream their favorite content from their personal accounts)
**A game shelf & drawer packed full of board games and books for you to enjoy!
**BBQ Grill (we provide the propane)

Upon request, we have several different children and adult life jackets to choose from, but cannot guarantee that we have your size.

Fishing poles! We have a few poles that we are happy to loan you during your stay.

Have a watercraft you would like to launch? There is a great boat ramp conveniently located at the campgrounds (they have a $5 fee) about a one minute drive from here. Once your boat is in the water you can keep it at our private dock for your entire visit.
