Nice condo - Great location

We enjoyed our time! Great location. Condo was nice accommodations were comfortable. Kitchen equipment could use some updates (utensils, pans) the outlets need to be replaced as they wouldn’t hold -plugs kept falling out in f just about all plugs. Overall nice, clean and comfortable.

4th of July week on Sanibel

Well maintained condo complex. Condo was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a week at the beach. A couple of ceiling fans would be a nice addition to the unit but otherwise a perfect get away!

We did wish the pantry in the kitchen was useable for our food and supplies for the week as well. Overall though it was a great property and we would recommend staying here when visiting Sanibel.

The property is always clean and very well maintained and supervised. Pool hours allow for both recreational water play and lap swimming. Access to the beach is very convenient. This is a quiet, well-run operation that has us returning year after year.

The unit however was very old, badly in need of an update. The carpet was quite stained and dirty. The kitchen drawers were old and lopsided. The cupboards were dirty, as were the dishes. They looked like they had been run through the dishwasher, but came out with food caked on them. I had to prewash by hand whatever we used.Furniture was old. One chair was badly stained and looked broken. We were very disappointed in the overall condition for the cost.

Under equipped

We love Sanibel and Loggerhead, however this unit was not updated and under equipped. Kitchen was older and cook wear was pretty beat up, carpet worn and baths out of date. Still worth it as we love the location.

Fabulous location

This is the first time we a have ever used a VRBO and we were very impressed with how easy the process was. The location was terrific and this unit was very spacious for a family of 6. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a very short walk to the beach, a pool, and a full kitchen!

Great time in Sanibel

Clean and functional, although a few issues with some minor things like the broken shower door handle, and the WIFI not working late in the week. We had a great time and loved Loggerhead Cay as usual!

Logger Head Cay 273 - Needs Updating

Reviewer Comments: We visit Sanibel on a regular basis; this was our first time using this rental agency and staying at Loggerhead Cay. We had 4 families in our group, staying in 4 separate condos. The Loggerhead Cay community was lovely and well maintained; Sanibel Holiday was easy to work with, communicative, and responsive. Our condo, however, left a lot to be desired. The weekly rate was identical for three of our family's condos, but ours was the only one that had not been renovated. The kitchen was not only out-dated, but it was not equipped adequately - missing essentials such as a colander, cutting board, and an assortment of pot and pan sizes. The carpet was overly worn and stained - including what looked like could be pet stains near the sliding doors to the porch. The whole condo smelled of pets. There were no ceiling fans in the unit. A phone and answering machine was next to the bed in the master bedroom and someone's daughter (I'm assuming the owner's) called repeatedly in the morning to leave messages - sometimes waking us up. Overall, there was not a whole lot of care put into decor or anticipating guests' needs. This was underscored by how beautifully updated, decorated, and equipped the condos were of our family members who paid the same rate. We would not stay in this unit again.

Summer Getaway

Wonderful property, wonderful location, wonderful vibe. Our family had an incredible 2 weeks at Loggerhead Cay and would definitely recommend friends and family. Felt right at home. Pool was clean, and inviting. Distance from the beach was perfect. Simple process to rent, quick responses to questions. Just wished check in was a bit earlier in the day.
